First time visiting New Hampshire. Beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit. Most campers here are seasonal and are a close knit group. Very friendly and welcoming. This park has great potential. It just needs some TLC
Friendly management, super clean restrooms and showers, heated pool well maintained as a great alternative when Baker River low, spacious sites, sizable number of seasonals...to me, this indicates that the campground is quality. Riverbrook is well-situated to visit interesting places like the polar caves, Squam Lake and the town of Plymouth with all its charm end great restaurants.
This was our first visit to this campground. The location is convenient, the reservation process by phone was easy, and check-in was also easy. The site was perfect for our RV, and we had an enjoyable time, exploring the area. The pool looked inviting, and being on the Baker River would be great on a hot day! We will definitely be back the next tme we camp in this area. Thank you!
Overall we loved this campground. It was very clean and surprisingly quiet for bike week. The owners were great, they even deliver firewood! Really convenient and great experience. The only reason it’s not a 5/5 has nothing to do with them but the layout… the sites are wide open, we prefer more trees and more privacy. There are some trees that have been planted so it appears they are trying to make that a reality. 100% recommend.
Most RV sites are very close together, but there is an enormous open field behind the lodge to enjoy (as well as a brook). What looks like a rail trail is just behind the lodge. There are only 4 (rather expensive) tensites there. The lodge is great, with 24-hour restrooms/showers on one side, game room on the other, and a small camp store. The owner is very friendly.
We had a pull thru site with hookups. We had an enjoyable stay. The park was clean and well kept. There was some nice areas to walk behind the office and the owner/manager was very nice. They offered trash pickup all day and firewood and propane delivery too.
My husband and I have stayed at this campground a number of times when we have attended the Boogie and Blues in Thornton, NH. We didn't attend the Boogie this year, but decided to still make the camping trip. In the past we always stayed an extra day to enjoy the pool and for a down day. It's always been relatively quiet there and not a whole lot of people. Not the experience this time around. A lot of very BIG rigs. We had them all around us. I was very disappointed that there is no mention of quiet time in the paperwork given out. The neighbors on one side were up every morning at 6:30 with their two dogs and very loud wife and outside near our bed area. They would be outside at their outside kitchen! At night they liked to watch political TV on their very large outdoor TV. There are no trees to buffer some of the noise. I was extremely frustrated, not getting my required sleep, and can't understand how some people can be so inconsiderate. Needless to say, I was extremely happy to leave there and come home. There isn't a lot to do in that area, so it became boring, especially with the rainy weather. Not sure we will camp there again. There are new owners and they were very nice.…
The campground is clean and friendly. We had a really good time there. We walked the paths and enjoyed the quiet. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We did not have to go out of our way to level our camper, it is so nice not to have to use blocks to prop up one side of the camper.
Extremely pleasant campground sites level decent sized a little bit of double standard as far as mats concerned perfectly stated yo not put mats on grass but two campers came in and put 20’ mats on grass and one night kids running around being very loud at 12 when it stated quiet time from 10pm-7 am. Other than that I would definitely return to this campground, not sure conditions of bathrooms as did not use nor visit the store workers were very pleasant and helpful
What a dust pit. Ants everywhere, no grass, all dirt. no rugs down which made it even worst. everything go into the camper. Horrible WE understand you are very new owners. If you want repeat customers everything should be changed. We will never come back.
