We went there to have a good time but at 11:00 pm they came to our side and tell us to turn everything off because people go in there to sleep. No good at all , the place is to smart and the street are narrow. So remember if you go there be ready just to seat and do anything

We stayed in a cabin - great having AC and a full kitchen. Kids had fun roaming the grounds. was too croweded though - roads are narrow and bikes, golf carts, and trucks were on top of each other. wasnt a lot of space in bewteen units either. but still the staff was really nice and we would definitely come back

We frequent here and love this campground. We have had a seasonal site here for many years now and several generations of our family have gotten to experience it here. We absolutely love seashore campsites. The lake and sand is a kid favorite and the water slides do not disappoint. The pool has a baby section that are sectioned and gated off from the deeper pool. Clean and family friendly. Several parks are spread out throughout the campground and there is always things for the kids to do. We came for Memorial Day weekend as always this year. One bathhouse was out of hot water, so we went to another one. No big deal. The bathhouse was clean as well as the laundry and bathroom. The camp store is a good size with plenty of necessities and well stocked. Prices are decent. Staff is super friendly. The only negative we experienced this weekend, and the reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the snack shop. In all the years I have been coming, the snack shop has always been run by some younger kids all of which are super friendly. The food would take a while to cook but has been great in my opinion, wide variety and accommodating with their options. Also good prices. This year they seemed to have a new crew in the snack shop. George’s snack shop is the new name. Very limited options. Greek menu. One morning we came for coffee and breakfast to find out they also did away with the breakfast. As well as their processor was down and we could not order anything until it was back up. ( glitches happen, no big deal) we got coffee inside the camp store and left. The entire weekend the snack shop phone was down so we could not call in orders. Memorial Day we did activities and went to the lake and then to the pool. After getting the kids out of the pool at 5:30 decided to feed everyone. When we were waiting to order an employee was in line in front of me and the same woman was telling him he couldn’t order because they were closing down since they were not busy the last hour an a half. He started to walk away and others made comments that it’s dinner time and people were waiting to order. She let the man come back and place an order. She then told me that they were closing down and she would let me order but that was it after us per her boss (whom was not there). In all my years we have never had the snack shop close that early especially on a Holiday weekend. The pool does not even close until about 8. And u have always been able to go and play miniature golf at night and get food or ice cream. I did hear the woman say they were closing the grill so I asked her if the rest of the shop would be open so the kids can get ice cream after their meals. She bluntly told me no then said this isn't her decision, this was per her boss. I went and sat down waiting for our meals. She then came out and had her cell phone and said her boss said she could stay open until 6:30 and the kids could get ice cream then they are done. I did get the lemon chicken Greek salad. The chicken was not lemon chicken, but instead a piece of grilled chicken with a lemon wedge on the side. They forgot the dressing. But once I got it, it was an ok salad. Another family member got a plain Greek salad which they put Parmesan cheese on instead of feta and when asking the older brown hair woman who worked there she replied she didn’t know what comes on it, at which time I referred to the ingredients listed under the salad on the menu. The chicken cheesesteak was loaded with oregano. Very odd addition and not good. They did away with all kids meals (in the past came with fries and a drink and a coupon for ice cream as well as served on a frisbee- called happy camper meals and looked forward to, by all the kids) so we ordered cheeseburgers with ketchup and pickles. They did not give pickles, and the burgers were like frozen patties, and very dry. The kids would not eat them. Fries were small portions and when paying an additional 1.00 for cheese they put 2 tiny dollops of cheese on the waffle fries which only covered 2 fries and nothing else. The plain waffle fries were not bad though. The chicken fingers were liked by the remaining 2 children, and another child got a marinara and cheese flatbread which she enjoyed. Another family member ordered a white flatbread. The spinach tomatoes and cheese were not heated through and olive oil made it all fall right off, none of the toppings adhered to the bread. I watched while we sat there and ate our food, several people try to order food and get turned away. Bad business especially when they are new to the snack shop and a holiday weekend. The decline in the food was bad enough but the real turn off was the rudeness of the new staff. Especially the older lady with brown hair. Each day our experience with her was very disappointing. Her short answers and frustrated attitude was a complete turn off. She was sighing heavily if we ordered an additional item. Felt like we were bothering her. Sad to see the change when things were so nice there before and previously friendly staff. Not sure why switch something up that was working fine. I really hope they make some changes for the better this time. Once again, we LOVE this campground however we will definitely not be patronizing the snack shop during our visits this summer unless something is done.

We came on a terribly rainy weekend so we didn’t see much, but our campsite was essentially in the welcome building’s parking lot. Very little privacy and the campsite didn’t even fit the picnic table next to our small travel trailer. It was actually between the two sites. We didn’t go further, but we did see a much larger trailer try to go to their site down one of the small streets and then back all the way out because they didn’t really fit. My husband said the gym was very nice. This is obviously not a review of the permanent trailers.

This was my family's second year staying at Seashore during the annual NJ Firemen's Convention. To put it simply, we have already book our campsite for next year! This is a wonderful campground with plenty of family friendly amenities. Swimming pool and lake, fishing lake, mini golf and much more! The grounds are well maintained and the bathhouses are clean (and plenty of hot water). The staff is friendly and very accommodating, and were super helpful as we picked our site for next year. We are looking forward to our return in September 2019! Thank you again Seashore for another great stay!
