We were here for a weekend wedding that was held at the Inn. First, it's a great location- a nice little park across the street where you can explore the river and it's a 5 minute drive to several swimming holes on the same river....More
This place was perfect for a relaxing getaway. With multiple on property eateries and bars we did not get bored with what was offered to us. While there were multiple restraints down the street the menus we previewed made us return to the inns restaurants...More
This was my second time staying at the Woodstock Inn, and there were many changes that had been made-- all for the better (not that I hadn't loved it last time, too)! Last time I had stayed had been at the start of construction for...More
This inn is very charming. My sister-in-law and I booked the Moosilauka room. It is in the back of the house across the street from the inn and very quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing after an active morning. Breakfast is included...More
My son and I visit the White Mountains every year, but this was our first time staying at Woodstock Inn. The Inn is charming and well decorated in an antique style. We stayed in Tripoli, located on the third floor of the main house. It...More

The Flume is behind the Cascade Lodge. The entrance is off the porch. The Flume is the only room in the Sawyer with direct access to the porch, not to say that it's restricted to Flume guests. There are chairs on the porch and would be fine for porch-sitting, when the weather conditions allow. Noise from the room next door ? Unfortunately, yes. But then again, how thick should the walls be made to muffle the voices and activities of some ill mannered, discourteous guests. We have stayed in the Flume on several occasions, and only on this last stay did we experience the latter situation.
