We checked into the Sea Crest on September 6, 2020 and checked out on September 14, 2020. We had a FANTASTIC time here! It was quiet, comfortable, modern and nicely decorated. The Staff here could not be any more friendly and that includes the maintenance personal as well as the personnel making up the rooms.
When I called them on Sunday the 6th to let them know I was in town and confirm that we would be on time, they invited me to come and park in their lot and use the pool, hot tub!! It was @ 11:30 and I wasn't due to check in until 3. - WOW very nice. Then while we swam in the pool they actually called my cell to let me know my room was ready - Early !
The room was bright and nicely decorated and had comfortable furniture. We had gotten the one room sundeck suite and it had a Queen Bed, a kitchen with all the cooking utensils and dishes we needed, microwave, toaster, two burner stove, Fridge/Freezer. The Bathroom also included a hairdryer and they even have a mini Laundromat on site with Irons and ironing boards should you need them.
Both the Living room/kitchen and the bedroom had a flat screen TV. Everyone in the office is very friendly and always asked how we were enjoying our stay. For the money we spent this is a terrific value.
There is a rack to lock your bicycle should you bring one.The pool is always spotless as is the hot tub. They are across the street from the beach or you can walk a block and go to the beach at the cove. They are also close to the Washington Street mall and a lot of restaurants, we walked everywhere the entire time we were there
There is another deck at the back of the building where you can use a grille to cook on and a large picnic table to eat at outside if you like. Everything was kept spotless and clean, and everyone working there was wearing masks, as well as gloves and the personnel making up the rooms were using disinfectant in the rooms as well.
I can only give them 5 stars here but they should receive 10. We will be back ! Do yourself a favor and come here to stay. They treat you like friends, not as an enemy like a lot of places in Cape May do. Thank you all !

Over the last ten years I have been going to the Sea Crest Inn with family and friends. Each and every time I have been impressed at how easy and comfortable our stays have been. My sister and I particularly enjoy a room on the second level that overlooks the pool area and has exquisite ocean views. I must commend the entire staff and this includes our housekeepers who do great jobs going beyond the call of duty for their guests. If more toilet paper is needed it is provided, if the television needs an adjustment it is fixed. Everyone in the office are approachable and eager to help. These are the small but necessary things that can make a visit pleasurable and make guests want to return year after year. Also the staff is happy to acquaint their guests as to what are the current happenings in Cape May, All great to know. I am also appreciative to be able to park on the ground level on the premises. Most helpful if one has to pack or unpack the car in the rain, And the elevator is so needed for transporting luggage to the rooms. Again, I reiterate these are the things that make the stay at the Sea Crest so helpful and enjoyable. Whether one comes with family, friends or on their own and I have experienced all three it a is a lovely getaway in Cape May at the Sea Crest. And, oh did I forget to mention that the beach is just across the street, public bathrooms and a beach tag booth right there to make it all accessible. And the cove just two blocks away where a gorgeous view of the cove beach and lighthouse in the distance can bee seen.

We went to Cape May for vacation, when multiple other trips were cancelled, as it was deemed a "safe" place by our Governor. what a find!! We felt totally safe and secure at this facility. The rooms were deep cleaned in between visitors and the staff used all cautions our room was actually a mini suite complete with a stocked kitchenette. The location is perfect right across the street from the beach and within miles of all the sights. It also has a great pool. We will be back again

Cape May is our home away from home and so is the Seacrest hotel. We've been going for many years and always stay in this same hotel. Linda at the front desk is very accommodating and John the hotel manager is super! The rooms are very clean and we like the pool area as we never find it too crowded. Especially with the current virus situation, we didn't feel that it was hard to social distance at the pool and found that our room seemed cleaner than ever. We elected not to have maid service this time, but every day our cleaning lady Clara made sure to give us whatever we asked for throughout our stay. We decided to extend our stay by one night though had to switch rooms since ours wasn't available. John got our new room ready for us ASAP and made it a super easy transition. We also love the location which is right across the street from the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay as usual and look forward to our next visit.

We stayed at this hotel based on reviews and location and yes we would stay here again (although our next visit we will try a different hotel just to switch things up) but there are a couple of issues that we feel should be considered. The room was nice clean the view was nice but the problem was the only air conditioner was in the bedroom only and the rest of the room was warm if unable to provide additional air to the rest of the room a ceiling fan would certainly go a long way. The other issue being the cigarette smoking which these rooms have two chairs and table and a small flower pot with sand in it. These rooms are described as semi private balcony to sit out and enjoy the view and fresh air the problem was the rooms on both sides of us had cigarette smokers who were outside frequently and when they were their smoking forced us back into our room to avoid the second hand smoke. I saw these sand pots on another floor so moving would be a waste of time and we had a nice room and were settled in why should we have to move. A nice place but these issued should be considered,

This was our third consecutive stay at the Sea Crest, and it will not be our last! I don't know how the owners and staff continue to deliver such high quality for what you pay for. The location is excellent. The Beach is across the street. The Cove beach is about 2 blocks down the street. There is a comfort station across the street as well. You are a few blocks from the Washington Street Mall as well. The pool on the grounds is always CLEAN, as is the hot tub.
There are many places to eat within walking distance including Exit 0 being around the corner with live music every night. My wife and I stay here at least twice a year now and always enjoy ourselves. We just came back from a 9 day stay from September 5th threw the 14th. The staff always remembers what our favorite room is and they always manage to accommodate us. The Sea Crest is fairly priced, nicely maintained, with clean, nice-sized rooms. This place isn’t just clean; it’s like Brand New Clean! There is even a "Jitney" stop out front (when in service). Staff and management are top notch, and very Friendly.
Our room had a full kitchen, hairdryer in the bathroom and a T.V. in the living room and bedroom and a nice deck to sit out on. There is also a gas grille for guests to use if they want, and it is spotless. On the second floor there is a Laundromat , with irons and ironing boards, for your use which is great since we don't have to pack that much.People are always cleaning, or taking care of the grounds. The rooms are quiet and comfortable.
We can’t wait to get back there in October. Thank you Sea Crest for another wonderful vacation

Booked recent stay thru Booking.com, where I thought my husband & I were getting a room with at least a pool view. Our room was located on 2nd floor, in back with no view other than a make-shift garden/courtyard, with no direct access to from our so-called private balcony (more like a dog gait) Our Q bed was in a separate room where the one a/c unit was, which left the open living room/kitchenette uncomfortably warm & musty. We would have asked if there were any other rooms available, but we were able to deal with it for our 2 nights' stay. Booking.com also sent me a confirmation email to give me Early Check-In at no extra charge, but the management at Sea Crest said No, that they give guests free parking starting at 12pm, where they would then call guests by 3pm to let them know their room is ready. House Keeping didn't come to our room the next day, where we had to ask for fresh towels from the front desk. When House Keeping arrived some time AFTER 3pm, she apologized for being late and did only a quick 10 minute cleaning (if that long), and didn't provide new mini soaps or shampoo's. She asked us if we wanted vacuuming done, where we said, "No, it's ok, we're leaving tomorrow anyway". Queen mattress was way too hard, and no life left in any of the pillows. Long walk to center of town. Good qualities: Clean, nice pool/jacuzzi area with enough shade for those who can't be in the sun, laundry machines on 2nd floor, elevator, covered parking area.

Sea Crest Inn is in the perfect location at the southern end of Cape May.Its quite but convenient walking distance to everything.
The property is very well maintained. Our room was on the 4th floor and had beautiful sunrise views( from the separate bedroom) and awesome sunset views towards the lighthouse from the balcony. The room was newly remodeled and who doesnt love a full size fridge to keep everything cold when its 90 degrees out in August. Having the separate bedroom made it feel like you had rented a condo.
You park right under the hotel and use the elevators easily getting your luggage to your room. The staff were pleasant, polite and always working hard keeping the everything neat and clean. The pool area was the best.It was large with lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables. Its surround by great shrubs so you dont hear any street noise and they even give you towels to use poolside.
It was the best value for money spent of anywhere we have stayed in Cape May.We enjoyed it so much we booked for this year the week we came home.

We have been going to Cape May every July 4th weekend for 10 years and have always stayed at the Beach Shack. This year we decided not to go but changed our minds at the last minute. Unable to get a room at the Beach Shack or any other Cape Resorts room we decided to give the Sea Crest Inn a try. When we first walked into the room, we realized that we should have been staying here all along. The rooms are clean and larger than Beach Shack, it is closer to the Cove which is important to my husband as he is a surfer so can carry his surfboard. But most importantly is the customer service. My husband unfortunately had a bad bike accident on July 4th and we have to leave early. The manager was so kind to help me strap my husband's surfboard to the roof of the car. We had already paid for the room and was not expecting a refund, nor did we ask for one as it was not their fault we were leaving early. We were very surprised and appreciative when we got the final bill via email with a refund. A class act establishment and look forward to going back again

Hello Nadia, Thank you for the kind words. Helping out was the least we could do under the circumstances. Thankfully your husband was not more hurt in his mishap. Hopefully, he will be up biking and surfing soon. We appreciate you choosing us for this holiday and we look forward to hosting you in the "healed" future. We know Cape May offers many choices and we are glad you chose to stay with us.

The Sea Crest Inn is our only place to stay!! We went there for 10 nights June 1 to 11. We felt very safe from the virus....the hotel is very clean staff wore masks the whole time and there are hand sanitizers around the hotel. The staff is awesome. We booked already for Sept and next May we will make it 12 nights. What an escape from the way the world is today. We needed it. Hated to leave. Do not feel like you cannot go away in this corona time we were safe and had no worries.

I suggest calling the Sea Crest directly (609) 884-4561 to find out what "recessed Oceanfront" means. Our room was a King Deluxe (on the 3rd floor) that stated Oceanview in the room description. The staff at Sea Crest I am sure will be able to help you. They also offer mid-week Spring and Fall specials. ps the beach is directly across the street; one morning we saw a family of dolphins swimming in the ocean; best ever sight!
