I didn't have any reservation when I arrived at Weirs Beach, I stopped by the 1848 and lucky for me they had a cottage available. The host was very personable and friendly, and gave me some great recommendation on where I could go to eat and what to do in the area. The cottage was very clean and well supplied with everything I needed for my stay. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean but especially like the variety of pillows they had chosen some were soft and little more firm. I do believe that was well thought out. I had only intended to stay one night but the cottage made me feel right at home and very relaxed, so I extended my stay for one more night. I am looking forward to another stay in the near future and will recommend the 1848 to all of my friends traveling to Weirs Beach area.

1848 is operated by a wonderful couple Mark & Soraya whom went above & beyond daily to make sure our family had everything we needed or wanted. We rented Unit E11 for the entire week which was fantastic until my son ran a temperature so we cut our family vacation 2 days short unfortunately with COVID 19 did not want to take any risk but thankfully it was just strep we are already discussing our next trip back. Cannot wait my children really enjoyed the pool it was very clean! Thanks again Mark & Soraya We will be back!!

First off, what an awesome place! We booked again for next year the 3rd day we were there; 10 days next time, not just 7. Everything was super clean, the AC was ice cold, mattresses were all brand new, and the owners (DJ and Brooke) were ON THE BALL!! (My Shrek hands broke the shower head one morning, and before we were back from Dunks, DJ had already replaced it!) We booked 2 rooms for ourselves and our 2 daughters, and a cabin for my son and his girlfriend. Every room was amazing! And the owners were super chill; they told us “make yourselves at home, just please no smoking in the rooms”. Happy to oblige!! Seriously can not wait to go back and just relax!

Mark and Soroya are absolutely wonderful! We always feel like we are at home. This trip was only partially planned, due to health reasons. My son and his family had booked a room for the weekend they had a family emergency come up and could only one night,so my grandchildren and I took the other night. Our gracious hosts did not have a problem it at all. See if you can find this action any place else! My family and extended families have stayed here many times and really love the accommodations and hosts. They manage to keep the place in tip top condition. Mark and Soroya don't ever change, you are the true meaning of hospitality!😀

The owners Brooke and DJ were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating to whatever my granddaughter and I needed. We had a great time the 4 weeks we were here. Can't wait to come again next year. We just love the area. Been coming up here since I was 5.

Love this place! It's my favorite place to go "glamping"! Brook, Dj and Dillon, the owners, are always so pleasant and accommodating. Great location! Close to downtown Laconia and the beach, but far enough away that it's quiet. Thanks for another great get away! Love it here! ❤️

This place is amazing!!! The owners are fabulous they accommodate my husband and I with a trailer a big truck and a motorcycle during the busiest time for them... bike week... not to mention it was 100 anniversary. The room was recently updated looked great..

Great little cottage stay as a couple! Nice, clean and comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The location was great, walkable to Weirs beach, restaurants, and shops. Only a short drive to Bank of New Hampshire pavilion for a great concert experience. Will definitely recommend and will be back again!

It isn't fancy but the location is nice. We stayed in one of the cottages and while dated and small, it was clean and well kept. Great ac. Bathroom certainly large enough and beds were comfortable. This isn't fancy lodging, but it is clean and the grounds are well managed and quiet. Tv is small flat screen but matches the room and we werent on vacation to stay and watch tv anyway. We plan on coming back when in the area. Mark seemed quite invested in making our stay a pleasant one.

We just Love the 1848 Inn Dave, Mark and Soraya and staff are the best. You want for nothing very clean and quite when you rent the furthest back cabin if they do not have something they go above and beyond to accommodate. Bob Pothier and I (Lisa Dadiego) have been coming back for 3 Years now and we will go forever.... did I say I just Love 1848 Inn and that you can walk everywhere to downtown or do nothing and sit out front or enjoy the pool....
