We were a party of five visiting from the UK. We stayed in late September and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lake Shore Farm. On arrival, the reception area seemed a bit dingy and possibly less than you would expect. Get past that though, and experience the friendliness and easy-going atmosphere the place offers and you will love it....

Well to start off... this place is not the greatest if you are looking for an up to date or close to an up to date living quarters. If you want cheap and no frills(no nothing) stay here. As soon as you open the front door of the main entrance there is a smell of ("Mooff"), dampness, basement stench. The...

Three words: Clean, rustic, and friendly! The setting is quiet and rural and right on a beautiful lake with access to their kayaks! Even walking down the road was a treat, and only one car went by in 30 minutes! Homemade breakfast and great coffee is included. Thank you Rick and Michelle for treating me like an old friend.

After losing our way getting there (route 107 north is NOT the road opposite rt 107 south as we found to our cost!), as we were the only people staying that night, we were given a King size bed, in an old-fashioned, but perfectly serviceable room. The breakfast was adequate, but I found it sad that in the midst of...

Though it is an old farmhouse inn, the owners are making updates. We booked a room last minute and requested a room with air conditioning. We did receive one... on the 3rd floor. Being an old farmhouse inn, the walls are thin and the rooms are of various configurations. This is a true old farmhouse experience, there are no tv's...

We arrived to an empty office where we had to telephone the innkeeper to check us in. At that time we should have left rather than call to have saved us a very uncomfortable night's stay; unfortunately, we didn't know that at the time and we were tired having been on the road all day. The wing our room was...

We spent one night here just for it's convenience as to our plans that night. The Inn is well dated including NO TV or even a clock, it's more of $60-70 room as compared to the $130 we spent for the night. The owner did offer us a refund after we checked out the room and he did move us...

The owners: You couldn't ask for nicer folks! Location: Beautiful rural NH with a 3 minute walk to the lake There is an older section to this Inn that is more charming than the newer addition.
