We were with a senior group. We were supposed to have Lakeview rooms. Ended up across the street looking I think at an old tennace court had to replace keys 3 times before they worked, it is a senior group why would they book us in 2nd floor without elevator. The reservation said sit down dinner not smorgasbord everything was in sauce nothing that I liked. Did not get to use pool and hot tub I expected to be in the same building. I am so glad they offered a shuttle bus my knee's are killing me from getting on and off. Nothing good about this place STAY AWAY
came here for memorial day weekend w wife and daughter and her Bf... within an hr of being here after the easiest check in ever, we took a ride down 112 and saw some bears! and foxes! deer! and yes we even saw a moose the following night! the restaurants nearby are all great and customer service is what keeps us coming back! But at indian head , your at one with the mountains, you absolutely cannot beat the views ! we stayed in the bungalows and they were nice and cozy and made us feel like we lived there... awesome staff as always... i’ve been coming here for many years and every time i realize why... the STAFF! they make it fun, and they’re so helpful with anything you need! the activities are bountiful here as well, something for everyone. with the technology of today.. very rare to see your teenage daughter not constantly having her phone in her hand because there was a pool, spa, arcade room, awesome pond w paddle boats, fireworks,etc... and she had the best time i can recall in years ... that is priceless in my book... thank you indian head resort for making my family’s stay a memorable experience we’ll never forget!…
I have been coming to Indian Head Resort for the last 6 years for the New Hampshire Highland Games. Each year I have stayed here I have noticed a steady decline in the overall service. This year was the last straw. For the three days we stayed at the resort the bathroom in our room was not cleaned and the beds looked like they were made up by a 6 year old. The place looks like it is being held together by duct tape and glue and the almost double price (for their normal priced rooms) during the Highland Games doesn't make it favorable either. Yes, it is convenient because the bus to the Highland Games stops right out in front but there are other choices in the area and next year we will be trying one of them. By, by Indian Head Resort you have lost this repeat customer.
We were lucky to get the last room they had so beggars cant be choosers but..... our room was pretty awful and run down. This place is so huge that there's no way to maintain quality. Good location for the area though, I have no idea how many people they service but literally bus loads. Food pretty good here also. Try to make reservations far enough ahead not to get the last one, room 507.
Stayed on bus tour of Northeast for 2 nights. Room was very good size but was across the street from lodge. Our stay included breakfast and supper buffets that were quite good. Had a shuttle to get across highway.
