The Mason Cottage is a lovely country Victorian B&B located in the heart of historic Cape May. The inn is just one block from the beach and two blocks from many fine shops and restaurants. Built in 1871, the Mason Cottage is endowed with lofty ceilings, full-length windows and a sweeping veranda, all so characteristic of Victorian homes of the period. There are nine lovely antique appointed rooms/suites to choose from, each with a private bath.

First time at Mason Cottage. From the time we got there to the time we left we felt like family at home. Great location, easy walk to the beach and Washington St. shops. Enjoyed the bicycles as well as chairs and towels to use for the beach. Excellent 2 course served breakfast. Have any food likes of dislikes? Not a problem, very accommodating. Our compliments to the chef!! In the afternoon snacks are put out to enjoy. Loved sitting on the porch and relaxing. We enjoyed our 2 nights so much that we rebooked again for next year, but for 3 nights! Already looking forward to it.

Just got back from a quick getaway to Cape May. Our accommodations at The Mason Cottage were awesome. We stayed in the Davis Suite. The Suite was perfect with a large sitting area and jacuzzi tub. We ate breakfast each morning on the front porch. The breakfast was delicious and large portions. Also took the bikes out for a morning ride. It was a perfect weekend and will definitely be returning!! Thank you Kim!!

The host was very nice, our room was lovely, the food provided was yummy. We went during the off-season, and only stayed one night, but we had a good time and will probably try to stay here again if/when we get a chance to go back to Cape May in the future.

My husband surprised me with a stay at The Mason Cottage Bed and Breakfast Inn. He could not have picked a better place to celebrate our anniversary. Marissa was absolutely delightful and the service was topnotch. The Grand Mason room was more then I imagined…cozy yet spacious ,with Victorian touches abound. Marissa and her assistant Amy provided the guests with a lovely and yummy breakfast each morning. The cottage’s location is fantastic….a block from the beach and on a street where you can park without paying meters. I highly recommend staying here. I can’t thank Marissa enough for her hospitality. Hope to go again before the summer is over.

I visited Cape May for the first time ever in March. I stayed at the Mason Cottage and what a lovely place it is! A very charming bed and breakfast, very neat, tidy and clean. The house itself you can tell is full of history and the décor suits it perfectly. The innkeeper, Marissa, was so helpful and accommodating. She made herself available if I had any questions or concerns. The breakfasts were AMAZING! SO DELICIOUS! The afternoon snacks and refreshments were also tasty for a mid afternoon pick-me-up. I had such a wonderful time for my first stay in Cape May and I will absolutely be back to the Mason Cottage! Thank you again, Marissa!

I stayed at The Mason Cottage for a few nights as a small getaway on my days off. I have to say, this did not disappoint! The atmosphere was amazing and I was able to finally relax for a few days. The Inn-Keeper, Marissa, was wonderful! She was able to help me with anything I needed, her breakfasts were delicious, and her general hospitality was top notch. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity. Can't wait to come back!

This was a wonderful stay at a charming, beautiful B&B. The room was very comfortable, nice bathroom, great shower. Everything was perfectly clean. There was coffee, tea, and ice available 24/7. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely on-site host who gave us a great recommendation for dinner, too. A couple of blocks from the beach: quiet, historic neighborhood. I will definitely be back!

Had the pleasure of staying at this fabulous property in Cape May, NJ. The pictures we saw prior to our arrival did not do it justice. It turned out to be a warm, charming, and incredibly beautiful B&B. We lucked out and the weather turned out to be lovely for December so we could sit out on the expansive porch, to read our books or just converse with other guests. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and were filled with every necessity you would expect from a top tier B&B. The house manager could not have been more lovely; not to mention an awesome cook. Our breakfasts were magical feasts prepared with such thoughtful culinary skill and passion. If you are in search for a B&B that has both charm and comfort look no further than Mason Cottage

We planned a weekend here to see close friends for the 1st time in almost two years because of Covid. We could not have selected a better location. The house is beautiful and quaint. It is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Ocean. The highlight of our stay was Marisa the Innkeeper. She prepared wonderful breakfasts each day as well as an afternoon snack-all of which was awesome. She also made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. If you are thinking about going to Cape May, NJ this is where you want to stay.

My wife and I just got back from a weekend in Cape May, NJ where we stayed at Mason Cottage. The house is gorgeous and situated super close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they had beach towels, beach chairs, and bikes at your disposal. We stayed in the Rose room and were delighted with it. Breakfasts were handmade and delicious and served to you out on the porch. A lovely stay!
