We came over the weekend of May 10 and had an amazing time. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We were up for a birthday celebration getaway. We did a lot of hiking and had a great time at the cabin with the outdoor fire pit! We will definitely be back again!

I’m originally from Florida and have paid some steep prices for camping. This little campgrounds offers so much when combined with the local community at a great price! The campground was really cool with streams surrounding the property. The cabins were very nice and clean. Diane and Mario work very hard to maintain the property so that everyone gets to enjoy the same experience. It is a family campground and has plenty of close by things to do such as hiking, kayaking, or touristy stuff. The little town has plenty of great eating spots to take in, or the local deli has great grilling choices at great prices also! The only downside my trip was having to leave, but you can bet that Wrigley and I will be there next year! Scott N Wrigley

Stayed on site 18 by river and it was beautiful. Grounds are well maintained, and bathhouse is clean and heated. Reservation lady was a joy to deal with. We had a late arrival and were welcomed with a resevation packet with all we needded: fire wood, fire starters, map to our site and other camp facilities, as well as WiFi password. Wonderful people.

We stayed in Cabin 1 for a weekend getaway. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well appointed. In anticipation of our arrival the owner, Diane, had turned on the heat and lights making for a very welcoming first impression. The Pemi River runs behind the cabin making for a pretty view out the kitchen window. I would definitely stay at Country Bumpkins again. Thank you Diane and Mario for making our get away special.
