Detailed Reviews
This is a lovely historic B&B located in a beautiful country setting. The proprietors are warm and welcoming and we enjoyed their company. The stress from the city melted away as I took a step back in time. We felt quite relaxed, comfortable and pampered. The rooms are lovely with a jacuzzi tub. It was peaceful and quiet, we slept well. The next morning, we had an amazingly delicious breakfast before venturing out.
There is an Antique store steps from the B&B filled with treasures. We bought a dropleaf table we have been searching for that's all wood.
A pristine lake is walking distance away with beautiful trees and mountains as a backdrop. Railroad tracks coexist with the walking trail. Apparently, years ago, there was rail service around the lake. There are restrooms and showers conveniently located next to the lake making it a great place to have a picnic and spend the day at the beach.
Town is a 10-minute drive where there are shops and restaurants located on Lake Winnipesaukee. We listened to a band playing in a gazebo as we gazed out at the lake. And let's not forget the ice cream! Yum! A perfect summer evening.
On our next visit, we will visit more sites where there is a waterfall and where they make maple syrup the old fashion way, in buckets.

We spent 3 days in New Hampshire at 1810 House Bed & Breakfast. Richard and Jane are lovely hosts. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. We travelled with another couple and were able to socialize in the living room area each night. Richard cooked breakfast each morning which was not a small feat given 3 out of 4 of us had food restrictions. They were able to accommodate all of us! From this location we explored Kancamagus Hwy as well as beautiful lakes. If you are looking for a B&B, we highly recommend 1810 House!

We loved our stay at 1810 ! Richard and Jane are a helpful and lovely couple. The room spacious, the bed super comfortable.
We recommend the pancakes cooked thin with blueberries that that were the best ever, and the Eggs Benedict with perfect Hollandaise Sauce.

The coffee (including decaf) is fantastic, and the breakfasts are healthy, competently executed, and hearty enough to provide fuel for a day of hiking in the Whites...and the beds and rooms are comfortable enough to offer a really good nights' sleep after the hiking and sightseeing. The location is close enough to Wolfeboro center to be convenient, while not being so close as to partake of the noise and bustle. The location is a great jumping-off point for trips around the lake or up to the Kanc and Conway. The innkeeper is very friendly and knowledgeable about local activities. Would absolutely recommend this place for an action getaway or a romantic vacation!

If you searching for a place to stay in charming Wolfeboro, you need not search any longer. The top-rated 1810 House is the perfect B&B in which to enjoy your visit. Having stayed at the House in years past, I was looking forward to meeting the new owners; Jane and Richard were born to run a country bed and breakfast. They are so friendly, kind and eager to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. Jane is an amazing cook. The highlight of my day was looking through the breakfast menu for the following day. So many choices and each item was prepared to perfection. I've stayed in many inns, b&b's and hotels over the years and this is the first time I've had a First Aid kit placed in the room. Coincidentally, my husband got a nasty cut on his leg, and the kit saved the day! Having that First Aid kit in the room shows the level of care given by Jane and Richard.

We spent two nights at The 1810 House for some much needed R & R, and it was the perfect retreat! The Lake Wentworth Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It reflected the beauty of a bygone era without giving up any modern amenities. Richard and Jane were lovely hosts and very knowledgeable about Wolfeboro and the Lake Winnipesaukee area. After having Jane’s amazing farm breakfast (pancakes for me and Eggs Benedict for my husband), it would have been easy to curl up with a book there in the living room - it had such a welcoming tranquil atmosphere. Given that it was a beautiful day, we walked the Rail Trail into town. Richard gave us a lot of great tips of where to eat and how to explore Wolfeboro, (also offering their kayaks for boating on the lake). We left rejuvenated and well cared for. Looking forward to coming back next summer!

This was our second visit to the B&B, and it was every bit as nice. The rooms are beautiful, the beds super comfy. Having a hot tub in the room was so relaxing, and the gas stove was so nice to relax in front of with a glass of wine. Having breakfast choices is nice and the food is delish. Heidi is a fabulous hostess- she even got some wine out for us the evening we arrived so we could do a wine tasting and relax with a glass in the living room.
We were the only couple there this past week (and there are only 3 rooms at the B&B), but she has a plan in place to allow everyone to maintain proper social distancing for breakfast, and there are plenty of seating areas as well. We will definitely go again!

My husband and I spent two nights at the 1810 House Bed & Breakfast in September. The hosts, Richard and Jane were very welcoming and accommodating. They treated us like honored guests and we enjoyed getting to know them. The breakfast was superb and beyond our expectations. One favorite was the Eggs Benedict over corned beef hash. The entire B&B was very clean, decorative and well maintained. There is a sitting room with a library where one can relax and enjoy a good book. There is also a self serve area with coffee and tea, as well as a comfortable dining room. We stayed in the Lake Wentworth room on the first floor. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is also a gas fireplace if needed. We enjoyed going to the Antique Barn which had a large selection of items of interest from the past. The Inn also offers passes to a private beach nearby. We loved staying here and we highly recommend this B&B.

What a delightful place to stay. We were in town to visit family and this was the perfect place to stay during our visit. Ann and Richard are such friendly hosts, and the breakfasts were excellent, including Ann's homemade pumpkin bread. Our room and bed were so very comfortable and clean and roomy. The building is situated back from the road, so it was quiet as well. There was a pretty walking path across the street to the lake and the location was close to town. We also enjoyed feeding the goats and chickens out back. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit our family.

My husband and I got away for my birthday. We only stayed one night, but I wish we could’ve stayed longer and loved our room. The jacuzzi tub is awesome!
We were the only ones staying mid week, so we felt extra pampered and had an amazing breakfast made by Heidi. She was a great host and we will definitely be back!
