We’ve been staying at the Queen Victoria Thanksgiving weekend for the past 23 years! Jamie, Ashley and Brandy do a great job and ensure that we can’t wait to come back the following year! Their smile and warmth goes a long way!

My husband and I stayed at the Regents Park cottage. I'm in a wheelchair and steps can be a problem. The cottage is renovated and offers a ramp and flat threshold for easy access. I called before we left to go down to Cape May. I found that there is a small step into the shower, which I could do. I told Monica, who answered the phone, that I needed a shower bench or seat. It was in the shower, when we got there! The next morning, breakfast was in the next building. The weather was lovely so we were going to eat outside since there were steps to get in the building. My husband went in to get breakfast for us. He came out with Sam, a lovely lady, who made sure I had more than enough to eat. She even came out to refill my husband's coffee and brought me tea! The staff made us feel welcome and went far beyond our expectations to make us very comfortable! Thank you! We will be back!!

We spent a weekend here recently. This was our third visit to The Queen Victoria. Our room was very, very clean and we appreciated the air purifier. The only reason for not giving a 5 star review was that it just felt less personal than when Doug and Anne Marie were there. Instead of the owners being on-site there is a staff responsible for running the operations and we could tell the difference. There was no one to answer our questions about restaurant recommendations etc. and it was obvious that the staff were running around wearing many hats. On the other hand all of the staff we encountered were lovely and the few room requests that we made were fulfilled. I am not writing this to be negative, but hopefully as an honest assessment of what the new owners can do to make the experience more personal. We hope to return again.

Our room, the Queen Victoria, was very convenient and spacious. The ground floor access was great! Property was well maintained and we would be happy in the other buildings as well. Breakfast was large with hot entrees as well as baked goodies. All were baked on the premises. So delicious, I purchased their cook book! Tea was amazing and we liked the 3pm to 4:30pm time slot. It didn't interfere with our dinner plans.

We were nervous to travel because of Covid and the changed ownership at The Queen Victoria. All the "returning" guests agreed that the only way things have changed is to improve. You will not find a more gracious, hard-working staff. The hotel is immaculate and Covid precautions were being followed. Breakfasts (huge, delicious) and afternoon teas (also huge and delicious) were served on the outdoor deck and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Our room was clean and well stocked. There is no room for improvement because this staff is top notch.

Dear Ellen & David, Thank you so much for your gracious review. The staff at The Queen Victoria work extremely hard to make the guests have a great experience. It truly is a team effort. We are so happy that we are able to do breakfast and tea like we did pre COVID but still the proper precaution so the guests are comfortable. We look forward to you returning to stay with us. Thank you, Jamie Harvey General Manager
