We have been coming to Cape May for years and finally found a place we will be coming back to yearly! The Turret suite was wonderful and the deck was great to have our meals out on. We found out that our bed sheets, towels and washcloths, and shampoo. conditioner, and soap was ALL provided. We had a slight water problem in our bathroom and it was fixed that day by her husband. Laura cleans the place herself and she does an immaculate job. We can't wait to stay here next year!

We’ve been coming to The Columbia House for years. We’ve stayed in the Turret Suite or the Master Suite, and both are exceptional. Laura is a pleasure to work with, always extremely accommodating. We love the location. It’s 2 blocks to town and a few steps to the beach. Cape May is my absolute favorite place to be, and staying here feels like home.

This is our second time staying at the Columbia House. Last time we stayed in the Parlor Suite, this time we stayed in the Garden Suite. We have stayed at many B&B's in Cape May over the years, and since we found the Columbia House we will never stay anywhere else. It is clean, comfortable, and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. Laura is so accommodating. We had a personal issue and our stay was going to be interrupted. Laura offered us several options to ensure we had a great stay. The Columbia house is centrally located and in walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and the beach. The personal deck is an added bonus. We will definitely be back... very soon! Thank you Laura, for sharing your house so we can make great memories.

My family has stayed at Columbia house before but my daughter and i never have. This was our first year going and we will never stay anywhere else! We stayed in the parlor suite which is designed for a couple or in our case my 10 year old and myself. The location is perfect-you’re in the first block off the beach. For all of us toting kids and beach gear this is extremely helpful to be close. The outdoor shower is clean and has great water pressure to get the sand rinsed off and they provide towels/washcloths and shower supplies (shampoo/conditioner/soap in a few options). You have parking AT THE HOUSE. No more driving about to find a space. Each suite is provided beach chairs so if you happen to be flying in or just don’t have the space in your vehicle no worries! Columbia house is basically a block to anything :) As for the parlor suite-it is clean, well kept and has the typical cape May Victorian charm. Laura and Jim provide all of the basics plus more like a dish rag, hand towel, stemware etc. Each suite has clean and working window AC units which in our case kept the entire suite cool and comfortable. Don’t let the cost of any of the suites deter you. It is worth it to have parking, a full kitchen, washer/dryer (they even provide laundry soap), beach chairs, great outdoor shower, and location! The owners are readily available and respond promptly to any questions or concerns.

Our second time at the Columbia House. Wife always wanted to stay in one of "those Victorian houses" and the Columbia House doesn't disappoint. Stylishly furnished to match its stately Victorian charm. Owners Jim and Laura very accommodating w furnished kitchens, wifi, free use of beach chairs, parking.... Loved cocktails on the front porch w rocking chairs or later in the evening off our own private deck. Rented the Master Suite which provided ample space for our family and AM coffee in the turret looking at the ocean was a treat. Will be back
