Went here for my mom's birthday. Glad we did, the food was fantastic. The Inn is still full of charm; just as it was when it was the Spiral Staircase! The staff were great, our waitress was amazing and helpful. Mom started with the Bruschetta ; she and dad said hers was better. I suggest melting the cheese as it... More

We were very pleased with our room, wonderful food, and genuine hospitality. You really can't beat the freshly prepared breakfast that is included in price. It is located in an historic district with beautiful old buildings. The hosts were very accommodating. We hope to return for another stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Inn and had dinner in their restaurant. They only have six rooms so there is no "front desk" when you walk in. We talked to the restaurant hostess and she took care of us. We stayed in the David Copp room on the second floor with a nice private bath and a couple... More

Very nice, clean, comfortable and spacious room. No TV in any of the rooms, was tough to get used to , although there was a small game/reading area we used to play checkers and uno. Quiet area, not much to do unless you drive a bit further away. Food was OK, dinner very salty, breakfast omelets were good, french toast... More

What a beautiful family owned Bed and Breakfast Inn, Dinner and breakfast were delicious and gluten free. The view was amazing at sunset. The rooms were clean and beds were extremely comfortable. All updated but still very quaint Historical Landmark. What a gem. Thank you

Stayed at the Wakefield Inn. Stayed in the Sanborn Room for two nights. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The stay included breakfast each morning. I will say all went well and each breakfast was delicious.

We have lived in the area for many years and we had yet to try the Wakefield Inn for dinner. We made a reservation and arrived on time. We were the first in the dinning room and seated at a pleasant table by a wood stove. The place was warm and cozy. We gave our drink and food order at... More

Our stay was a stopover on our way to North Conway. We stayed in the Sanborn room which was nicely furnished and has a gas firelog in the fireplace which was a plus. The negative from the fireplace is the voices that came from the central fireplace in the restaurant downstairs. Since they stop at 9PM it is not a... More
