I had a great mini vacation! Brenda was extremely helpful in letting us know where to find shops, places to eat, and other neat things about the area. Every time we saw her, she asked us how we were and did we need anything. The room and the entire Inn was immaculate from the time we came inside, throughout our stay (she was dusting/mopping the floor), and as we were departing! Thanks Brenda, for making our stay wonderful!

made it seem luxurious but the manager on duty made you feel like you were at a summer camp constantly making sure sure your follow every rule. made the stay feel uncomfortable because of the constant reminder of the rules. no mask worn upon arrival and totally felt unwelcomed for a very expensive price. not what we were expecting...

Response from Marty Riccio, Owner at Saltwater Inn

We do have a few policies in place such as "Quiet Hours" from 10pm to 9am to insure all of our guests get a good night sleep on our Tempurpedic mattresses. We are a non smoking facility and we ask that the guests keep the front door closed as they come and go. The front door has a key pad and we ask for it to stay closed so only guests have access to the Inn. These policies are in place in an effort to keep the atmosphere at the Inn peaceful, comfortable and safe for all our quests. I am sorry Saltwater Inn was not a good fit for your needs.

Just a pleasant two block walk to the beach. Beautiful Jersey shore neighborhood. Lots of hot summer fun on the beach and yet a cool relaxing "sit a while " on the big porch gives a good balance of fun and a restful get a way. Being an inn, gives a pleasant boutique experience that is very different from a typical hotel/motel visit. Something everyone should experience.

My husband always wanted to spend a few days at the beach. The Saltwater Inn was the perfect place to stay. Spotlessly clean, soothing seaside setting, seats on a spacious porch to relax and enjoy the sea breeze, so close to the beach (2 short blocks) and a gracious host. It's a Father's Day present my husband will definitely remember!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night. We drove in from PA early Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon. I can most definitely say that this place felt like home. Marty and his wife Joyce are a true blessing and they put so much work and love into their business. The room was absolutely beautiful and so clean. The front porch area was one of my favorites! They also had cool beach cruisers that you could ride around. We slept very comfortably with central air. It was also very quiet. The check in and out was very easy as well. The location is PRIME!!!! It’s only a few blocks from the beach. There’s also so many restaurants in walking distance. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone! We truly felt so relaxed and at home. Special thanks for a beautiful trip!
