We stayed at the Rocks cabin for the week of Christmas and it was magical! Although, it started with hiccups that were easily conquered. First, we live in NJ and my 6yr old wanted snow last year which NJ failed to deliver. So I booked NH for 2019 and the week prior to arrival talking to the owner, who's amazing, she informed me that they had no snow but should they get have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, which we have a front wheel drive Traverse, but there is snow shovel and bucket of sand on the porch and go in reverse. Upon arrival we had snow, YES, but the pin drop on Google maps was about 50ft from the driveway entrance, which at 5pm in NH carries the same amount of daylight as 3am, I proceeded to enter the clearing of trees that I thought was the driveway only to be stuck in snow 🤦‍♂️ BUT thankfully for the shovel and sand we were able to make it back on the road and to the correct entrance! The cabin was amazing, the kids had a great time on the playground, and we had a magical Christmas! Oh, and thanks, to a previous reviewer who gave 1*, my kids found random change throughout the place...Idiot. Should you read that negative review please note they were in the wrong since my kids found remnants. We'll be back again maybe another Christmas!

Stayed at cabin in the woods and was stuck at the bottom of the hill because of inclimate weather. Called the office and they said there's nothing they can do about their own property road conditions. Lol poor management. Suggested that I pay a tow company to tow me out because they aren't responsible. Won't be returning.

This is an angry and spiteful visitor that wants to go on every social media web-site and post inaccurate information. The anger is directed at his own poor management for planning his treachery and deceit by sneaking on our property as an unregistered visitor. The undeclared Hyundai Sante Fe SUV was ill-equipped to drive in inclement weather. The car's all-wheel drive was faulty and he did not have winter tires. We take great pride in the care of the upkeep of our property. In the winter we sand and plow our property when storms end. Overnight an inch of snow had accumulated down by that cabin. A properly equipped car would have had no trouble getting up that hill. Buckets of sand and shovels are provided in front of the cabin to assist people to get their vehicles unstuck. No effort was made on this visitor's part to get his car freed. The visitor wanted us to tow him. Unfortunately, we do not have the necessary equipment to tow vehicles that get stuck and/or pull them up the hill on our lightly snow-covered driveways. We have superior management skills and are extremely proactive. Management sends a reminder prior to arrival to the e-mail of the person reserving the cabin so that proper precautions can be taken. Our reminder states as follows: "This time of year the weather can be very unpredictable. So far we have had some very icy conditions. We take every precaution in maintaining the driveways to the cabins. The property has many steep inclines and declines so plan on bringing a vehicle that will provide good traction. For example: two-wheel or four-wheel drive would make a difference in your ability to maneuver to and from your cabin. Having a vehicle equipped with snow tires is highly recommended. Each cabin has a bucket of sand and shovels outside the property to assist if your vehicle gets stuck. If you are concerned about the conditions at anytime, feel free to park up hill, by the office." The present you left in the cabin was extremely spiteful and deplorable, a basket of vomit underneath the sink for someone to clean. That is a bio-hazard and behavior that is appalling and beyond apprehension. That conduct is never welcomed. Since you were never a disclosed guest on our property we are happy that you will not be returning. .

This was our second time staying at Josselyn’s and, like last year, it was a wonderful time! The cabin was spotless and the grounds are beautiful. Checking in and out was seamless. The cabins are incredibly affordable. The WiFi worked great and, there was plenty of hot water. Sheena and Tara are wonderful! We had such fun talking with them and can’t wait to book our next stay.

This was our 4th stay at Josselyn's and once again we had a great weekend. We spent 2 nights in the Christmas Cabin everything was excellent. The kids think it is great because the upstairs is basically all theirs. The weather didn't really cooperate since we were hitting Santa's Village, so we had to shorten our time at the park, but we managed to have a good time at the cabin. Very quiet and peaceful and well maintained grounds. The only complaint we ever had was the cabin lights were to dim, but it looks like they updated that so it was much brighter. So much better than a standard hotel room!

This is our fourth visit to Josselyn's. We just love it here!!! We enjoy the peace and quiet and the beauty of our surroundings. Our cabin is always clean and in perfect condition when we arrive. Our children are older now, but we still travel to Jefferson for the much needed break in our busy lives!! No matter what we do each day, we know our cabin is waiting for us and the campfire at the end of each night is always wonderful. Thank you Josselyn's!!!!!
