Very Clean, Comfortable and Convenient Slopeside Lodging
My family just spent a weekend in a studio room at the Mountain Club. We had 2 murphy beds (one adult and one child on each bed), and we were all relieved to find the beds very comfortable. Even when both beds were laid out, there was enough room to walk around and we still had one couch available. We were on the top floor and the room was extremely quiet. We could not even hear other guests in the hallway. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated that the breakfast buffet opened early and was well-organized and had a good selection of tasty foods. The ski lockers were very convenient and there was a comfortable sitting area and a bathroom outside the locker area. Walking out of the ski locker area, we were just a very short glide on our skis down to the Seven Brothers Triple or the gondola. All of the staff we encountered were extremely cheerful and helpful. This is a great place to stay at Loon Mountain!

    Fabulous
We stayed two nights in July and from the moment I checked in it was clear I made the right choice for our getaway. Edward at the front desk made me feel as if I were the only guest at the resort. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the resort as well as the area in Lincoln. Our room was not available at check in but Edward searched for a room that was available for us. He described it as his favorite room as it offered a gorgeous view of the mountains and pool. The king suite was spacious, clean and the view was amazing. I can be very particular about where I stay with my family when we travel but especially during these challenging times. I often times bring my own cleaning products to a hotel and did for this trip as well. I was very impressed with how well the room was cleaned and prepared for our visit. Our boys used the outdoor pool immediately. The pool is a great size with chairs and tables set out for us to enjoy. The Mountain Club asked that we call ahead to the wellness center to confirm space at the pool prior to visiting. We used the pool several times and each time there wasn't a delay at all with getting right outside. The staff and guests were all wearing masks which I appreciated. We ate all of our meals onsite and were quite pleased with the kids eat free program. In addition, we were provided with a $25 voucher to be used in the restaurant as well as a reminder that our reservation also allowed for two free breakfasts daily. We all enjoyed our meals very much. In addition, we were offered free vouchers to ride the gondola to the top of Loon Mountain. I have never seen a view as spectacular. The servers in the Black Diamond Pub were great as well. We visited Clark's Trading Post while we were in Lincoln and were surprised by the number of visitors who did not wear masks. The sun shined both of the days that we were in Lincoln which was fabulous. At checkout I was glad to be able to chat briefly with Edward from my arrival and thanked him for a fabulous time and that will indeed be returning soon!

Outstanding - The Mountain Club on Loon
I have worked in the hospitality business for over 25 years and can confidently say this place has their act together. The GM Jeff is a true professional. The entire team is a reflection of him and truly engages and cares about their guests. We interacted with many team members on all different shifts..everyone was outstanding! The breakfast is perfect, the room accomodations are spacious and extremely clean, parking is so close to your room, the pool / spa is wonderful and the ski on / off is flawless - can't beat it! Being able to stay slopeside at a high quality Resort and Mountain is priceless! This is a can't miss Resort and we are looking forward to returning! Having worked for the same hotel company for so long I'm afforded great discounts but I'm paying to go back here. Kudos to the entire team at the Mountain Club on Loon - amazing experience!

Requested quiet room for our anniversary and we were given one over the front office and parking lot out front. Lots of car doors slamming at 7AM. Also breakfast was included but horrible and could not eat it. Did not use our 2nd voucher for free breakfast the next day. Food in dining room was excellent.

We stayed here through Blue Green vacation. The location is beautiful. The room we stayed in was so outdated it just didn't seem clean. If they would just update the rooms this place would be 5 stars. The ac was very dirty they really should clean the filter. The counter and stove buttons were dirty when we arrived. Also they had no internet for a little which I know is not their fault. The hair dryer handle was sticky no matter how many times I tried to wipe it down. There was no body wash just two shampoos.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The people were all nice and service good. Loved the bar tender though we did not even drink. I will say the place was very clean which is nice to see. I would recommend it. The one thing we did not like was the noise from all the air conditioners. We had a nice balcony but could not sit on it as our neighbors air conditioner was too loud.

The weather was frightful, but the Mountain Club on Loon was delightful. I can't say enough about the great service and amenities at the Mountain Club. From our greeting at the front desk, to our great room and fabulous meals at the Black Diamond (Chris is awesome) , Mr. McIver and his team were spot on. With the weather in the Northeast this spring/early summer being rainy, it was very nice to have covered parking and everything connected inside, no need to get wet when using the inside amenities such as the indoor pool, spa and dining. We were able to spend time out at the outside pool that has a spectacular view of Loon Mountain. We went for a quick 2day getaway and we took advantage of the Rise & Dine package which included a 3 course meal for two and daily breakfast for the 2 of us, plus a Spa Certificate that my wife used to get a manicure. The package was very reasonably priced and we consider it a great deal. I would highly recommend a stay at the Mountain Club on Loon

Nice resort and beautiful area but the beds were horrible. My husband and I both had trouble sleeping and woke up with back pain due to the horrible mattresses on the “Murphy beds” in a studio room. The kitchenette was great- had all the supplies and was very clean. The bathroom and the room were nice and clean. We enjoyed both pools, the hot tub, and walking around the property. We left a night early due to bad weather and horrible mattresses.

Ed, the manager, is a beyond amazing customer service guru. He made our stay at the Loon a great experience, from his initial greeting at check to problem solving when we had a room issue. He worked quickly with us and helped to ensure that we had a great stay.

I hosted 45 customers and employees at Loon on February 09, 2023. The Loon Mountain staff was fantastic as I rented out Boyles Breakhouse for the day. Mike our host and bartender was fantastic. Unfortunately the Mountain Club had Andover Insurance events at the hotel and closed the ONLY restaurant and bar in the hotel so they could cater to that group, leaving our 45 people to have to go off site to eat. This was not why we chose Loon. We wanted to stay on-site. After spending 10k this was very disappointing. I also had a dinner credit and breakfast credit with my room which could not be used due to the Mountain Club having Andover take over the facilities. These types of groups should be hosted in a function room, not the only restaurant and bar at the hotel. In my 30 years of hosting events, I have only experienced this here at the Mountain Club.

Response from Jeff McIver, Owner at The Mountain Club on Loon
Responded Feb 18, 2023
Good afternoon, Thank you for joining us at The Mountain Club and Loon Mountain. Sorry and very surprised to read your comments. Yes, we had a large group with us but had planned for our other guests to use other dining options such Seasons Restaurant or The Green House for their dining needs. We were not made aware of any other group staying with us, especially one of 45 people. I personally was around the entrance to our Pub to assist our "non-group" guest into our other dining areas, there was no need for you to depart the property as we planned for all our guests to dine with us. If you wish, please contact me directly to rectify this in any way possible. Thank you, Jeff McIver

My husband and I came here for dinner, and everything was terrific. Until the barstool, I was sitting on started to come apart.  I got up and started to trade out the broke stool for another, but then realized that stool was broken as well. Can someone tell the Mountain Club the 80’s called and would like their furniture back? Good luck competing with those new resorts down the street

Being disabled is hard enough but being disabled and losing your husband right before the holidays is even harder. I depended on this organization when I gave them my money to an advance to accommodate myself, my dogs and my children during this difficult time after handling a terrible tragic accident. See not only was I not allowed to stay there with my child who also has disabilities with our Service animals, I was asked to make another accommodation for us and prove it to them in order for my children to ski and stay during the holidays. This was a hardship for my child myself and our dogs especially since I made my original reservation I made prior to my visit. I will never visit, recommend or feel safe with anyone staying at this place and I don’t recommend anybody with disabilities go here ever again as well because not only was this behavior from their staff but it was approved by the management team after I was pleading in tears!

After an initial issue with the original room, we settled into our short trip. The room offers river views (behind it is the road, but noise overshadowed mostly by the river). Hallway noise was at a minimum. The hotel has some amenities that are better than comparable other hotels (not just compared to the local area). Pool, hot tub (with great sunrise/sunset views/sky). Dinner and bar have a very good variety. Breakfast above standard (comparable) with good eggs/roasted potatoes, sausage/bacon/bread/yogurt/cinnamon roll/coffee. They also have a great little shop inside the hotel with everything needed (sweater, toothbrush, drinks, snack bar etc), and everything is more or less at cost. Parking is in a garage, safe against the weather. There is also a spa in the hotel, with a full line of high end beauty products, and massage room. A shoutout to Scott, licensed massage therapist, who was absolutely great!! The service team throughout the hotel was very friendly and supportive. We went hiking up Mt. Washington. The distance to the cog railway was about 45 minutes. I would consider staying at this hotel again!
