This place is amazing! So many amenities. Beautiful area and grounds. The indoor pool is beautiful with plenty of seating. Definitely family-oriented. Staff are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back soon with the family this summer!
We were given a free weekend as prospective buyers. It was my wife, my son and I as well as our 8-month-old. I had knee surgery a year and a half ago so for my review keep that in mind. We were given a one-bedroom, room 39A. My biggest problem was the way the rooms are laid out. First, you go up two flights of stairs ( no elevators anyplace ) then down the hallway into the door leading to the joint rooms A, B from there I needed to go down another 4 steps to my door and then down another small winding set of stairs. The size of the steps were small, each of the steps on the corner barely big enough for 1/4 of my foot. Then to go to the pool, up all those stairs again, and then up another two flights of stairs and then down another 2 flights of stairs and you're at the pool. By the end of just the first night, my knee was on fire. The large pool house itself was nice, my son is 6 and he enjoyed going down the water slide at least a 100 times. The views are incredible, I am not a golfer but the course looked well maintained. We tried the restaurant for lunch, it could just have been bad timing on our part for the service as a wedding started as we were ordering, and throngs of people showed up, the service was very slow and I thought the food was mediocre at best and the prices quite high ( chicken finger basket, 1/2 a grilled cheese and tomato soup, and the kids cheese pizza, one soda, one water, and a white milk came to $48 ) The resort itself is in need of repairs badly, at the very least almost everything is in need of several coats of paint, broken windows are repairs vs being replaced ( so odd who affixes a fresh pane of glass over the still broken and shattered one) rotting boards everyplace. two of the chairs on my patio were broken ( like clearly visibility broken) For myself, the stairs alone were enough to forgo any thoughts of buying a timeshare here, at 46 years old my knee isn't a fine wine and will only be getting worse with age not better. They should make it more clear that really good mobility is a must at this resort.…
Staff very accommodating and friendly. Older and newer parts of the resort....would need to explore where on the resort you would want to stay. Clean and very well maintained. Indoor and outdoor pools as well as hot tubs....nice.
beautiful view and grounds but suite could have been nicer. i was given an older suite rather than the new one that was shown to me when i bought in to steele hill. sound proofing was poor. suite in need of maintenance
