This Wonderful Historic Inn is the perfect place if you want a relaxing stay. Located on Kezar Lake the views are amazing year round. We have now been there for 5 visits. Each time staying in a different one of the 17 guests room. All have been unique, filled with Antique Furnishings, elegant bedding ( Comfortable Mattresses) and an in room bath. Spacious common areas include a Wood burning, Fireplaced Living room with arm chairs, sofa and large cocktail table. A Bar area provides a place to keep your favorite beverages and food items cold. Glass bar ware, plates and utensils for guest use are found here. The Den has a gas fired freestanding fireplace, game closet and Information about the Inn and local points of interest. The large Dining Room has China at each place setting. There are tables of various sizes to keep everyone comfortable while they enjoy Denis’s amazing gourmet breakfast that is included. Served Buffet style, choose what you prefer from the daily, delicious offerings . During our stays, these have included, Blueberry Belgian waffles, Cheese Grits, Praline bacon, various Frittatas, Beignets …well, you get the idea! Don’t forget to get a glass of the Fresh Squeezed OJ! We have enjoyed the wraparound Porch and its comfortable sitting areas complete with swing. The Inn has a dock area with seating as well as kayaks and canoes for guests to use. The lake can be enjoyed for swimming, fishing or in colder weather, many winter activities. No matter the season, the Hospitality of the Innkeepers, Denis and Kendall, has made each of our stays memorable. We have enjoyed many an evening joining other guests for conversation about restaurants they tried and other topics in the living room. We rate this Inn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s

We have stayed at Follansbee Inn 5 times. The bedrooms and sitting rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. Denis' breakfast is the best, always delicious and unique. Also the 3 mile walk around Keyser Lake on country roads is fantastic. We will be back this winter.

What a sensational spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. The Inn was definitely five stars in atmosphere, food, and activities. Our host Dennis and staff were outstanding! We especially loved the delicious breakfasts and all the boating and biking opportunities. Perfect getaway at a perfect spot!

The inn’s motto is “the best of the past.” Innovative breakfasts and Dennis (owner) is a baking magician. The carpet on the stairs could do with an upgrade but that’s a minor complaint compared to the ambience, bikes and kayaks available, and camaraderie if breakfast.

The Inn is located in North Sutton NH on Keyser lake. First the breakfast is very good. We had the best French toast ever. Stuffed brioche. There were nice things both days we we were there. Bacon of course. A hot berry crumble, fancy omelet, potato galette. A lot of good stuff and options like yogurt, granola, etc. Orange juice, coffee, tea. The location is on a small lake. The Inn has kayaks, canes, paddle boards, and bicycles. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is very tranquil. The entire time we were there we kept (quietly) mentioning how quite it was. There is a walk around the lake lot of people seem to do regularly. We did it and it was very scenic and again quite/tranquil. Heard a couple loons on the lake. The plantings/gardens around the Inn are very nice. The hangers and pots on the porch have a lot of not-hardy plants that the owner must overwinter someplace. All in all a very nice and tranquil place to stay. Oh and the room was very nice.

First off, we enjoyed our stay at the Inn very much, the room(Celia) was big and the bed very comfortable. There were minor issues: a loud exhaust fan under our window early in the morning, a very tricky door lock and it was awkward to take a shower in that claw foot tub. Other than that, the common areas are special, there is coffee and water available all day and the breakfast is delicious. We also really liked that 3 mile walk around the lake on both days.

We had a wonderful stay at this special family-run inn offering one of the best breakfasts. The hosts are especially helpful, and the lake and area offer many activities. A walk around the lake is a treat. And it was lovely to interact with guests as well.

I really can't say enough good things about the Follansbee Inn. It was our second time there, and it definitely did not disappoint. We go to a lot of BandB's and I have to say this one is probably our favorite. The Inn is immaculate and so well kept. The flowers and gardens are beautiful. Every possible convenience is provided to make your stay special. We took advantage of the bicycles to ride around the lake, and we used one of their canoes to paddle out to Blueberry Island and ride up close to some loons. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful....Dennis is a good cook! But I think it's the attention to detail that really makes the place special. Little things like having an electrical strip on either side of the bed (we recently stayed at a place that had one plug behind the bed!) to having games that have all the pieces (we stayed at a very high-end expensive place that had more than one game with missing pieces). We certainly didn't mind the bowls full of candy, either! Thank you Dennis for another wonderful weekend!

We've come up to Follansbee each summer for a few years now. This year we stayed in the Bennett Room — definitely our favorite so far (although they've all been nice!). New London is a short drive up the road and has a few restaurants, cafes, etc. to check out. But honestly we spend most of our time at the inn. We love being right on the lake, and having items like paddle boards, kayaks, etc. available for use is so lovely. We also look forward to Denis' amazing breakfasts each morning, and cute side-eye looks from the dogs.
