We and two couples (long time friends) decided way back in pre-pandemic times to celebrate our common wedding anniversaries of 50 years at the Queen Victoria. Imagine our surprise to find that we could still celebrate in a very safe environment! The rooms each have air purifiers and the inn keepers Doug and Anna Marie and staff follow protocols to ensure the safety of guests while providing wonderful teas and breakfasts daily. The rooms are lovely. They are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the front porch rocking chairs that just add to the spirit of relaxation. The breakfasts prepared are outstanding! Homemade breads, homemade jams, fruit salad, all sots of juices and wonderful coffee are available plus a special entree prepared each day. It is so nice to start the day relaxing over a leisurely breakfast! Anna Marie and Doug are very warm and welcoming. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. We are hoping to visit the Queen Victoria again!

Property's Favorite Review
My husband and I truly love Cape May. We have been staying at the Queen Victoria for years. There is nothing quite like it. I am very picky. The rooms are always immaculate, comfortable and well maintained. The amenities such as the beach chairs, beach towels and bikes are great. Breakfast and afternoon tea are wonderful. Everything home made and delicious. Doug and Anna Marie are true hands on hosts. It amazes us how much they go above and beyond to make everyone welcome. They have a wonderful staff also. Can’t wait to go back!

Thanks you very much for taking the time to post your review (and for staying with us all these years). We work very hard to please our guests, who should all be picky when they spend their valuable vacation time and money. I think our fleet of bicycles are probably our most popular amenity, so you're in good company. We can't wait to have you back!

we just spent 4 days at the Queen Victoria bed and breakfast. It is very centrally located allowing walking access to the beach and the main drags. The room was very clean and everybody from the owners to employees were very nice. I was especially relieved by how they were safeguarding us from the pandemic. I most certainly would recommend this establishment to all people visiting Cape May. I most certainly would stay here again. A happy and satisfied customer. Howard Levine

We would highly recommend this beautiful Bed and Breakfast! From the ease of booking the room to checking out, the time spent there was perfect. We were celebrating my husbands birthday. I called ahead and ordered a cheese platter and chocolate covered strawberries. These items were left in our room refrigerator. You certainly received your moneys worth. Monica, at check in, was lovely. She gave us all information needed and even took our picture at the Inn’s sign. Our room was quaint and beautifully decorated. We spent many hours on the balcony in our rocking chairs. The room was so clean and had an air purifier as well. There are so many nooks to sit and enjoy the charm. A great spot is on the front porch swing. There are “pantries” in each building with coffee, tea, soda, juice and water at your disposal 24 hours. Tea time is enjoyable. You have 2 homemade iced teas to choose from and get a goody bag with homemade treats. If they have the pecan bars, ask for an extra! Last, but certainly not least, is the delicious breakfast. The homemade beer bread is out of this world! The breakfast was the best that we have experienced in a vacation setting. So much so, we bought the cookbook that has the recipes they use. Doug and Anna, they are 2 of the most lovely people you will meet. We had a truly magical time and can’t wait to come for our Anniversary in a few months.

We have been visiting the Queen Victoria since 2006. We were married in The House of Royals in 2010 and celebrated our 10 year anniversary in March of 2020. Over the years, we have stayed at the Queen Victoria nine times and each visit has been special and unique. Anna Marie and Doug are gracious hosts. The breakfasts are creative and delicious and Cape May is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We look forward to our next visit (soon)!

Thanks so much. We were thrilled when you chose to be married at The Queen Victoria in 2010, and even more happy to have you returning this year to celebrate your 10th anniversary. It was truly a pleasure seeing you again. I'm glad that you enjoyed our breakfasts so much!
