We had an incredible weekend at Follansbee. We were able to have our entire bridal party and many close frieds stay all together at the Inn for the weekend of our wedding, and it was wonderful. Denis and his team made us feel so welcome. Most of our bridal party and friends traveled from out of town for our wedding, and it was so important that we have a central place where people could gather. Follansbee was perfect for that - both the living room in the Inn and spending time outside on the dock and the seating by the lake. My bridal party did our hair and makeup in one of the rooms. We also hosted folks for the our afterparty at the Inn. And of course, every morning we got to enjoy the wonderful breakfast (which accomodated vegetarians and gluten free). We truly can't thank Denis and everyone at Follansbee enough for helping us have a wonderful wedding weekend.

What a special place this is!! So charming, cozy and a throwback to gentler times. We stayed eight days, and wished we could have stayed longer!! The innkeeper, Denis, and his staff were very attentive and served the most fabulous breakfasts - different every day😋, and dogs 😇Angel and Gracie were also there to greet us. The porch and living room(s) and bar area provided a great space to gather and mingle, and we have a lot of nice memories hanging out there with other guests. There are also a lot of available activities a few steps from the Inn (on the lake)- with complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, bicycles, Hammock and lounge chairs. The rooms are all different, and although there are no televisions, we did not miss them at all. We can’t wait to return next year❤️

We absolutely love Follansbee: great location and scenery, in an interesting old inn with plenty of books, history, and guests who often wind up chatting on the porch or dock -- plus fantastic breakfasts and two very cute dogs.

Quiet, clean hospitable getaway place. Charming decor. Follansbee has a homey feeling that one does not find in a hotel setting. The ability to interact comfortably with other guests in the spacious ground-floor rooms allowed us to glean information about local attractions, as well as excellent restaurant recommendations. The elegant breakfast offerings are certainly a reason to return. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the Follansbee Ambassadors of Good Will Angel and Grace, two house pups who furnished us ample opportunities for hugs, belly rubs, and the sharing of an occasional tidbit that "accidentally" fell from our plates. I am never able to resist a place where family pets are an integral part of the experience!

Very much enjoyed our stay...was just as we had hoped. The breakfast was AMAZING! Best pull apart "monkey" bread I've ever had, oozing with syrup, cinnamon & pecans. Could have eaten the whole platter!! And the egg breakfast stromboli was perfect. Loved that they have bikes to ride around Kezar lake, or just hang at their lake front across the street. Big thumbs up for a perfect, relaxing getaway. Will definitely return. Thanks Dennis!

Another incredible visit to the Inn in mid August! Such a peaceful setting to share with my cousin, who is local but has not been to the Inn! Denis and his team, once again, provided excellent and friendly service. The evening on the porch and at the Lake were quiet and welcoming. The morning breakfast was amazing as always! We have been back to the Follansbee many times over the past years and will continue to visit again and again!

Clean, quiet and many amenities. Bowls of chocolates in the common areas, large assortment of barware, cooler for food or beverages, games and plenty of space. in doors and out. The dock had kayaks, which we used to paddle out to the island in Kezar Lake, plenty of seating for relaxing. Breakfasts were delicious home cooked meals and the dogs were friendly and adorable. We were given an unexpected upgrade to a lake view room, just out of Denis' generosity. You won't regret a stay at Follansbee Inn!

This is a fantastic place to stay. The breakfast is outstanding. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We were there during some warm weather. The lake was refreshing and you can always do a little kayaking or canoeing and enjoy the resident loons. We will return and highly recommend this Inn.

A gracious host, an incredible daily breakfast, amenities for every activity you can imagine! A fantastic lake view property with canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and helmets, a grill, and firepit! My daughters, husband and I have been three times now and we always find new things to do locally and at the inn. We already booked a trip during the holidays to try out snowshoeing and skiing locally too. For us, we book the family suite so my husband, kids and I have connected bedrooms and a bathroom. Even the soap is made locally! Truly a lovely property.

Stayed here two nights for a large Family Reunion and had the best experience! We booked the entire house and had lots to do. They have plenty of water activities and outdoor activities that everyone could enjoy. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! I especially enjoyed the blueberry waffles, so light and airy. The owner was kind and hospitable setting his place apart from others by having small conveniences such as make-up wipes in the rooms, feminine products in the restrooms, and bug spray and SPF by the front door. The rooms were beautiful and are all uniquely decorated. If I had to critique something it would be that there was a strange almost fish-like smell in the closet of the room we were staying in. We had turned off our AC and sometimes humidity brings out funny smells It went away as the night rolled in. But honestly... that's it! It was well worth every penny and then some!!!! All of us are already talking about when we are going to go back.
