Mike and Meri were very kind and made a great breakfast. The inn is dated in the 1800's and your surrounded by antiques. It's not a bad place to be on a cold winters nite if your looking for peace and quiet compared to other inns. The room was very clean and quiet.

We just got back home from a great 3 day trip to The Hilltop Inn, Sugarhill, New Hampshire. If you love dogs, woods, mountains and super friendly people thats the place to be. We had amazing experience at The Hilltop Inn, that we came to after searching internet for dog friendly inns...I honeslty can just say that my dog might... More

Our 4 night stay at the Hilltop Inn was a great way to end our holiday (from Scotland). Sugar Hill is an excellent centre for exploring the White Mountains and Mike and Meri, the welcoming and friendly hosts, were happy to advise about the best local walks to view the fall colours. They made us very welcome. We upgraded to... More

Great old farm house. Same owners for 31 years. Very hospitable, great breakfasts, very accommodating to your needs. Can't say enough good things about it. Mike and Meri made us feel right at home. Close to many beautiful New Hampshire sights.

Our room was very large and the kind bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely sitting area and a private bath. Bathroom was in need of some repair but very functional. This is a lovely area nestled in the mounts with wonderful quaint villages, shops and restaurants to explore. Our hosts we very accommodating with incredible breakfasts lots of... More

I just spent two nights here with a hiking group. We had a great stay, Meri and Mike are warm and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and had every amenity available which was appreciated. Meri's cooking was fabulous with very generous servings. Great cheese platter was offered as well as homemade cookies, wonderful generous touches. Meri is certainly a... More

My friend and I visited Sugar Hill and stayed here. I have to say that my friend dislikes anything about staying anywhere away from home . . . and this is the third time he's been back! The house is beautiful--the rooms are gorgeous, clean and comfortable, and hosts Mike and Meri make you feel at home immediately. Plus the... More

Stayed three nights at the Hilltop Inn, and it was spectacular. /the ambiance was just wonderful, as the Inn is full of a wonderful art collection and antiques. The owners Michael and Mary were the most gracious hosts, anticipating our every request. We shall return!

What a gem this place is! The beautiful furnishings and the eclectic art and collections give you something new to discover each time you look. We loved to just sit with a glass of wine on either the front porch or spacious deck to read or just watch the amazing array of birds and chipmunks that came to the feeders.... More

In May, my boyfriend and I wanted to get away for the weekend Since he stayed at the Hilltop Inn previously, we decided to head there. It was the perfect choice. Mike and Meri are charming hosts who make you feel like you are staying in a home away from home, providing not only great breakfasts, but also good conversation... More
