Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Little old, but clean. Despite Covid, resort took reasonable precautions to make you feel safe. Not everything resort offers was open, but what was open was enjoyable.

The place was great. Honestly was a lot more than I/we expected. The full kitchen, and full size fridge, was a huge plus, with plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. included. Big seating area for us to all congregate (with a fireplace!) and the rooms were spread out enough that we all still felt like we had our own space. One of the rooms required walking up a ladder that was built into the wall. Only about 3-4 steps, but not ideal for those more injury prone. We also had a small sink/closet room that connected from the master to the only bathroom, and it was a nice plus to have an extra area to get ready, wash hands, etc. Plenty of towels and linens and we all felt very comfortable with the extra precautions taken by staff due to COVID. Plenty of chairs at the pool, and Frank the poolman was very friendly and helpful. Only downside really would be that it's a bit dated, if new is some thing that you're looking for. Cheers!

The townhouse provided plenty of room for our two-family crew of 9. It afforded privacy as well as ability to all gather in main area. Well stocked with utensils and appliances. It was very warm the first 2 nights but we knew going in there was no AC. The Pickerings clearly care about their guests.

We had a cancel a Florida vacation due to COVID but still needed to getaway. We decided to go to NH as it was a state we could visit without requiring quarantine upon our return home. We then picked the White Mountains area and wanted a place to stay that had some space and a few amenities. We gave The Village a shot. It was easy to get to and the resort has many buildings but (expectedly) very low occupancy (and low staff, too - there was a person at the front desk from 4pm to 7pm and the pool building had an attendant - the only two employees we saw in 4 days). Our room was a one bedroom and a good size. When we entered we found a bag of bedding and towels waiting for us (we never had to set up our own bed before at a hotel; I feel it was due to low staff rather than health and safety). The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were very good as well. The resort needed maintenance in more than a few areas, which was a little of a downer but nothing that was a safety issue. Much less, we were out most of the day and, as I said, the bed wss very comfortable. All four pools were open and COVID protocols were in place. The location of this resort is excellent and should we return in the future to the White Mountains I bet we would come back to the Village of Loon Mountain.

I stayed here with my family and although the place was really nice, looked clean, and cozy, there are some updates that need to be done. Like the kitchen. the sink disposal was stocked. One side of the stove was not working. Although it looked clean the place did not smell fresh. I personally like the smell of clean/fresh places. One of the bedrooms was not vacuumed under the bed. I really hope they fix everything, so we can go back in the future. The area is beautiful and very relaxing.
