If you are going to Santa's village in the white mountains, this is the place to stay. It has the same clean and friendly feel as Santa's village (some of the staff are wearing Santa's village employee apparel). It is really convenient to stay, walk across the street to the park then walk back at the end of the day.
We rented a camper for 3 nights. It was clean and fabulous! The campground was short staffed but still did an amazing job keeping up with everything. The landscaping was beautiful, it was quiet at night, and overall just a wonderful experience. We loved being steps away from Santa’s Village too. Can’t wait to go back.
This was our second year camping at the Lantern Resort and Campground. Their customer service is unparalleled. We had a bit of a mixup when booking that caused us to lose our spot we had chosen to be next to our friends. When we checked in, they happily changed it so we could be near them. I love the curbside trash pickup, the clean bathrooms and laundry, and the pools and hot tub! The food truck is also a nice touch. Everything is incredibly well maintained, and there are plenty of staff to help with whatever needs might arise. We needed a jump on our car because someone left the doors open all night, and they had a jump box ready in a couple minutes. We needed a longer hose for our camper, and they had it available. Our neighbors had a problem with the water pipe leaking on their site and they immediately fixed it. We really enjoyed our weeklong stay here and would recommend it and will definitely be back to visit! …
My family and I stayed at the Lantern Resort again and it was just as enjoyable as ever. Nice campsites with lots of ammenities to keep the kids occupied and off the devices. The facilities are well maintained and beautiful, the flowers are just breathtakingly arranged and taken care of. Will definitely be back again!
I have mixed feelings about this place. We stayed 2 nights July 15-17, 2019 to take our kids (ages 2, 5) to Santa's village. When we first arrived, there was an earwig, a moth and a few ants in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like dried urine and had a musty, mildewy smell. The room was nicely decorated and there were plenty of towels provided. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. But it had a TV, free wifi, a mini fridge. My kids really liked the playground (which was behind the motel) and we didn't get a chance to try to pool which looked nice. Staff seemed professional and welcoming. My husband was fine with this place and thought it met all our basic needs. However, we paid almost $200 a night (canadian) which was really too pricey. I would not stay here again, at least not in the motel section.…
