We spent a long weekend in Lincoln and stayed at The Mountain Club at Loon. We had a great stay despite all the rain. The pool and spa were great and I even went into the hot tub in the rain! The staff were all wonderful. Highly recommend!

Had not been to the Mountain club in some years. Was a go to earlier in my life when I was able to downhill ski prior to a knee replacement. Thought I could take a trip in late fall to enjoy some of the late foliage and enjoy a stay here. Unfortunatlly an unexpected crowd of people due to 4 or 5 bus groups caused a takeover of the food service and clearly the staff had difficulty handling the crowd. Miscommunication between front desk and bar . No food available from noon till 5pm with no advanced notice. Decided to eat off site which was not my plan when I chose to stay here.... Hotel was tired and not as nice as remembered. Would elsewhere next time for a stay in the region

This place looks lovely from outside. The inside is dated, which I don’t mind because I like retro. What wasn’t so hot was the freezer that can’t freeze water when I tried to make my own ice-and I let the water in there overnight. The thermostat doesn’t actually let you change the temperature. The shower was lukewarm at best. The balcony has a nice view but the floor is mushy and should be replaced before someone goes through it. Our room had 2 fold out beds. This is great for me as I like sleeping on a sofa. My 76 year old mother is in agony and will be for the rest of the trip. The others on the trip are saying they have Murphy or sofa beds as well, so no point trying for another room. The room is definitely big enough that one of these beds could be a real bed. The fridge is apartment sized so if it worked that would be excellent. There is also a stove and microwave as well. I didn’t try them so I can’t speak to that. There’s a kitchen sink which is nice because you can wash your face while your travel partner is in the teensy bathroom. All in all this is great if you’re a 20 something who hasn’t been to nice resorts and who is young enough to be able to sleep anywhere. If you’re over 30….give it a pass. I’m sure that some can even be convinced that lukewarm showers are good for the environment. But for half the price you can get a place elsewhere that has a mini suite and working freezer and hot water. The view here is lovely from the balcony, so if you are a fan of a good view then you will probably have one. I don’t sit in my room long enough to worry with the views. This place has a lot of potential, and I’m sure in the 1980s it was fabulous. I understand that some of this is a time share. If I were a time share owner I would be livid at the state of things like mushy balcony floors and freezers that don’t freeze. The rooms are clean, so they do meet the bare minimum requirements for that. The staff have also been friendly and helpful. I just don’t feel the cost of the room is justified by the quality.

Requested quiet room for our anniversary and we were given one over the front office and parking lot out front. Lots of car doors slamming at 7AM. Also breakfast was included but horrible and could not eat it. Did not use our 2nd voucher for free breakfast the next day. Food in dining room was excellent.

We stayed here through Blue Green vacation. The location is beautiful. The room we stayed in was so outdated it just didn't seem clean. If they would just update the rooms this place would be 5 stars. The ac was very dirty they really should clean the filter. The counter and stove buttons were dirty when we arrived. Also they had no internet for a little which I know is not their fault. The hair dryer handle was sticky no matter how many times I tried to wipe it down. There was no body wash just two shampoos.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The people were all nice and service good. Loved the bar tender though we did not even drink. I will say the place was very clean which is nice to see. I would recommend it. The one thing we did not like was the noise from all the air conditioners. We had a nice balcony but could not sit on it as our neighbors air conditioner was too loud.

The weather was frightful, but the Mountain Club on Loon was delightful. I can't say enough about the great service and amenities at the Mountain Club. From our greeting at the front desk, to our great room and fabulous meals at the Black Diamond (Chris is awesome) , Mr. McIver and his team were spot on. With the weather in the Northeast this spring/early summer being rainy, it was very nice to have covered parking and everything connected inside, no need to get wet when using the inside amenities such as the indoor pool, spa and dining. We were able to spend time out at the outside pool that has a spectacular view of Loon Mountain. We went for a quick 2day getaway and we took advantage of the Rise & Dine package which included a 3 course meal for two and daily breakfast for the 2 of us, plus a Spa Certificate that my wife used to get a manicure. The package was very reasonably priced and we consider it a great deal. I would highly recommend a stay at the Mountain Club on Loon

Nice resort and beautiful area but the beds were horrible. My husband and I both had trouble sleeping and woke up with back pain due to the horrible mattresses on the “Murphy beds” in a studio room. The kitchenette was great- had all the supplies and was very clean. The bathroom and the room were nice and clean. We enjoyed both pools, the hot tub, and walking around the property. We left a night early due to bad weather and horrible mattresses.

Ed, the manager, is a beyond amazing customer service guru. He made our stay at the Loon a great experience, from his initial greeting at check to problem solving when we had a room issue. He worked quickly with us and helped to ensure that we had a great stay.

I hosted 45 customers and employees at Loon on February 09, 2023. The Loon Mountain staff was fantastic as I rented out Boyles Breakhouse for the day. Mike our host and bartender was fantastic. Unfortunately the Mountain Club had Andover Insurance events at the hotel and closed the ONLY restaurant and bar in the hotel so they could cater to that group, leaving our 45 people to have to go off site to eat. This was not why we chose Loon. We wanted to stay on-site. After spending 10k this was very disappointing. I also had a dinner credit and breakfast credit with my room which could not be used due to the Mountain Club having Andover take over the facilities. These types of groups should be hosted in a function room, not the only restaurant and bar at the hotel. In my 30 years of hosting events, I have only experienced this here at the Mountain Club.

Good afternoon, Thank you for joining us at The Mountain Club and Loon Mountain. Sorry and very surprised to read your comments. Yes, we had a large group with us but had planned for our other guests to use other dining options such Seasons Restaurant or The Green House for their dining needs. We were not made aware of any other group staying with us, especially one of 45 people. I personally was around the entrance to our Pub to assist our "non-group" guest into our other dining areas, there was no need for you to depart the property as we planned for all our guests to dine with us. If you wish, please contact me directly to rectify this in any way possible. Thank you, Jeff McIver
