Our few days in Cape May were very special in this adorable seaside inn. The inn is directly across from the ocean and our room had a fabulous balcony to watch the sunrise. The inn is within easy walking distance of the hub-bub of the city of Cape May but blissfully away from the crowds and noise. Several restaurants are just a block or two away, although since our trip was in early November many were closed for the season. Our room was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The innkeeper LiZa was readily available. We will definitely return to this charming inn.

The house and grounds are well maintained and the suite was very clean. 931 Beach is right across the street from the beach and about a 10 -12 minute walk to the Washington Mall. The housekeeper Liza is very friendly and accessible. We met several other guests who had stayed at the house multiple times. We stayed in the Driftwood suite which is on the 2nd floor in the “middle” of the house. A bay window faces the CapeScape property and provides a partial view of the ocean. Nice sized refrigerator & freezer for a small suite. The bathtub is small and probably more for decoration than for actual use. Nice sized shower though. 2 minor issues: the bathroom door didn’t close due to a faulty latch and stays open about 6 inches unless you prop something against it to hold it shut. The other thing is there is no hook or towel bar next to the bathroom sink to hang a small towel, that’s it.

My husband and eight-year-old daughter stayed for 2 nights at 931 Beach Guest House and had a lovely time. The property is beautiful and in an amazing location with the beautiful ocean across the street. Liza was very sweet and chatted with us and everything was within walking distance. We will definitely come back another time!

Our trip to Cape May was made special because of the efforts of Liza at 931 Beach Guest House. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Having breakfast and lunch on the beautiful front porch was relaxing and enjoyable. And being within walking distance to local restaurants and attractions was very convenient. However, what stood out most to my wife and me was the friendly service and warm hospitality that the innkeeper, Liza showed to us. We looked forward to our conversations where she shared tips on things to do, places to go, and great dining experiences. Perfect week in a wondering place!

We have stayed at 931 for years and many things keep us coming back. The location, the balconies with Ocean views, and the comfort of the room. The #1 reason we keep coming back though is the kindness and professionalism of the long-time Innkeeper, Liza. Coming here, we always feel special and welcome. Can’t wait to return in the Spring!
