As Inn owners ourselves we were in dire need of a relaxing vacation after a busy summer season. Thorn Hill didn’t disappoint. I had a nice massage and facial. The food was excellent at dinner and breakfast. The pumpkin bisque was amazing. We ate there 2 of our 3 nights because of it. The room was well appointed and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every detail is thought of including blankets all around outside so you can sit and enjoy without being chilly. The location is also perfect. It’s a short drive to the white Mtn auto road or to Gorham where we rented UTVs. North Conway center is minutes away as are the outlets for shopping. This was my husbands first time planning a getaway on his own (it was my birthday present). He scored a 10!

We had a quick one night get away here and couldn't have had a nicer experience. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Our room was very well-appointed and clean. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent; service was attentive and friendly. We were even treated to watching a mother bear and her cubs forage for their dinner. Highly recommend!

My husband and I (both 30) had a great time at the Inn at Thornhill. We stayed three nights, and were very busy during the day; hiking, visiting breweries, and driving around the area. I'm glad we did have plans during the day, as I think we would have gotten a bit stir-crazy otherwise. That said, if you're looking for some peace and quiet then you're in the right place! There was a great patio that we saw many take advantage of. We stayed in the Mount Washington Suite which was so nice and spacious, if available, and makes sense for you, I highly recommend. I only gave 4 bubbles because I felt that the service was not 100% as expected. For instance one night we waited 10 minutes to be seated, and then it took 15 minutes for anyone to come with water. We almost left. That said, it's incredible difficult times, and I'm unsure what their staff situation is, so I'm sure our experience was abnormal. Other than that, we had great conversations with the bartender at the time, Warren, and the Chef is truly incredible. We had amazing meals each night. Overall, I think that if you are heading to NH and are looking for a more upscale place to stay, you should visit!

This was a wonderful stop on our drive through the New England states and my only regret was that we only stayed one night. From the general manager who greeted us when we arrived to the hostess at breakfast, the staff was warm, welcoming and provided great service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed dinner at the Inn restaurant which was also very good. I highly recommend a stay here!

Unfortunately, COVID ruined all of our 2020 summer travel plans. By the time September rolled around, however, my husband and I knew we needed to get away to do something, and celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We wanted to go some place we'd never been before, and the Inn at Thorn Hill was particularly attractive because of its reviews and the ability to have everything at one location, from a social distance perspective. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sheri, who was a shining star throughout our entire stay. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel like guests in her own home, and the most important guests in the whole Inn. This service was continued throughout our stay by Brittany, a GM visiting from another one of the owner's properties, who continually recognized our anniversary celebration and made us feel as if we'd known her forever. We packed our stay with two spa treatments each, and dinner in both the tavern and the restaurant. All of the food, both the included made to order breakfast and both dinners, where phenomenal. Megan in the restaurant made our special anniversary dinner perfect and was most kind. For breakfast, we were waiting on by DeMarco, who knows was a wealth of information on local hiking attractions. Our room, the Tuckerman Suite, was absolutely delightful, clean, and nicely decorated. I cannot begin to say enough about the hospitality of the team, the safety of and adherence to COVID guidelines, and the place as a whole. Bravo to all! We only hope for the opportunity to be back in the future.
