The rooms are the largest hotel rooms in the Wolfeboro area, with refrigerator, toaster, microwave and efficiency kitchen. The beds are exquisitely comfortable. Each room is well insulated, as you hear no noise when you are inside your room. In addition, each room opens out the back , to the lovely Crescent Lake. A well-maintained beach allows for a refreshing swim in the Summer.

This business has been a part of Wolfeboro for a long time. I remember back when it was the Lake Motel (I think) because we spent our wedding night there in 2005. Now, the whole place has been completely demo'd and rebuilt as 3 two story buildings. The whole place looks and feels brand new with that 'new car' (new hotel?) smell. The room was immaculately clean. Dave the owner was frequently seen running all over the place asking if people needed anything, carrying linens to the laundry, and chatting with guests.

Very importantly, it's pet friendly. We brought our G Retriever with us and truly, this place is dog heaven. We were on the first floor, so by opening the back door you've got a huge and I mean huge grassy field, perfect for long toss fetch. He loved it. The location is great with a beach and small boat docks on Crescent Lake, and downtown Wolfeboro is easy walking distance.

We can't recommend this place more highly.

We stayed at the Inn for a wedding, and had a great time. The owner was so helpful and clearly cared about us as guests. I arrived a day after my my husband, and the owner had the extra key ready for me at check in. He also prioritized our friends’ rooms for cleaning so we could check in a little early. After the wedding, we enjoyed the lakefront space without bothering other guests! The location is also fantastic, walking distance to town but set far enough back from the main road that we didn’t hear any street noise.

Lake Crescent Lodge, built in 1914, is an iconic old National Park hotel located in one of the most beautiful settings on the Olympic Peninsula. So much in demand, it was rare treat to stay in the old lodge itself. I loved its spacious lounge with its massive fireplaces, woven rugs and period furniture, and its porch with lovely views of Lake Crescent and surrounding mountains. One could spend hours here reading a good book. We had a delicious dinner at the Lodge. Observing other diners, we asked for two salads, but opted to share one fish and chips, the one order was so big. There are a number of forest trails that fan out from the hotel, and a charming woodland creek walk. As much as I love it, I recommend the elderly or anyone with mobility issues to book one of the lovely little cottages facing the lake in lieu of staying in the old Lodge. First, one must go up two very steep wooden staircases with luggage to reach even the second floor. There are no elevators! Also, rooms in the Lodge share toilets and showers with others on the corridor. However, we did not know that there are only two toilet/showers for the entire floor! During our stay, one of them was out of order. Further, ours was the only room in the hotel that did not have its own sink, so do check when booking. Let’s just say we got up before dawn to make sure we could get to the bathroom.

The room was nice however NO MAID SERVICE. You have to put your dirty towels snd garbage outdoors. I attached a picture. They leave your clean ones by your outdoor door. When you are gone all day, they clean ones sit there all day outside. At one point we didn't get any clean towels and went to office to get some. Part owner Karen practically accused us of stealing them as she was sure she saw the clean ones by our door earlier. She then reiterated that there is no maid service. She is a very rude lady. When checking in, Dave had told us that bed linens would be changed every 4 days. On the 6th day, I said something to Karen and she said sorry about the miscommunication, hower there is no maid service. If staying for over a week, your floors don't get vacuumed, no clean linen or clean toilet. There was a kitchenette, however few utensils and no dish cloths to wash them if you happen to use it. I have to say, the girl Lindsay that works there is very pleasant. I would suggest that Karen stays out of the public eye and let Dave and Lindsay handle that part. When leaving, Karen couldn't even give us a proper receipt. The days were all wrong. Hope our business auditors will be ok with that.

My husband and I visited from 8/8/23-8/11/2023. The rooms are clean and the bedding very comfortable. The owner and staff are friendly and very accommodating especially when we decided to stay another night!
The view from the balcony overlooks the lake, a large grassy area (great for lawn games) and small beach. The Inn supplies beach chairs.
There's a delicious Irish Pub Restaurant at the end of the driveway of the Inn so you don't have to drive to a restaurant if you don't want to.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Highly recommended!

My cousin and his wife and my husband and I have gone to Wolfboro for the past three years. This was our first time staying at the Cresent Inn and Suites. We had a king size bed, full kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, and it was very clean and the mattress was comfortable. The property is meticulous and the lake and grounds are gorgeous. We relaxed out on the dock and had a wonderful weekend. We will stay again!!!

I stayed here with my little brother and although it may be a bit pricey, the perks of this hotel cannot be found anywhere else! We had our own private dock for boats and our own private beach. This hotel is very family friendly. My brother enjoyed waking up and running down to the beach to swim. Highly recommend bringing your own floaties, canoes, paddle board etc during your stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable! Every single room had a view of Crescent lake! Coffee was brewed in the lobby complimentary for guests. It was so refreshing to wake up, grab some coffee and enjoy the view. Owners Dave and Karen were so kind. Always ensured that we had everything we needed. Housekeeping staff were so polite, greeted us every morning. Beach towels were provided at the front desk. My favorite was sitting down by the beach and watching the sunset. It was beautiful and so relaxing. There’s a restaurant right next to the hotel called Morrisseys. Great place for a quick bite and ice cream! Overall, we had such a great experience and met so many nice guests who were also staying there. Definitely recommend staying here with your group of family and friends !

Fantastic location on Crescent Lake with a large lawn and private access to the lake. Large room with balcony and view. The bathroom is big and clean. The hosts (Dave and his wife) are friendly and helpful. Good local shopping (our tip for grocery shopping: Harvest Market on Center Street). Nearby attractions around Lake Winnipesaukee. The kitchen area could be a bit better equipped. A kettle would be beneficial. All in all we were very satisfied and can recommend this wonderful place to find relaxation and tranquility. Direct private access to Lake Crescent with large lawn is an absolute hit!

We have stayed here twice with our dog in the last month and have really enjoyed it. Everything is clean, kitchenette has just what we need, beds are comfortable and it is very quiet. The view of the water and lawn on the back side are wonderful! The owner/manager is very accommodating. We will definitely return.

This motel is dog friendly, inquire with owner about any additional costs. We had a lovely downstairs suite, which include a front and back door that leads to a beautiful common area down to the lake. Our visit was in January, and as we had the motel to ourselves, we were able to let Ranger run and play some frisbie on the back lawn as the ice was melted. Our room was clean and very comfortable and it was delightful to wake to to the views of the water from our dining table in the morning. Request a lower room for easy access with your pooch & enjoy the lakeside peace !!
