Nice place, very clean. Everything was spotless and roomy. Fireplace did not work but it was an extra. Close to mount sunapee and skied one day at okemo. Area is very nice. Two large bedrooms, nice view, easy access, did not use any of on in house services, room above was pretty noise late at night, there should be a curfew, small kitchen no oven but everything else. we were there to ski and the conditions were very good at both mountains, ate at the pub across the street very good and ate at the pizza palace very good. very relaxing weekend and very convenient to all locations. easy access to all the areas. staff was very good,
We've been owners at Mountain Edge for several years but this was our first stay here in a few years. It's great that we can just contact the owner by email to make a reservation and he always takes care of us. We stayed for a week in a two bedroom - there were only two of us but we wanted the bigger unit since we knew we were going to be just hanging out for the most of the week that we were there. We enjoyed doing puzzles and crafts on the big dining room table. The fireplace made it nice and cozy since it was cold and snowy. Dinner at the Mountain Spirits tavern was both delicious and reasonable. The Salt Hill Shanty across the street is always one of our favorites and this time we also discovered a great restaurant just down the road called Suna. It was a perfect escape, quiet, secluded and safe - just what we were looking for during the pandemic.…
Lovely property. Was upgraded to 2 bedroom- very accommodating. The front desk was also very helpful with all inquiries. Very close to the Mountain base and the beaches. Many things closed because of Covid- but must be wonderful in "Normal" times. I will definitely return in the future
The Mountain Edge Resort is lovely! This was our second stay there. The location is great and the unit is well appointed. Although the unit is billed as a 1 bedroom that sleeps 4, it is bigger than one might expect. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom for one couple, and also a full size bed in a separate room for the other two people. The second bedroom doesn't have a door, so apparently the unit doesn't qualify as a two bedroom. But, it feels much nicer and bigger than most 1 bedroom units that sleep 4 (by using a pull out couch in the living room.) The location of the Mountain Edge Resort is very close to both the public beach on Lake Sunapee and the ski resort, Mount Sunapee. The area is beautiful all four seasons of the year. Also, the staff at the resort are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to the Mountain Edge Resort again!…
We stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom which was clean but the rugs need to be replaced as they are a bit torn on the edges and outdated. The balconies need some cleaning attention. I would not consider this a resort as the property is very small and not much to do but there is a beach down the road which isn't too far but walking with kids would be a bit much. I thought 279 plus tax a night was a bit pricey with nothing going on but was told this was a good deal for the area 🤔. It was relaxing and enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony.
