Thank you John for a very nice stay. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and clean, and the breakfasts were wonderful. The advice you gave us on restaurants and activities was spot on. The Inn is very well located and an easy walk to the beach/boardwalk and center of town.

My mom suprised me with a trip to Cape May for my 30th bday. This was my first ever B&B. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. The room we got was AMAZING. It had its own private entrance on the back of the house, it was super clean, and just all around a great room. The owner... More

We have been going to Cape May for years, I like to try the different B&B's because there are so many, This was our first time at the Bacchus Inn and we had a great stay for 3 nights. John the innkeeper is very engaging with his guest and of course we enjoyed sitting on the porch with the other... More

Just got back from another great stay at the Bacchus Inn. It is very close to the beach and the Washington Street Mall. They have very nice rooms, but the best part is breakfast and the afternoon wine and cheese. There may be places in Cape May that are more luxury but you can not beat the innkeeper's John and... We enjoyed 3 nights at the Bacchus Inn during May. The location is perfect and within walking distance to the Washington St mall, and the ocean. John welcomed us and put a glass of wine in our hands right away, while introducing us to other guests on the porch!! The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were very... More

Inviting, Clean and Excellent Customer Service. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Our Host, John was such a gentleman and so accomodating. We got the last room w/private bthrm right outside the room. We wouldn't normal opt for a room w/seperate bthrm but we booked last min and it was only option. Our experience(comfort level, cleanliness, suburb... More

What a great time we had in this beautifully restored historic home. The room was delightful and large. Everything was very clean and bed was comfortable. There was a wonderful afternoon wine and snack break, and if u don't drink like me, there is sweet lemonade. All the comforts of home are at this inn, even the free use of... More

After reading dozens of Inn reviews in Cape May I have to say this is the only one where I didn't read any negatives and that's for a great reason... John. Here you will find a charming host who never stops working, entertaining and serving his guests and provides a place you want to come back to. Everyone we spoke... More

The accommodations, food and hospitality exceeded our expectations. John is a great host/Innkeeper. The breakfasts were unusual and very good. Location is perfect, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

This was our second Valentine's stay at the Bacchus Inn, but we have visited several times before. We could not wait to see the innkeepers John and Lisa. We had such a good time over the weekend. As always, we met very engaging and nice people. We got to stay in our favorite room, #10 Rioja. This suite was better... More
