This place was probably great back in the day, but in 2020 it has very much seen better days! It is in need of major renovations, from the front lobby to the dining area to the pools to every other part of the property. We visited and considered staying but didn't end up after doing an extensive look around the property and interacting with several staff. The buffet was $32 per person for what looked like a cheap selection of pasta and other low end offerings. Certainly not appetizing. The indoor pool was overflowing with small children and a strong chlorine smell. Very unappealing! The gift shop is the size of a broom closet with very limited offerings. Parking is difficult, and the parking staff was extremely rude! Horrible attitude by young staff who were way too junior to be exhibiting the sort of bad behavior and rudeness they expressed. Very rude. The buildings seem like an old resort that was probably a nice place back in the day but today it's the kind of place where they'd be better off tearing it down and starting over. There are much better options!

Been locked inside with kids since March and had to cancel a couples getaway in Lake Placid due to the COVID 19 travel bans. My wife and I needed some well deserved R&R. So when I saw an opportunity to go the White Mountains. My wife wanted to go and have breakfast overlooking the beautiful scenery to decompress. Done. Trip booked. I chose a King bed Club room upon reservation. See pic. They were booked solid as I was told when I called a few days before to confirm my reservation and room preference (a Mountain View or a river view.) I get it. We are in a pandemic. We understood that, packed our luggage. Long drive to the hotel from our home: 5 hour trip. When I got to check in, the hotel employee excitedly told me I got a room with a RIVER view. AWESOME I thought. When my wife and I got in the room, breaking the CLEAN SEAL due to the pandemic and unpacked our luggage. I opened the curtains to find I got a great view of the PARKING LOT. Big time Bummer. Expectations was set by the hotel clerk. Room 1119 folks, it has a great view of the parking lot. I work in customer service and note to management; you messed up. Then we got woken up by a fire alarm at 2 a.m. Ugh. At least Chris our waiter at the hotel pub was excellent and made our evening dining experience a real pleasure and the food was very good. He should get a raise. Hotel is in need of some repairs and the location is great for mountain biking and hiking in the summer. Breakfast was good except on the last day when I called several times to order our meal and no one answered. I left a message and no one called us back. So my wife insisted we leave a couple of hours shy of check out time. Drove 5 hours back home on a empty stomach. As the local Dunkin Donuts had a long line of cars waiting for drive thru. Beautiful scenery. Wish my wife and I could have seen it via our room in the morning with a cup of coffee.

Had a very pleasant stay recently at the Mountain Club on Loon. We had a suite & it was well-appointed, spacious & featured all promised amenities. In addition, the property is easy to navigate & the location is great for convenient access to the mini downtown of Lincoln, as well as to highways that we used to get to excursions. If you are planning a trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, definitely consider staying here!

This long-time favorite resort hasn’t changed much in years, and that’s a good thing. The location is perfect, the parking is copious, so it’s the perfect place to stay with family and friends as a home base for visiting all of the many area attractions. It’s also close to great restaurants like the local chain The Common Man plus the Price Chopper grocery store You can’t beat the views from the river-facing rooms, which are spacious and clean if a bit bland (it’s a ski resort in the winter - boots and skis aren’t fancy-furniture friendly). At this price point they more than fit the bill with comfortable beds, strong wifi, large bathrooms, and USB on either side of the bed. I think all the rooms are suite style - a single room can be extended into the adjoining room with basic kitchen, living-room, and pull-out beds. This visit was during the pandemic, and honestly, the Club is doing a great job accommodating the situation. Desk staff Bobby, Aaron, Christine, and also Denise (their new spa manager) were all super-friendly and patient even though I can be a bit needy - how does one manage to demagnetize their room key three times in one day?! I also left some shorts in the dresser and they reached out and then mailed them to me! A very solid and steady choice all around! Ill be back in foliage season.

We stayed two nights in July and from the moment I checked in it was clear I made the right choice for our getaway. Edward at the front desk made me feel as if I were the only guest at the resort. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the resort as well as the area in Lincoln. Our room was not available at check in but Edward searched for a room that was available for us. He described it as his favorite room as it offered a gorgeous view of the mountains and pool. The king suite was spacious, clean and the view was amazing. I can be very particular about where I stay with my family when we travel but especially during these challenging times. I often times bring my own cleaning products to a hotel and did for this trip as well. I was very impressed with how well the room was cleaned and prepared for our visit. Our boys used the outdoor pool immediately. The pool is a great size with chairs and tables set out for us to enjoy. The Mountain Club asked that we call ahead to the wellness center to confirm space at the pool prior to visiting. We used the pool several times and each time there wasn't a delay at all with getting right outside. The staff and guests were all wearing masks which I appreciated. We ate all of our meals onsite and were quite pleased with the kids eat free program. In addition, we were provided with a $25 voucher to be used in the restaurant as well as a reminder that our reservation also allowed for two free breakfasts daily. We all enjoyed our meals very much. In addition, we were offered free vouchers to ride the gondola to the top of Loon Mountain. I have never seen a view as spectacular. The servers in the Black Diamond Pub were great as well. We visited Clark's Trading Post while we were in Lincoln and were surprised by the number of visitors who did not wear masks. The sun shined both of the days that we were in Lincoln which was fabulous. At checkout I was glad to be able to chat briefly with Edward from my arrival and thanked him for a fabulous time and that will indeed be returning soon!
