Located just one block off Main Street and a short walk to the beach and marina the Tandem Bike Inn is perfectly situated for a restful and relaxing vacation. We feature eight newly renovated rooms all with private baths, all new beds, guest controlled air conditioning and heat, flat screen TVs with DVD players and free movie channels, free wireless internet, home made breakfast, afternoon tea, beach tags for all guests and much more. I came upon this place while looking for a place to spend the night after a retirement dinner in Belmar rather than make the drive home to north Jersey. What a great find. Rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. The owners were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The inn ended up being only a block and a half from the restaurant so I was able to walk back and forth. I would highly recommend this inn for anyone looking for a nice homey feeling. As a bonus for Bruce Springsteen fans it’s only a couple of doors from the corner of E Street and 10th Ave. 😎 Will definitely return if the occasion arises.

Having stayed at The Tandem Bike Inn before, our expectations were high and Mike and Anne Marie did not disappoint. It was not beach weather but their location was perfect for our family visit. It is just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Each time we have stayed there our accomodations were quiet and comfortable and very nice to return to at the end of the day. The common area on the main floor has comfortable seating by the fire place if you have time to sit and read or play a game. Tea and coffee are available any time in the dining room if you want to do late evening sessions. Mike and Anne Marie are attentive hosts, going beyond what might be expected. Of course breakfast was included and it was delicious and filling. Anne Marie even wrapped up some of the food we were too full to finish so we could enjoy it the rest of our busy day.…

We had a wonderful stay at the Tandem Bike Inn. Anne Marie and Mike were so welcoming and kind, and the inn is beautifully appointed. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are a foodie's delight, and the level and scenic area is ideal for taking one of the inn's bicycles out for a seaside spin.

We were in Belmar for a family wedding and loved our stay at the Tandem Bike inn. The owners, Mike and Ann Marie, were so accommodating and kind. It was very clean and comfortable. And breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend staying at this inn on your next visit to the Jersey Shore!

The Tandem Bike Inn out-ranks any other B & B we've ever visited. The accommodations were excellent. Rooms are spotless and well complemented. The breakfast were delicious and plentiful. The innkeepers, Anne Marie and Mike treated you like family but without any drama. They are friendly, helpful and excited to make your stay relaxing and fun. We could easily walk to some fine restaurants near the river. There were beach towels and beach blanket available to use. Easy parking as there was off the street parking on the property. We highly recommend this establishment. It is professionally run in every way. September is a wonderful time of year as the beaches are empty and restaurant seating is available.

We stayed at the Tandem Bike Inn at the recommendation of our son and daughter-in-law who had stayed there recently and raved about the great breakfasts that owners Anne Marie and Mike served. They weren’t exaggerating. The huge breakfasts and freshly baked afternoon cookies were amazing! Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. We especially liked the large walk-in shower in the attached bathroom. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the inn a 12. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I wanted to take a little getaway for our anniversary. Someone suggested the Tandem Bike Inn. After reading all of the rave reviews, we decided to take a chance. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. The place was immaculate and the breakfast that everyone raved about, lived up to the raves. Also, the owners could not have been more gracious. We will definitely stay at this b&b again.
