Where to begin? We stayed here only hours after asking my girlfriend (now fiance) to marry me. Its fair to say I may be biased because of that but even before this moment, I knew staying here was a great choice. Months before we left to go on our trip through the trees (New England in the fall) I emailed the owners asking for advice. They were so helpful recommending places to pop the question and gorgeous drives to get to them. Not only that, but on my request, they even left a bottle of something in our room to make our new engagement even more special. We'll be going again at the earliest opportunity!
This was our First stay at Mt Liberty Lodging. What a great place, awesome view of the river, great cabin, the kids loved the pool. We were a 2 minute drive from Clark's Trading post. The whole family was Happy. We will definitely be back next year!
This is the sixth year our family has had our annual family reunion at Mt. Liberty. This is the second year we have stayed here under the new ownership. I stay in cabin 6, and they have made small upgrades over the last two seasons. There is a new mattress, new table, bedspread, and dishes in my cabin. Small upgrades, but they add to the quaintness of my cabin. Mike and Susan have worked hard to update things around the property, and work tirelessly to keep things looking great. They are very hospitable, and our family really enjoys staying here. I enjoy the cabins because they are right on the river, and I love falling to sleep with the water running outback. There are many local attractions, and Mt. Liberty is centrally located so you can go in any direction easily to find entertainment and adventure. I highly recommend Mt. Liberty, if you are looking for a quiet, charming place to stay when you are in the White Mountains. I look forward to returning next year.…
We stayed here in July for 3 nights in #14. The location is perfect, loved spending time on the river and very close to great restaurants and attractions. Nice pool and fire pit. The cons are: cabin very dated, bed was not comfortable and linens and pillows were awful! The room was clean with fresh towels daily. They need to add more tables, chairs and umbrellas outside of the rooms, there were only a few with neighbors getting very territorial. There was no hairdryer which is very unusual in this day and age. I've read that some rooms have been updated to I would ask before you book.
Recently spent three nights at Mt Liberty Cabins. Stayed in the cabin, Lonesome Lake. Great time all around. Cabin was clean, staff was great, prices reasonable. We will be back for sure. Would recommend!
