We stayed at the Tilton Inn for my sons wedding last weekend. Kathy and Alan could not have been more accommodating! Not only was the room (we stayed in the Charles E. Tilton Room) spacious and comfortable, but we had the rehearsal dinner in the Onions Pub. Can I say that they went beyond our expectations??? The food was fabulous,... More

We booked this last minute for hiking in the white mountains. Tilton itself is a bit of a dead loss, but this place is an absolute gem. The rooms all have individual character and are very quiet - even though the bar and restaurant downstairs can get quite busy. The wifi works well and the staff are really friendly and... More

We were excited to arrive at the inn, only to be deeply disappointed: upon entering the premises there was a musty smell, walking up to the room the carpets seemed dirty and worn, the room itself was less than quaint, dark and the bed too soft. The shower screen had mold at the bottom. Morning breakfast was very basic, with... More

The inn is lovely. Very quaint and clean. It is downtown Tilton so you can walk to the stores. The restuarant food was awesome. The staff very friendly. Worth a visit when in the lakes region of New Hampshire.

My wife and I decided to attend a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion at the last minute and couldn't find a room as most were booked up. I found one of the major sites were advertising a room for the Tilton Inn. I called instead of booking online. Allen answered the phone and they had one room left,... More

We are repeat guests. The Tilton Inn is awesome. After spending our days at the NASCAR races at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, we would come back to the inn, freshen up and eat downstairs in the Onions Pub and Restaurant on the first floor. (see my separate review under Onions Pub and Restaurant). We would site on the 2nd... More

The Tilton Inn has a great pub called "The Onion". One of the owners was our waitress as well as the hostess and the bartender. She was amazing! The pub got pretty busy, yet she had everyone served and happy! The food was excellent...The reuben sandwich was tasty and tender, served with steak fries and a pickle. Our appetizer was... More

I love this place. After visiting my daughter in Boston, I wanted to finally see New Hampshire and Vermont (I live near Chicago). I happened upon the town of Tilton, where a gas station attendant told me I could find lodging at a Holiday Inn Express. But when I drove through town, the inn caught my eye. I noticed it... More

Made reservations over the phone. Allen, the owner was so nice. When we got there, he upgraded out room. Also met Marge who helps in the office, and Rose, a worker there. Everyone was so nice, recommended sights to see and places to eat. The continental breakfast was very nice. Rooms were made up differently, very quiet. Great mattresses. Great... More

The Tilton Inn is very lovely. The Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely . Please keep in mind this is a HISTORIC INN so the rooms and bathrooms are on the Smaller side but very accommodating and comfortable. We stayed in the Lawrence room which is farther in the back so we didn't really... More
