Just returned from the Saltwood House weekend visit. Had an awesome weekend with special frends & Don and Erik who again made another stay very special. The inn is just as lovely and comfortable as always. It is a place that still feels like " home" to us all. The front porch is the place to be for people watching and relaxing the day or evening away.Weather was perfect, breakfast is always a wonderful place to play catch up with friends.. Thanks again Don & Erik. There is 2020 to look forward to and hopefully many more years to come !
My friend and I recently returned from our annual visit to Cape May and the Saltwood House. We have been staying there for about 17 yrs and would not stay anywhere else.Don and Erik do everything possible to make our stay perfect. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed with antiques, comfortable beds and soft fluffy towels. The breakfasts are delicious and we always look forward to the Cape May french toast!! The porch is a favorite spot with plenty of rocking chairs, perfect for relaxing.I can't imagine staying anywhere else and anyone who visits the Saltwood House will feel the same way!!
Just returned from my October visit at my most favorite B & B. Everything is just as beautiful as it was the year before. Don And Erik are always the perfect hosts, they welcome me back each year and cannot do enough to make you always feel at home in this Inn. Comfortable bright and airy rooms, delicious breakfasts, wonderful new people to meet. I would never think of staying anywhere else in this lovely Seaside town. Booked for 2019 !!! Can't wait to return !
After 20 years of visiting Cape May we have found the perfect B & B. Great location, comfortable clean rooms, the best breakfast served family style and on site parking made our stay so enjoyable. Don the owner and Erik the manager were gracious hosts. We were welcomed by the other guests and immediately felt included in the Saltwood family. The large beautiful front porch was one of a kind where we sat for hours with the other guests enjoying the view of Jackson Street. No need to look anywhere else. The Saltwood House is the best !!!!!
My wife and I just returned from our 45th wedding anniversary vacation in Cape May. Our experience could not have been any better. Spending our time at Saltwood House is like spending time with family. Don, the owner and Innkeeper could not be anymore welcoming or kind to his guests. Along with Erik whose breakfasts are enough reason for a visit they make this “last B&B on Jackson Street” a must visit. My wife and I looked forward to our visit, loved our time there and hated to leave. The home is beautiful inside and out, the guests are always fun and the hospitality is as good as it gets. Imagine being on the oldest street in Cape May in a beautiful B&B that is a block and a half from the beach in one direction and Washington Street Mall in the other. Now add Don and his hospitality and sharing his beautiful home and you can then understand the Saltwood experience. We can’t wait until August 2019 to celebrate 46 years of marriage there. Plan a visit there, you won’t be disappointed. …
