The room was very clean and neat. Beds were comply. Jamie was really nice. The soda machine was not working so she gave me a couple out of her car. She allowed us to use the outside shower the next day after we checked out.
Loved our time at the motel. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! Rooms were clean, with all of the amenities. Beautiful pool! Walking distance to the beach. Very affordable. I can’t wait to return!
It is hard to find an affordable hotel in Cape May and this fits the bill for that but it is definitely no frills. The rooms are very dated, the beds are not comfortable and have very old style bedding. It was clean though and the front desk lady was very nice and friendly. If you are lucky enough to get beautiful weather, it is an okay place to stay because you won’t be in the room much at all. If the weather isn’t nice, you are in for an uncomfortable stay. The room is very tiny. Barely enough space for two adults. The wall AC was loud and musty smelling. It is on the far end of town so you need to bike, drive or take some form of public transportation to get to the shops and restaurants. It is convenient to the Wawa.
Have been staying at this very clean, cozy, and accommodating motel for about 8-10 years, and always am very satisfied and pleased.....the owner keeps everything clean & in order... outside pool, barbecue, and only 3 blocks from the Ocean.
They over booked the hotel, called to inform us of this less than a week from us arriving. They did nothing to help. We got lucky and found an amazing room at the Chalfonte. We loved the Chalfonte and highly recommend staying there if you can.
