This is the perfect lodge for the Special Olympics of NH Winter Games. Everything in the village is within walking distance. We have stayed in 8 different rooms over the years and each one was awesome! The higher rooms have better views, all rooms have everything to make a great get away. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

We had a chance to visit the Golden Eagle Lodge during NH Vacation and had a great time! We took advantage of the Kids Ski Free promotion the resort was holding. The kids had an awesome time. We had great fun at the indoor pool and could use the pool across the street as well. Our unit was spacious for...

We stayed at the Golden Eagle for my son's hockey tournament, and that's the only reason I would ever go there again. The location is convenient to the ice rink and the small town common area, however you pay a premium for these rooms during ski season. I have no problem paying a premium if I receive a good value....

I don't know if there's another location on the east coast where there's a planned community embedded in a national forest. The community has mixed accomodations, hotels, condo's, houses. The Golden Eagle is an extended stay hotel/condo with small, medium sized full functioning apartments suitable for 2-4 (or more) people. For me what makes the place great is that its...

Because of Hockey Tournaments, I've had the opportunity to visit Waterville three times. Two of these, including my most recent visit, I stayed in the Golden Eagle Lodge. The first time we were given a room that was shabbier than a college persons apartment. The furniture was ratty and just looked unclean. This time when we made the reservation we...

My friends got married here in September. We booked a suite in the Lodge, not really knowing what to expect as they are all owned individually. We were happily surprised with the accommodations! The place was clean, comfy and well furnished. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Delicious coffee and two fireplaces in lobby. Maid service was excellent. Clean comfortable rooms with full-size , fully stocked kitchen. Reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again.

I have given the Golden Eagle Lodge the test - great for families with young kids, couples, a group of energetic teens, and a 3 generation family reunion. The rooms are spacious, ary and sunlit. The front hall is majestic, with a welcoming fire in the fireplace during the winter, and welcome hot coffee in the morning all year long....

Unit was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The building is wonderfully well located within the Waterville valley Village -prime location for all activities. Only drawback: seems to cater to large loud groups as they are always present and make the common areas not very restful.
