I arrived in a Sunday for a one week stay to begin a new work assignment in the area. I was anticipating a one bedroom suite with a full a full bathroom and opened the door to a studio with a shower only. That, however, wasn't why I wasn't able to stay. An alarm was going off in the unit... More

Had a lovely room overlooking Lake, with screened porch. Very clean with fridge and microwave. Quiet! Near shopping center, many lake opportunities. Good value. We would definitely stay there again. Situated on busy road but didn't really notice. There is also a hot tub but we didn't use it.

My husband and I, along with another couple, happened onto this hotel during Bike Week. Great location and good price. There are 12 cottages along with 30+ rooms. Each are privately owned and the on-site real estate company rents and maintains all units. Directly on the lake with a lovely view from each room and a community deck for everyone's... More

We stayed in the middle on the main floor. The room was gorgeous. Newly renovated and very clean. Very tastefully decorated. The kitchenette area was fully functional and served our needs for two weeks. Attached to the room is a screened in porch overlooking the lake. It has divider walls between you and your neighbor and it offered lots of... More

We stopped at the Lord Hampshire on impulse, and it was a complete surprise. We were looking for something clean and inexpensive for a few nights. We were taking care of some business in the area, and figured we only needed a clean bed to sleep in. Anything else was great but not required. Well, it was definitely clean. In... More

Our band stayed at the Lord Hampshire Motel (room 28A and 29A) and I thought it was fantastic. Yes, the rooms are a little dated and the pillows are flat, but it was clean, the staff was great, the bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. We did not see any bugs and did not have any problems. We... More

This was the most disgusting hotel, we were staying the weekend and when we got back at night there were bugs covering the wall and ceiling. I will never stay there again. We had to drive home at 1 am and the rest of the family slept in their car. The management is rude and claimed we were lying and... More

Had to leave the hotel in middle of the night due to overflow of insects. When brought to owners attention it was not handled with much care at all. Owner tried blaming us for the infestation of insects and refused refund. Whole weekend ruined due to conditions at the Lorde Hampshire.

This place could be a gem but lack of management really affects the overall experience. The rooms are average and equipped with a good sized fridge and also a microwave. The pillows are awful. If you enjoy a firm pillow, I suggest you bring your own. The grounds are well kept though there is not nearly enough seating down on... More

We reserved a king room with jacquzzi for Sun - Thurs of Columbus Day week. We needed to move our stay up by one day. When I finally received a reply that it would be done and confirmation would be sent by email there was no mentioned that we would be switched to a different room. Reservations were for same...
