Had a lovely time. Mike at the inn very responsive as were the owners. There for a wedding and unexpected heat wave. Was immediately offered fans but as our room on lower level very cool without. Thank you again! 👍👍👍
This Inn is so unique. Originally built in the late 1700. Has been added on several times over the years. It has a specialty of its own across the centuries. The bar and indoor pool are a real plus . Small quaint areas to be romantic yet large enough to hold a small wedding . Innkeeper Patrick is a delightful gentleman who is so helpful . It a very personable place . Breakfast room open and airy . Whether you are skiing at Rugged Mountain, visiting grandkids or just want a romantic weekend away this Inn can accommodate.
The Inn was quaint, cozy and comfortable! Patrick, the Innkeeper, was extremely friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. While we chose the Inn due proximity to family, the choice could not have been better one! We will return. The community has a hidden gem!!
Traveled over 3000 miles to visit family, originally chose this location due to proximity and reviews. So glad we did, Patrick immediately made us feel welcome and gave us a tour of the location. Stayed in the Library room which is in the 1790 farm house portion. Comfortably decorated, with creatively transformed with an attached bathroom with shower. Shower is RV shower sized, for a large person is a slight challenge, but the luxury bath products and shower heads, make it much easier to deal with. The breakfasts are not to be missed, Patrick is not only the Inn Keeper, he is professional gourmet chef. The location makes you feel your are truly secluded from crowds. The common areas were delightfully decorated and had self serve coffee, tea and hot cocoa available. Indoor pool, outdoor deck overlooking spacious grounds with pond. Pool table, ping pong table, and a TV for enjoyment. Currently only serving breakfast, Lunch and Dinner you have to go out to the local eateries which are 10-30 minute drives or you can have it delivered. After spending 5 nights there, Patrick felt more like family. Cannot wait to return.…
Don’t be worried when you see the unpaved road working it’s way to the entrance. You will be pleasantly surprised! Lots of activities including an indoor pool ( a bit on the chilly side) but we were able to exercise in it and warm up on the deck! We even had some great table tennis matches. It was very quiet and relaxing and enjoyed an after dinner cup of coffee in one of the many sitting areas. Drove a short distance to New London for both lunch (great pizza at Pizza Chef) and dinner at Peter Christian’s Tavern. Now a word about our luscious breakfast. Patrick, the Innkeeper Extraordinaire, was a delight and the breakfast menu for the next day was posted the day before! The sheets were very comfortable, however, the mattress might need a foam topper or a replacement as it was very bouncy. Just a suggestion! All in all, we had a delightful time. Highly Recommended’…
Incredibly charming inn, with a very nostalgic and local feel. Patrick was very welcoming and his cooked to order breakfast was delicious. The grounds are extensive and I enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the stars after swimming in the large indoor pool. The common areas are incredibly comfortable and I read a book for several hours on one of the couches enjoying the peace and quiet. My room was large (the library suite), with a comfy bed. Definitely would recommend this as an "experience" stay, and hope to come back in the winter during ski season to enjoy it again. Thanks Patrick!
We stopped for one night on our way to another destination. We wish we had a few more! The room (Kearsarge) was amazing, the grounds were beautiful, the breakfast was outstanding and the bed was a dream. Patrick and Tachel did a fantastic job making us feel incredibly welcome. We really want to go back and we just left!
Patrick is a lovely host at the New Hampshire Mountain Inn. Very accommodating, even allowed us to check in early. Overall we had a great experience with the New Hampshire Mountain Inn; staff was incredibly helpful and amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate our daughter's wedding weekend. Also Patrick works well with Racheal at Ragged Mountain Ski Resort. To make the wedding prefect. Thank you Barbara and Jim Ganley
Fantastic! room was comfortable & whole place is impeccably clean &beautifully decorated. grounds are perfectly maintained, pool a delight. Breakfasts, amazing. Only regret was that we could not stay longer this time, but will be back!
My husband and I stayed for a weekend before our seasonal campground opened. What a great place! Patrick the innkeeper was exceptional! Upon arrival he gave us a quick tour and wanted to make sure we felt welcomed. We stayed in room #1 - The Library. It was cozy with a four poster bed and a fireplace which was perfect as there was a nor’easter that day that brought snow to the region. The original part of the inn was built in 1790 and still has all of the colonial charm! It was a little quiet this weekend and Patrick really interacted with all of the guests. He was engaging and lively. He also recommended some great area restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was included with the room and was homemade - right down to the toast! Cannot wait to return! The inn is located very close to Ragged Mountain Resort for winter skiing. There are also hiking trails very nearby. The Northern Rail Trail is a stone’s throw away. This inn is perfect for all seasons!…
