Fairly dated rooms, but clean and very comfortable beds. (old wall Air conditioner wasn't keeping up with the hot first day, we turned it off and opened the windows and slider.) The management was very accommodating, nice little beach and float on the lake. I also brought my boat and opted to rent a slip for the nights we stayed.... More

First off, Carol at the front desk is a sweet heart...this place is old school, when we arrived there was a note with a phone number to call her and she would come up and get us checked in. Check in was a breeze..now here were our pros and cons. If you are looking for a place to shower and... More

We needed a cottage for 2 nights. After an exhausting search of hotels and resorts, all requiring a weekly stay, I found this little gem. We had a motel room and it was by no means the Ritz and needs a face lift. BUT.... The room had a kitchenette which was well stocked, a screened in porch. A queen bed... More

what a fun family oriented place to stay...very clean and well kept. The owners are delightfull and willing to help with local information. We stayed in a motel kitchenette, but the cottages closer to the lake, looked great

This place totally takes me back to my younger years when my parents would pack us up and take us on vacation. The views are amazing and breeze from the lake really sets the mood. Your close enough to town yet just enough out to enjoy the trip to and from. The room was extremely well kept and the grounds... More

We rented Motel #7 through HomeAway. The owner responded to my inquiry right away and then we had a pleasant telephone conversation to confirm our rental dates. The unit is clean but could use some TLC....carpet needs a good shampoo, rusty shower curtain pole and peeling paint in the bathroom. We stayed for four nights and the unit had ample... More

Called to get info about rentals. Rate page listed daily rates after Sep 2, I wanted to go Sep 3+. Manager insisted it was a weekly rate. Pointed her to the Rates page, then she said $260 / nite. I said that's the summer rate, and asked if she's looking at the same thing that I was. Then she said,... More

I was just in Wolfeboro for my friend's wedding and had a room at the Piping Rock because that's where all of the other bridesmaids were staying. My boyfriend and I went to check in around 4:15 p.m. on Friday and no one was in the office to check us in. An envelope with my name and key was left... More

If you are looking for a plush hotel this is NOT the place. This is real cottage/lake living of times past. Flat screen TVs, great internet connections etc. are not part of this property, however, if you would like to wake up and have your coffee with a great lake view or kayak the bays, listen to the rain while...
