After being home since March due to COVID-19, my family was ready for a mini getaway! We had visited The Mountain View Grand when my children were toddlers and remembered it fondly. With my teenagers in tow and a lot of hope for a safe, relaxing vacation, my husband I pulled into the majestic Mountain View Grand and knew we had made the right choice. The view from our King Suite was breathtaking and the beds were so much more comfortable than our own, I caught myself checking the type of mattress I was sleeping on... absolutely heavenly!! We ate dinner in the Harvest Tavern at night and the service was warm and meals hearty. My kids especially enjoyed the friendly, delicious room service for lunch and late night desserts, a hidden gem and priced right! The pool area is modest but comfortable, we were able to find an umbrella each day and have delicious drinks and snacks by the pool. The most important thing about our visit was the cleanliness of the resort. The room was spotless, common areas cleaned continuously. and masks were consistently enforced. This visit to The Mountain View Grand was exactly what my family needed!

We had a wonderful stay and escape from realty for a couple of nights and the Mountain Grand View. It is a beautiful hotel, and I’m really happy we decided to stay at this property. The room was small, but It fit our needs just fine. The view from the room was spectacular. I would recommend opting for a Mountain View room type so you can enjoy the scenery from your very own window. We ate in the restaurant for a few meals and also the bar. The clam chowder was one of the best that I’ve had. The chicken pot pie and NY sirloin were both delicious (steak was cooked perfectly). The drinks were always good - great selection of cocktails! I have to say that I did feel bad for the bartender this past Tuesday night. He was staffed alone. He was very friendly and on top of things but he had to run around like crazy. He should have had help/ get a raise! The hotel is lucky to have such a great employee working for them!) I would come back to this hotel again. Even though there was covid restrictions (like masks, etc.) I still felt safe. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations available as well. Overall a great experience. Thank you some great memories!

We decided to get out of our house and go on a little half week vacation. We wanted to make sure that the hotel was compliant with COVID-19 policies and protections and judging from their website, we felt good about going here. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. Rooms are very well kept and clean. Staff is very friendly and sticks to pandemic protocols. We felt very safe there. Restaurant and bar are both awesome and have great food at good prices. This place is highly recommended.

Gorgeous property with great views. Super friendly staff, especially Prim in Harvest restaurant. What an amazing lady! Had excellent dinner in 1865 Wine Cellar on property and Brittany was very nice and helped making our evening very special! However, rooms need some updating. Our room did not have a coffee maker and microwave would be a plus! We stayed about 5 weeks after hotel opened up after COVID-19 lock down and hotel administration and staff were doing the best they can to make customers feel comfortable. Overall, a great stay at a very nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again!

We just enjoyed a great family vacation with our 7 year old this past week. The resort has implemented changes due to COVID, and was making an effort to keep visitors safe. Hand sanitizer is readily available, guests are asked to wear masks inside the property. The spa, movie theatre and game room were closed during our visit, due to COVID. However, the outdoor pool, golf, mountain bikes, tennis courts, tavern bar, restaurants were all available. We enjoyed a couple days at the outdoor pool with lots of space. NOW is the time to go to enjoy the extra space!!! We did notice that the restaurant was not staffed as much as prior stays, so you do need to be patient waiting for your meal. However, the staff is just as friendly and welcoming as always, despite observing social distancing. The best part of the resort is the veranda with the most amazing views!!! We hope to visit again soon!
