We stayed one night in the Tibbits Room. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the scenery was beautiful. Good food, too! (I especially loved breakfast!) It's a small inn, with an informal, relaxed feeling (in the best way, and still professional!) It felt like the owners had invited us into their home.... More

Stayed here for just one night getaway. Checked in around 6 and room was very cozy and comfy. Innkeeper let us know how long they would be serving dinner, so we had time to shower and clean up from a busy work day. They have jazz music from local musicians on Sunday nights, which is a pleasant treat and adds... More

Breakfast was excellent (great omelettes) and good evening meal, although my wife thought it odd that her food was served on cold plates. The room was, however, below the standard of other similarly-priced places we stayed in over 3 weeks in New England. Impression is that the focus is on the restaurant (it seems very popular with locals) and teh... More

This is small jewel nested in NH's country side. A more than century old building beautifully kept and perfectly suited to be a B&B. We were received by the owner, a very charming lady, who took us around the different room. She patiently took the time to answer every question that the two girls in our party had about the... My husband and I stayed here for our third time and we love it. It is so relaxing and the innkeepers are so nice. The best parts of staying here is the very tasty breakfast (it is awesome!) and the lovely spacious rooms. It's so relaxing and we are so glad to be back. It's a perfect weekend get away... More

The inn needs maintenance and everything looked a little tired. The area rugs in our room weren't vacuumed and we ran out of toilet paper. The restaurant had only the most basic wine and beer to choose from and the food was average. I've stayed in much nicer places for the same price.

We had heard it was expensive; not so. Almost all entrees were <$25 and most below $20 ... and worth it. The eggplant rotinni special was excellent. The seafood special in a cream sauce was wonderful and the seafood risotto excellent. Both included good size pieces of lobster. Puddle chocolate pie was excellent but did not live up to the... Although the service was good and the portions HUGE, the prime rib was tough and the side dishes were just okay. Also, why they served baked squash and potatoes is beyond my understanding. In my opinion, it would have been better if they offered a green vegetable in addition to squash OR potatoes. Btw, the prime rib was supposedly 12... More
