The Inn at Valley Farms is exactly what we needed to get out of the hustle and bustle of NYC for a day. We arrived nearly at midnight but it was easy to get in and find our room. It was lovely to wake up to walk around the farm a bit. Breakfast was amazing. They really do have fresh cookies all the time. We were able to walk to the apple orchard across the way and even picked fresh flowers from the gardens on Valley Farms property. The house was lovely and we look forward to another city escape to NH soon!

We have actually stayed here several times and every time we love it. Everyone was so welcoming and there is so much to see and do in the area- the Inn at Valley Farms is a perfect base. On the farm, you can follow some trails, see some animals, help feeding chickens and turkeys or just kick back, enjoy the weather and watch the sunrise and set. On Thursdays they have movie night in the barn!!! Oh- and they have a store open a couple days a week! In the area there is a mountain lake(Surry), Bellows Falls shops and movie theater in the Opera house, train rides(in the summer they are out of Burlington about 2 hrs away but there is a fall/leaf peeper train about 35 mins). The Rockingham meeting house, a zillion old antique stores, local art and music, Walpole Creamery, Dairy barns, Keane main Street, Connecticut River. Alysons Orchard across the street. Our daughter was 4 on our first trip and 15 on this one- both times she had a blast. When she was little she just liked hanging around the farm, hiking and finding barn kitties and stray chickens to hug. She also picked and ate about 30lbs of apples across the street. As a teen, still roaming the farm, movie night and loved the thrift vintage and antique store shopping. Also, helped feed the chickens and turkeys. (Apple picking wasn't open yet this trip)

The tranquility of the Bellows cottage made it a perfect gathering spot for our family after a fulfilling but emotional day. We were free to walk the lovely, but unfussy grounds and then gather around the farmhouse setting of the kitchen table to reflect and relax.

This is our second stay at the Inn at Valley Farms. We were celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary, my birthday and my brother in law’s 70th birthday! Our stay was perfect as the first time. The Inn is lovely and welcoming as was our hostess Alisha. The breakfasts were a delight both in taste and presentation! Scrumptious homemade popovers with jams made on the farm, yogurt with fresh fruit and homemade granola, delicious farm raised bacon, fresh baked banana chocolate chip bread, local buttery croissants, egg, sausage and spinach frittata. Every entree was delicious! We love the area, playing golf at the hidden gem Hooper golf course was a treat. Lots to do and enjoy! The best part is getting to take home some of the Inn’s delicious farm made delectables home. They have a wonderful farm store where we bought bacon, jams, honey and grass fed beef and pork pork products that we can enjoy at home and make the experience last just a little bit longer! Thank you once again for making our celebrations memorable, relaxing and fun!

We had a family wedding at Allison's Orchard in early June and chose to stay at the inn. It was a lovely place on a beautiful weekend offering cloudless, sunny days.! The inn was immaculate and in a very peaceful setting. It is actually on a farm and offers picturesque views of this unforgettable part of New Hampshire. The breakfast was amazing each morning. I also loved using the sunroom in the afternoon to read and enjoy some quiet time during what turned out to be a busy weekend. And the staff is wonderful and will go to lengths to make your stay memorable.
