Great rooms .We had a suite in one of the cottages. Good size and fab bathroom. The town is quite with just a few bars and resturants. The Irish pub is great . Mt Washington not too far away and Great for forest trails.
The Wentworth Inn exceeded all expectation! We attended our niece's wedding this weekend and arrived early. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk and delicious fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Our room was beautiful and extremely clean. I would recommend this beautiful inn to anyone planning a wedding. The staff could not have been more accomadating. The weather was unseasonably cold and they passed out blankets for the older guest. Food was delicious at the event and in the hotel. We could not have been happier with our stay at the Wentworth Inn.
My husband and I really enjoyed our 3 nights at Wentworth. The Inn itself is lovely, the staff was VERY friendly & accommodating and the food was delicious. We highly recommend it. I can see why it would be a perfect place for special events.
When I travel. I do not want to have to housekeep. Not having to do so is part of my VACATION. I like to come back to a freshened room. When I booked the room, either it wasn't mentioned or it wasn't listed. For this trip I had to empty my own trash bins and reline the trash bins with the plastic liners. Place my garbage outside of my door for pick up. Ask for, then bring into my room coffee refills and towel replacements, make-up the bed... That's the downside and the reason for only 4 stars. The upside is that it is in fact an elegant country inn. Our room accommodations did not disappoint. We enjoyed the many fine points of comfort and elegance. When I researched for our get away, I loved the idea of heated bathroom floors, only to learn when we got here and the dial didn't work that they are made defunct in the summer (Then SAY that doggone it in the promotions). Chandeliers were throughout our Parlor suite, replete with dimmers. The shower doubled as a sauna....that was a real plus. There are other points of design that are really commendable. The area is scenic and quiet. The gym is great. The chef is amazing, and the wait staff was excellent. All of the entrées and desserts were mouth wateringly good. Hope you find this helpful.…
We booked a suit it was spacious and very comfortable. The jacuzzi was just what i needed for my sore back and our stay was wonderful. The staff was courteous, friendly and on their game. We would like to throw some love to Leon, and Charlie the bartenders they were great.
Recently stayed at this beautiful Inn with family for the first time and certainly will return. Staff - food - beverages - accommodations were all five star. Quaint cozy welcoming atmosphere. The grounds and area must be even more beautiful as the seasons change. Perfect spot for a wedding or event! Thank you for a great overnight getaway. Our family enjoyed every minute.
We enjoyed a suite with a whirlpool tub and beautiful sitting areas and fireplace. only glitch was the tub worked on our first night but not second. Front desk staff was great in giving us a credit, but we really reported it so they would know for the next guest.
I recently stayed at The Wentworth Inn in Jackson NH and found my stay to be amazing. The "cozy/comfy" atmosphere is just what I needed. The Inn along with the entire staff are amazing! The room I stayed was so quaint and comfortable overlooking Jackson Falls. I would highly recommend a visit to The Wentworth Inn.
Wonderful hidden gem for a relaxing getaway. This place has so much unique Victorian charm, yet with modern convenience. We booked a suite with a private hot tub off our balcony, as well as dinner and breakfast included in the price. Hot tub was clean up to temp, great view. The food was Phenomenal. Four course meal for dinner, and buffet breakfast. Staff was friendly as well. All around wonderful experience. We'll be back for sure!
We booked condo unit 12B for two nights for family of four - two parents - two grown children. We were very excited - the unit looked so great online. Unfortunately when we arrived, the place looked nothing like the photos. It was gross. The furniture was disgusting. Absolutely filthy. Very old outdoor furniture was in the living room. It was so bad, we did not want to sit on any of it. There was a broken screen in front of the gas fireplace, which did not work. The freezer was very dirty. The carpeting was dirty. The walls were marked up. The televisions in bedrooms were not hooked up to any cable or modern technology, so they were useless. One positive - the bathrooms were clean. We had drinks in the main building of the hotel in the lounge one night and the bartender was great, the drinks were good. There was not much activity there - no music or anything. We did not eat in the restaurant. The area is nice - pretty - with ability to walk to Wildcat Tavern which had live enterntainment. We enjoyed that and the skiing. We cannot speak to the rooms in the main hotel. We mentioned our disappointment at checkout and they took $100 off the bill. The bill was $868 - so not much consolation. The unit has great potential - just needs someone to invest in new carpeting (or perhaps just clean it), new funiture and a little TLC.…
