This was our first trip to a B&B. Very quaint & rural setting. We stayed in the "Jean" room. It was nicely decorated (FYI each room is named, not numbered). The social areas were nicely appointed and comfortable to relax. To us, a rare feature was that there was no TV. It made having conversations easier, and we had several! WI FI made things easy to keep up with current events. Breakfast was tremendous and plentiful. Dennis is a superb chef! We found several nice restaurants nearby for lunch & dinner.

Room Tip: We peeked into several empty rooms. I don't think there is a bad one.

We just returned for a long weekend getaway to this quiet, serene inn nestled in the quiet residential area in Kezar Lake. The inn is historical and pristine. You are surrounded by art work, beautiful plants and fine antiques. If this is not enough the best is yet to come! The breakfasts are memorable and indescribable. I would state the breakfast is one of the best i have EVER had. Denis, inn keeper, is a perfect host and welcomes you readily. Fabulous experience.

My fiancé and I had the most lovely weekend at the Follansbee Inn...We went for long walks (the area is gorgeous), sat by the fire, played board games, enjoyed delicious breakfasts every morning, visited the Flying Goose Brewery, read our books and met some wonderful friends as well. Denis is the best host- relaxed, welcoming and kind. The dogs are adorable (Angel and Grace). I am sure this place is perfect all year but the fall was especially stunning. I can't say enough great things about the Follansbee Inn. It was the perfect weekend. P.S. The Innkeeper Denis is originally from New Orleans and his cooking is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Best grits, biscuits and hash we've ever had.

We spent three nights in the room named Jean. It was a corner room on the second floor and lake views from each of its four windows. The room is comfortable but very simple. There is no TV or mini-fridge so be prepared to unplug. There is wifi but it was temperamental. No food or drinks are allowed in the room, but there is a large cooler on the main floor in their bar area where guests can keep their items cool. Also a small ice machine is available. This is a beautiful location right on a very nice lake. They have a dock and small beach. Canoes, kayaks, and bicycles are free for guests to enjoy. Also plenty of seating available at the lake including beach chairs, wooden swing, and a hammock. All in all, a very nice relaxing stay and the amazing breakfasts were something to look forward to each day.
