Short trip from Boston, much needed time to unwind. Front desk was very welcoming, great room. Place was very clean and staff was very friendly. Chris took very good care of our party (of 6) in the lounge. They operated like "WE" were the most important to their operation, not many hotels do that. All Covid-19 rules were in place. Very Historic Hotel, been to many and they really do take care of this place. I would say that the hotel this past weekend ( 11/20/2020-11/22/2020) was about 60% full. Would love to go back in the spring...great job Wentworth by the Sea. See ya soon.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Great restaurant. But it stops there: 1) The front desk staff was less than pleasant so that set the tone 2) The rooms are not sound proof (just heard a neighbor say Yeeha! next door while writing this review) 3) the HVAC unit in the room registered 79db on my iPhone app while it runs (starts and stops all night) 4) No cleaning of the room during a two night stay 5) When asking the front desk about any of these things, they just say to come back at another time

What a beautiful hotel, overlooking a marina. The staff is very nice, we felt safe during these pandemic times. The pool is very nice and well maintained. All the COVID protocole was in place. The restaurant was great as well, good food, nice breakfast and great cocktails too at the bar.A must

We booked a 3 night stay at The Wentworth to celebrate our 30th anniversary. This was not our first Covid hotel stay so we knew and fully expected it would not be the same under normal circumstances. At $400 a night, there were a few things we would not have expected. Our room overlooked a roof, there was a dirty sock from a previous guest left on the floor, and 2 of the 3 lightbulbs over the bathroom sink were out leaving us wondering how well the room had really been serviced. On 2 mornings there were workers walking on the roof right outside our windows. Guests are informed there are no daily housekeeping services yet a housekeeper entered our room without bothering to knock first. We did not complain and were not planning on leaving any review until today. We purchased Wentworth champagne flutes at the gift shop as a memento to use on our actual anniversary at which time we discovered one of them was defective and had a pinhole in it. Had none of the above happened, I would not have called for a replacement and this was the final straw that prompted this review. I was told a new one would be sent only after shipping the defective one back at my cost which I questioned on principal only. The cost is totally irrelevant. I expected a little more of an apology and better customer service overall. This is what I was told: “We are just like any other business and we will only ship a new one after you ship the defective one back”. Dear Wentworth, let me be clear – you are NOT like any other business. You are in the hospitality business. You are a category 7 Marriott Hotel. If you want to treat your guests like “any other business” then perhaps you should consider becoming a Motel 6.

This was an amazing hotel. There is such a great history about this hotel that I found online. The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean. Comfortable surroundings with a great restaurant. The location could not be beat. Located near the water and marina. Jason, Pattie and Sarah in the restaurant were awesome. We ended up extending our stay an additional night. Close to downtown and all the attractions. Highly, highly recommend.
