This was an amazing inn to stay at! When we arrived the staff made sure to santize everything we touched and we were going to touch: even paper. Then we went into our room which was spotless and extremely clean, everything was in order and there wasn’t a speck of dust. For breakfast when there were too many people it was by reservation but sometimes you could just come and eat. The tables were clean and apart and they made sure it was only used once or sanitized perfectly after every use. Everything on the menu was great (especially the waffles) and they made sure you liked what you had all of the time. The staff was intuitive and kind towards all of the customers and made sure that most of their facilities were open and safe to use. My only reamarks are that they could have added a bit more elements to the breakfast menu, for we stayed there for a week and were longing for change. Like I said before, we stayed there for a week, and the floor and other parts of the room started to get a bit dirty but none of the staff or cleaning crew really asked if we wanted a vacuum or some cleaning tools for our room which could use improvement. Finally they didn’t really inforce the use of masks while inside the inn: some people freely walked without a mask and weren’t called out which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. All in all this was a great experience and we highly recommend Cranmore Inn for people who want a quiet and nice stay with a pool and kind staff ( and great breakfast).
We’ll surely come back again.

Just spent 5 nights with my husband. We stayed at carriage house B. Rooms were spotless and roomy. Location was very convenient to everything town offers. A few suggestions I would make mind you it’s just my own personal thoughts. The noise level was quite disturbing, apparently housekeeper lives next door and we had to to call to ask if noise can be stopped, surprisingly for the rest of evening it was lowered however was quite loud last 2 evenings here. There is a dog that also lives in one of the apartments that barked incessantly at times. We are dog lovers and have 2 but it was quite loud and ongoing. So perhaps a noise machine or more insulation is needed between apartments. Walking from apartment to main house for breakfast on a lot that is very slippery, icy can be a fall risk ,not sure why a path was not paved. Lastly, breakfast was hot and served with a smile just very surprised that maple syrup was not available, even if there was a surcharge. In any event we been coming to the valley for the past 15 years, always enjoy hiking and skiing here as well as meeting the locals. We just don’t think we will stay at this particular establishment.

We stayed here for our last snowboarding trip of the year. We normally stay at another inn down the street but decided to switch it up since we wanted an outside hot tub and the included breakfast was an added plus.

We had a room on the second floor toward the front of the inn. It was very clean and suited us well overall. The only 'issues' I had was the bed is pretty hard, there is not many hooks to hang things (however we did get some more hangers), and the street is quite busy so it can be a little noisy from the road. Sunday morning it was quite noisy from all the rooms around us as well. We could CLEARLY hear some morning adult bedroom activity from the room directly across from us. Overall the noise didn't bother us too much since noise can be typical in an old inn and most days/nights it wasn't that noticeable but became more so once the inn was full on Saturday night and the traffic increased on the weekend. Next time I would consider staying in a room facing the back.

Other than those small things I couldn't nitpick too much. The Inn Keepers are great and the rest of the property is nice as well. Location is about as good as it gets (except being located on a busy street corner). For those that are concerned, the COVID precautions in place were more than I have seen elsewhere.

Breakfast was very tasty, it just might not fill up those with a big appetite but it was nice to have included.

Hot tub was great as well, just needed to sign up for your 25 min block beforehand which was never a problem.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely look to stay again for our annual trip to the area.

We arrived on Friday afternoon and Innkeeper Jessica welcomed us and gave us a tour of the premises. Hubby and I both slept well on the comfortable king bed. There was a good variety of selections on the breakfast menu and we both enjoyed our choices (raisin bread french toast & plain waffle) Score extra points for warmed REAL maple syrup! Covid precautions are in lace and extra care is evident in the dining room.
Chris, the innkeeper/owner made a point of introducing himself as I'm bringing a group of artists for a 3 night stay in May.
The Inn is beautifully appointed and everything just exudes serenity. It's also within walking dustance of several restaurants and shopping in downtown North Conway. I look forward to my return in May!

No room service, no housekeeping, no phones, sink didn’t drain, not even a hairdryer unless you went to the office and asked for one.. masks required. Variable, low water pressure. Battery‘s dead in remote for fireplace. Bottled water available if you want to pay $1.50 for a bottle of Aquafina. Pool closed and hot tub by reservation..Was told to leave dirty towels in a plastic bag outside the door for pick up, but were not picked up. All this for $570.45 per night! Not a great experience at all and will never stay here again.

We arrived at the inn after an all day trip of several waterfalls near by. The front desk lady was very friendly and welcoming (I completely forgot her name). Our room has nice touches very modern and a great double shower. Breakfast was served by one of the owners very friendly, nice selections of food all made to order. Beautiful Inn with great historic details mixed with modern looks. The grounds and pool area are well kept, nice place to relax after a long day of site seen.
Inn is located right in the center of town within walking distance of shops and restaurants, but set off on quiet street.
Very happy with our stay, will be back in the fall.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Cranmore inn for a few nights. Respecting Covid precautions, we had no problem showing our vaccination cards and having our temperature taken. However, the rest of our stay was not so welcoming. Temperature was in the 90s which is unusual for this location.
Not one bottle of complementary water. However, bottles were available for $1.50 each. That’s some mark up.
No refrigerator in the room. I was told if I wanted ice I needed to ask at the front desk. First night around 8 PM, I had to call to get a glass of ice since no one was at the front desk. No problem. second night I called earlier for the ice. The last Night I saw the host around 4 PM. He brought me my Ice at that time which of course immediately melted in the 90° heat without a refrigerator. I knew he wanted to get that task completed.
At breakfast, “do you have a coffee dispenser?” NO, host had to pour it for me. “May I pour my own cream? “ “NO, I must pour it for you”. Drip, drip, drip.
Pancakes at breakfast- blueberry or chocolate chip. “ May I have a blueberry chocolate chip pancake?” You can guess the answer - NO.
My neck was killing me so I wanted to get a massage. I asked the host if he knew of a nearby massage therapist. Of course, his answer was NO. I went on Google and found a great massage therapist two houses away.
The location of the B&B is fantastic. We could walk to the golf course and into town. However, I never felt welcome there. I don’t think the host’s personality is a good fit for this type of job.
We are on a three month car trip and have stayed in many different locations. We certainly understand and respect Covid precautions.

Stayed here for one night as a couples getaway and were very impressed. We had a king room with an outdoor entrance. Its a charming little place and well maintained. The room was fresh and immaculately clean. It was really all we needed for a night away. We had a porch off the back of the room. We had to reserve the hot tub, which was fine. The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We'd ordered chocolate covered strawberries for the room and they were hand dipped and amazing. The location is fantastic - one block from downtown, but still nice and quiet. The only negative for me was that the bed wasn't very comfortable so neither of us slept well. I thought the rate was a bit high, but it is North Conway, so I guess that's to be expected. The COVID protocols in place were noticeable and much appreciated.

As Canadians driving into N Conway on a holiday weekend (didn't know about Columbus Day) and peak fall foliage colours we were scrambing to find a place to stay. Everything was booked but Cranmore indicated vacancy. We stopped by and they had one king room left. It was about $475! Not sure what the going rates are like today in hotels but this was steep by our calculation. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very nice! The Inn had lots of common rooms on the main level. Our room was above the check in area and on the street. The street is like the Talladega Raceway at times so if you are a light sleeper that may bother you. It is a busy road as people use that area of roads to bypass the busy main street. The bathroom was all that you would need and was ensuite (just in case you were wondering) The TV was small and an older version. The remote was held together by tape. With a king in the room, a small round table and two chairs the room was crowded but everything in the room was necessary. I would recommend that for the money that they could pay closer attention to detail in the small things. What they focused on I think was done well but taking time to view it from the client experience would serve them well. I guess I would expect more for the money even if those were inflated prices due to the holiday.

Cranmore Inn is perfectly located in town, so no need to drive to restaurants, historic train, etc. The inn is very clean, bed was comfy, bathroom fine, There was a very noisy room air conditioner, though. One innkeeper took us around when we arrived to show us our room and explain the "policies". The breakfast tasted very good and was well organized. While we appreciated most of the "policies" in place, some were a little too much. We could not check in even 15 minutes before the designated time of 3 pm and had to be out by 10 am. Breakfast time must be scheduled between 8 and 9:30, The selections are limited to one entree (no waffle with an egg), condiments must be chosen ahead (one or two sugars, specific number of butter patties, etc.). Most of the staff was friendly but a few were very business like, rather than welcoming.Overall I would still recommend the inn.
