I was expecting more from this hotel after reading the glowing reviews. It wasn't terrible but I'd say it was pretty meh. Room was clean and recently updated but for $290 per night I would expect daily housekeeping. The public spaces are seriously depressing and in desperate need of a redo. We took one look at the Tavern hoping to have an easy dinner on our first night and ran the other way. Dark and depressing. The days we were there were very hot and the a/c was not adequate in the lobby or restaurant which gave the place a musty unpleasant smell. The restaurant decor is stuck in the 90's and pretty sad despite the view. The staff is friendly and did their best but the food is lackluster. Can't say I would recommend or go back.
It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed. The setting, the surrounding mountains, the beautiful golf course. The room was great, the food esculent, and the service was outstanding. We sat on some Adirondack chairs outside in the evening just viewing the mountains and beautiful flowers. It was spectacular!
We really enjoyed our time here. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. The guest pantry is an AWESOME idea! Rooms are roomy and comfortable. Flowers are beautiful and so is the golf course. We tried to make an appt for a massage but were told no appointments were available. Overall, a great experience and recommend over staying in the busy town of N Conway.
We love this place so much, we stay for a weekend every 6-8 weeks. It is our favorite place to get away from our 4 teenagers and 3 dogs and just relax and be alone as a couple. Having an outdoor pool that’s open year-round in New England is quite rare. The golf course is great with incredible views of the mountains and lovely homes. The coffee station on each floor is awesome!! Every hotel should have that. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It’s in a neighborhood of custom homes that we love to walk in every morning. We walk at least 3 miles each day! We park our car and it doesn’t move until we have to go home. We stay on sight for our whole visit! When we pull up the driveway, we always say, “We’re back, our home away from home!” K. Mitchell
Beautiful place! kids enjoyed the pool, s’mores, hot chocolate, ping pong, jacuzzi, arcade and chess! Resort had a pantry room on every floor with complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and fruit. Can’t wait to be back in November!
This resort made the entire vacation. Our last trip to NH we stayed at the Hilton suites and really is no comparison. We ended up spending more than half our time at the resort each day. We spent hours in the pool / hot tub and sitting around the firepit. They have s’mores kits you can purchase at the front desk. You get a full sit down breakfast included w your stay every morning and it was delicious. My kids loved staying here. They ran around outside finding baby frogs. We used the gym area and it had a good selection of weight machines and cardio equipment. There’s also a full golf course if that’s your thing, tennis courts and basketball. Staying here MADE the trip. I will definitely be returning, it was an amazing time and our family made truly lasting memories.
Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the beautiful golf course and swimming pool. Had a nice dinner and breakfast at the Ledges. Lots to do on site for families and couples, while enjoying the nearby hiking and tourist attractions in North Conway.
A comfortable and clean and welcoming facility with nice amenities. The lobby armchairs need some reupholstering. The outside ashtray should be moved away from the entrance so the guests will be required to smoke several feet away from the entrance.
We had a wonderful time everything at this hotel is top shelf. And the staff and rooms are amazing. The golf course is awesome. The food selections are amazing and the food. They made our stay so wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and kind.
On a road trip round New England and this hotel was a treat for us. Had two rooms booked. Had asked for adjoining which we didn’t get but they were next to each other. Rooms are small. There were three of us in one room (mother, teenager and 6 year old). No space for a rollaway bed so mum shared with 6 yr old. Tight on space for the three suitcases to be in room with us. Husband and son in next door room found it cramped for them (perhaps if only a couple in the room second bed is used for suitcases to be on as floor space is tight!) No facilities in room for tea/ coffee etc this hotel Has pantries on each floor where there is a machine for coffee, hot chocs etc and taps which provide a range of water. Nice but in the morning before people see me I like a coffee so tricky! Shower was amazing! Cleaning Staff offered more shampoo etc as limited housekeeping undertaken. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is a joke!!! At check in we had to book time slots for breakfast for our stay. Nothing available except in the 7am hour bracket or until 10am bracket!!! Given slips of paper with times on for our days. Queued for breakfast each morning as one staff took people to seats and chatted away to them. One morning we waited for 45 minutes to be seated for breakfast!!!! Ridiculous system which really lets the place down. Swimming pool awesome and clean, with towels supplied. Loved the location, the views, the experience was fabulous…… Would go back again…
