The Tuckernuck Inn is excellent accommodation with welcoming and friendly hosts. Set in a lovely quiet location. Our room was cute, clean and comfortable. The coffee is excellent and the homemade sweet treats delicious. Breakfast was tasty, and the breakfast room delightful. The Inn is a short walk to the town centre which has a choice of eateries. We only stayed one night on our travels across New England; we wish it had been longer. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.
We loved our stay at the Tuckerneck Inn! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Tom who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He gave us some tips on various places to eat, sites to see, and suggestions on things to do during our visit. The rooms were comfortable and the location can't be beat. The two breakfasts we had were delicious with a variety of options to start our days off with a great meal. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer as there was so much we wanted to do!
Whenever we are in the Meredith/Lake Winnipesaukee area, we always stay at the Tuckernuck Bed & Breakfast with our recent stay last week being our third time here. Our hosts, Tom and Annmarie are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Wonderful breakfasts each morning with complimentary coffee, water and soft drinks available day or night. Highly recommended B&B.
We were up in the lakes region for a car show in the Ossipee mountains, and stayed at the Tuckernuck. We were welcomed warmly from Tom when we arrived. The property is well-loved and cared for, and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast we delicious. Annmarie is lovely and her homemade cookies in the afternoon were an unexpected sweet treat that we appreciated as we were out and about. Bed was comfy and it was super quiet. Just perfect! Thank you Tom and Annmarie.
We’re a young (mid 20s) couple who wanted an affordable but nice place to stay while in NH. We had no idea we’d be in for such a wonderful, memorable stay here. The owners were thoughtful and helpful without being intrusive at all, and took time to help us find fun things to do in the area. Freshly baked cookies for each guest upon arrival. The breakfasts were so delicious and above and beyond what I’d expect at any B&B. It was clean, comfortable, and adorable. Walking distance from town and a public beach. I’d rather stay here than a fancy hotel any day. The added fall and Halloween decorations were a great touch:) Cannot wait to return and recommend to all our friends.
We stayed at the Tuckernuck while in the area attending a wedding and the owners were BEYOND kind to us. Not only was the B&B very clean, cozy, and centrally located, but they went out of their way to help us. The owner drove us to our car because we missed our shuttle and it was the type of kindness and hospitality you just don't see often. We are SO glad we stayed with them and will definitely be back again. Such a great find!
This bed and breakfast was amazing. You can tell that the owners genuinely love running the place and it shows. The food was incredible and the rooms were spotless. Defiantly worth the price considering it was less than half the price of nearby hotels. Highly recommend.
The Tuckernuck is located on a well-kept property with a pleasant sitting area and easy parking. The common areas of the Inn are well-maintained and inviting. The breakfasts were excellent and we especially enjoyed the 24 hour access to complimentary coffee, tea, soft drinks and bottled water. The daily home baked cookies were a nice touch. Tom, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and functionally sound with a comfortable bed and ample pillows and blankets. Located in Meredith, the Inn is close to many attractions and recreational possibilities.
We had a great stay to celebrate our anniversary! The inn has an appealing historical charm, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was walking distance to the center of town and the waterfront area. The hosts, Annmarie and Tom, were excellent - very welcoming. They provided tons of information on things to do, places to eat, local history, etc. The plated 3-course breakfasts were wonderful and were a great start to each day. We especially enjoyed Annmarie's chocolate chip scones and Tom's banana bread. We were very happy we chose to stay here and would high recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in Meredith.
Great, quiet location a few mins walk into the wonderful town of Meredith and Lake Winnipesaukee. Tom was a friendly and welcoming host and very knowledgeable about the local area. Ann-Marie's home cooked breakfasts were first class and set us up nicely for some superb hiking and other plentiful activities in the lakes region. Our room was comfortable, cosy and traditionally furnished. Meredith offers some traditional pubs and restaurants to cater for all tastes. We especially enjoyed the vibe and location of the Town Docks bar/restaurant. We didn't want to leave!
