Although the park was quite empty, and there were many open spaces, they assigned us to park our 40-foot RV in a very crowded space right next to another camper and between trees close to our space. Because the park was so empty, their voltage was too high for our home (we have an on-board surge protector.) Although they had the power company come out, there was nothing the power company or the resort could do to reduce the 249-252 voltage in a 50-amp circuit. Bottom line, we had no power the entire time we were there. We tried running our generator, but that bothered the camper next door. The resort tried to find another campsite, but all of the ones they tried also had the voltage at too high a level for our surge protector. They said when park is full, there is so much draw on the electricity, that the voltage is lower. On a positive note, the laundry facility and showers were clean and well-maintained. The park itself is lovely and in a good location, although we could not get into town without a car. There were no rentals available and we don’t use Uber. It was a short drive to the Cape May-Lewes ferry. Very unhappy with stay, overall, but in another time and situation it might have been good.

Stayed in our 24ft travel trailer just last week with our friends who have their own 27ft trailer as well. From day 1 we knew we would be returning campers! Had 2 sites right next to each other. Great paved sites with plenty of space between all neighbors. The lake is great and the staff does an excellent job if setting up beach social distancing. The gounds are huge and clean. Everyone one we encountered vacationing were real nice as well as all the staff. Store has a huge selection, they offer free mini golf, sell firewood, ice and propane. You are only 10 min from the Cape May beach and town square, 5 from 2 great breweries and 20 min from the zoo. We are already planning our return in 2021!!

I wanted a quiet getaway and it was anything but. The spaces were tight and close together. People were up and making noise after quiet time which was 11pm. Kids were riding their bikes recklessly and wouldn't move as you drove into park. A few kids almost hit me. You have to pay for water to take a shower and wash your hands after using the toilet. Since this was during Covid there was no social distancing. Nobody was wearing masks while they were in groups outside. Although all the employees wore masks indoors, they allowed people to come in the office and just put their t-shirt over their face for a covering. The employees blamed SunRvResorts when I asked why they aren't enforcing the rules. When I pay $92 a night, I should't have to pay for water.

Stayed here in our 35 foot rig for several days. The site was flat and easy to back-in. Nice and conveniently located hookups for water and electric (no cable). Not everything was open because of COVID But it looks like there’s a beautiful lake (with a beach and waterslides) and a decent pool. They had basketball and volleyball courts, a store which was well-stocked with snacks, gifts, and convenience items, and on-site facilities for propane, air, and other RV requirements. It was only about 10 minutes to get either to the beach or downtown. There were a lot of people on bikes and the park is very bicycle friendly. We felt very safe allowing our (young teenage) kids to roam. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this campground if you plan to be in Cape May with an RV.
