My Wife and I had a great time staying at the John Wesley over the Thanksgiving holiday. Bonnie and Lance are great hosts and will bend over backwards for you if there are any issues. The inn is quiet and well kept. It is also within walking distance to pretty much anything in downtown Cape May. The breakfast is great... More

My daughter and I visited Cape May for the weekend for the Coast Guard commissioning ceremony for the newest boat, The Rollin Fritch. We needed a place to stay and we did not have a reservation. We loved our stay at the John Wesley Inn. Bonnie made our stay just perfect. She greeted us at the door with the warmest... More

An absolutely wonderful old charming Victorian Inn within the first block from the beach. The Inn is decorated to the Victorian period and every room is a historical adventure in beautiful. Breakfast is a culinary delight - waffles or pancakes, bacon or sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, tea and more... Lance and Bonnie are the perfect hosts. A must stay!

John Wesley is a lovingly maintained Stockton Cottage in the heart of the historic district. The location is perfect- everything within old Cape May is within easy walking distance: Beach, walking tours of the historic areas, Washington Mall (pedestrian shopping street), and restaurants. The owners, Bonnie and Lance, operate the Inn on premises, and personify hospitality- including being up and... More

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at the John Wesley Inn, and it was wonderful! We stayed in the Mt.Vernon room on the third floor, and it was very clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable! We really enjoyed talking to our host, Bonnie, and loved the delicious breakfasts that she served every morning.... More

My wife and I came to this B&B directly after peak season in Cape May. The location was perfect (close to the beach and town - but in a quiet area) and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The room décor had a nice ambience as did the upstairs sun/family room and sitting parlor. Breakfasts were delicious and Bonnie and... More

This was our first stay in Cape May, chose the John Wesley based upon a recommendation of a friend. Excellent centralized location, didn't need to drive to go anywhere, we were able to walk to everything. The inn was very warm and inviting, the room was exactly as pictured on the website. The breakfasts were outstanding. The innkeepers, Bonnie and... More

We have been returning to The John Wesley Inn many times for over a decade. We have enjoyed the inn during the late summer season as well as in the winter. Bonnie is an incredible cook and gracious host. Plan to step back in time surrounded by beautiful antique decor while enjoying all modern comforts! The beach, gourmet and casual... More
