We were so pleased to find The Inn at Strawbery Banke and Innkeeper, Sally. The Inn is ideally situated in downtown Portsmouth with shopping, dining, the Strawbery Banke Museum, and the waterfront all very nearby. It is a lovely historic building that has all the modern amenities needed for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed a room with a queen bed,...

The location is amazing, easy walk to everything. The breakfast food was OK. not great. Service at breakfast was fabulous. We were there during a heat wave. It even reached 100 degrees when we were there. It wasn't quite as cool at night as I would like, but that was probably a factor of the weather. Wish they would have...

This little Inn was a great find. Comfortable bed, reasonable price and we anticipate a delicious full breakfast. Inn keeper greeted us and had pre cooled our room as it was stifling hot. Our room was perfect. This is not the "W" chain of hotels. This is a quaint country Inn/ B & B. Location is unbeatable. Walk to all...

The Inn at Strawberry Banke is a wonderful historic building. If you want a modern place with all the amenities don't stay here. if you want a place with the flavor and charm of Portsmouth 100+ years ago, this is the place. Excellent location to walk all of the waterfront and downtown area, and next to the Strawberry Banke Museum....

Located just a few blocks from the harbor, the Inn at Strawberry Bank was a quaint, romantic place to spend the night last September. It is within easy walking distance from the Strawberry Bank Museum. We enjoyed touring the city and Albacore Submarine museum. Our room at the Inn was lovely and they served a very nice breakfast in the...

Once again we loved staying @ the Inn @ Strawbery Bank, Sally, the innkeeper is so warm & hospitable and the Inn is so close to downtown! We parked there and walked everywhere for the weekend! The rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was wonderful and Sally even had coffee ready early for us before our walk! Great place...

As a Portsmouth native, recently I spent time as a tourist, in my hometown and because I wanted to be within walking distance of the town center I c hose the Inn at Strawberry Bank. My room was comfortable, also the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was great, one day fresh blueberrie pancakes, the next day an egg breakfast with...

While the furniture may not be antique, the room was extremely comfortable, and the host couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was fantastic. The location couldn't be better, just a couple of blocks from downtown, the waterfront, and Strawbery Banke Museum.

The Inn is right next to Strawbery Banke and within walking distance of downtown and the waterfront. Granted, the building is old, the furnishings are not upscale and the bathrooms are tiny, but the inn keeper does her best to make sure your needs are satisfied...need ice and glasses @ 10 PM, she's there, ask for a hair dryer in...

Stayed one night in October. Room musty and furnishings of boot/yard sale quality. No access to any refreshments in room, how much does a coffee maker cost?? Even if in communal area. Great location but seriously overpriced.
