Just spent 5 nights with my husband. We stayed at carriage house B. Rooms were spotless and roomy. Location was very convenient to everything town offers. A few suggestions I would make mind you it’s just my own personal thoughts. The noise level was quite disturbing, apparently housekeeper lives next door and we had to to call to ask if noise can be stopped, surprisingly for the rest of evening it was lowered however was quite loud last 2 evenings here. There is a dog that also lives in one of the apartments that barked incessantly at times. We are dog lovers and have 2 but it was quite loud and ongoing. So perhaps a noise machine or more insulation is needed between apartments. Walking from apartment to main house for breakfast on a lot that is very slippery, icy can be a fall risk ,not sure why a path was not paved. Lastly, breakfast was hot and served with a smile just very surprised that maple syrup was not available, even if there was a surcharge. In any event we been coming to the valley for the past 15 years, always enjoy hiking and skiing here as well as meeting the locals. We just don’t think we will stay at this particular establishment.

From start to finish, all was wonderful. Cheery greetings at the start...roomy room with gas fireplace, Great mattress on the king bed, then a daybed in the tv area. Loads of hot water: excellent shower. Two very quiet and comfortable "common rooms," all spiffed up for the holidays. Very clean/spotless everywhere!. Breakfast was well-thought out, well-prepared, and well-served ... by a very cheery waitstaff. Location: right in the absolute heart of North Conway, on a quiet road, but the main street, the railway station, and countless shops and eating establishment of every nature ...all were only a few moments away: we parked the car upon arrival, and didn't use it again till we left! This well-placed historic inn should be your first choice in North Conway! :)

We had a short but lovely stay at the Inn. The team was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed having the living room space for our almost 2 year old to explore and play. With hotels you just have your room but here there are 2 living room areas which are really nice. Breakfast was really good as well. Very close to cafes and shops which was very nice. We definitely will stay again if you this way.

To me, the Cranmore is perfect. I've stayed there every winter for the past several years, about to go back in couple weeks. I'm summarizing past winters as I prepare to go, I want to make sure people know how special this is. It's so cozy: common living rooms/study are perfect, warm and comfortable. Fireplace relaxing, there's snacks, books/pillows, the innkeepers are so warm/nice and accommodating. The rooms- depends on what you're looking for. Some rooms I've loved, others were just OK, overall value/quality are easily 5 star level. I once had a room with a "private entrance" it's advertised as- that's true but you have to walk through the snow/cold to get to breakfast or living room (for me not worth it, but otherwise maybe it is). The rooms don't get totally dark, pillows/mattress are probably just OK, but folks: it's not a 5 star luxury hotel in Manhattan. It's a warm and cozy bed and breakfast, these reviews here that bash them- you have to get your priorities in order. It's in North Conway, location is everything, and this is PERFECT. Breakfast is just fine, it's nice that it's even included and they aim to please in every regards. So overall, for a bed/breakfast in a charming new England town, this place is best of the best. Warm/cozy, super kind, rooms clean/spotless, this is the best bed/breakfast I've probably ever been to. in North Conway, once year I paid more than double for a house I found on AirBnB, and the Cranmore was FAR better. So believe me, this place is a gem.
