The Lodge at Jackson Village is an extremely clean and comfortable hotel. Before I book a hotel I read reviews specifically looking for the cleanliness as I have seen some horrendous hotels. It was immaculate. A hotel on the smaller side yet quaint and conveniently laid out. Our room(#22) was a a bit larger than the average hotel room from my perspective - with a private balcony which although overlooked the parking view had great views of the mountains. Coffee and hot chocolate was available 24/7, and light continental breakfast items were available at no additional charge. Courteous and responsive customer service. I would definitely recommend!

Stayed in August, but had to leave early because Mother Nature sent hurricane Henri our way. This place was soooo accommodating in letting us move our day to mid-September so we wouldn't lose out on money...come September we got hit with the remnants of hurricane Ida and suffered severe flooding. They once again were sooo understanding in letting us move our dates to another weekend! I cannot say enough nice things about the family who runs this place. Our room was spotless, the atmosphere was so relaxing and the hotel is QUIET!!! We normally stay in N. Conway for all our trips to NH in the fully booked chain hotels. This was our first time staying in Jackson and I will stay here from now on. Breakfast was plentiful and is your typical hotel breakfast (they have the waffle maker!!!). the pool was clean they even turned the heat on for us one night when it was chilly. We also enjoyed the tennis court and small river behind the hotel. Excellent experience. Stay here if you want a truly relaxing stay in the area!

Very nice staff, clean rooms, and affordable what more can you ask for in such a beautiful area. There's also a restaurant in walking distance. Word of wise if you plan on going out for dinner Saturday night (anywhere) in that area, North Conway included head out early or you'll be waiting quite sometime to eat!!

My husband and I booked this hotel for a 2 night stay because we were taking our oldest daughter to Santa's village (roughly an hour away). This hotel is also pretty close by many shops and restaurants in north conway still have to drive to get there- definitely not walking distance. Story Land is also just down the road. Upon our arrival we were able to check in early (around 12pm). The property much TLC. There are Christmas lights sloppily draped around both entrances its ugly and tacky. The outside flowerbeds have these cinderblocks around them and dollar store solar lights in the holes of the cinderblocks it just makes the property look cheap. When we booked this hotel on Priceline it was described as a "luxury hotel "... ITS NOT. The rooms look renovated but the modern look doesn't fit with the hotel. Our room was spacious but was dusty and the phone was messed up-the front desk called 3 times to tell us to move our car but every time I answered the line was dead(we had just arrived and were getting our bags in the room and feeding our 2 month old) I couldn't see why it was so urgent nobody else was even at the property. After that we walked around the outside to check out the pool and the fire pit. If you are handicapped it would be very difficult or impossible to get to the fire pit as you have to walk down a steep slope to get there. I walk with a cane and leg brace and struggled to get down and up the slope. I didn't like that the play area was so close to a river and the road. Anyone with kids knows that it only takes a second for a curious kid to go where they shouldn't be. The pool isn't that big and there are all these cords & crap we had to step over. I think there's something wrong with the pool's filtration it looks like they took parts of the pool apart (on the outside). I think these people are too cheap to get someone to fix the pool. They told us we couldn't go in the pool something to do with covid but we could sit in the chairs around the pool. Then the next day all these people were in the pool we were like maybe we misunderstood IDK. The breakfast was terrible for a "luxury hotel " just gross coffee, oj,hot chocolate, bagels, poptarts, cereals. My thoughts work with local businesses use their coffee and pastries and advertise for them . The sign in our room said they also serve eggs and sausage for breakfast but when my husband asked they said they don't do that. I don't think they do daily housekeeping because they never emptied our trash cans or gave us fresh towels which sucked. The beds weren't bad but quite high. All in all the hotel I guess isn't too bad if you only stay for a day or two but I'd go crazy if I had to stay for a week.

This is located right along Rte 16 so starting by 5am there's a lot of traffic and truck noise on front side of building. Ask for rear facing room which should be quieter. The room appears to have been recently painted and new carpeting (probably within past year). Bathroom tub seemed very grubby, but maybe it was just very old. Not sure how well carpeting had been vacuumed as there was black hairs sticking to bottom of our shoes. Also bedding had dirty marks on it. Balcony floor was new but railings are old with lots of peeling paint. I know you can't keep everything new looking. I'm sure there's lots of upkeep here. Breakfast was OK. Scrambled eggs with bacon rounds, toast, prepackaged danish, cereal, yogurt, bananas and apples, etc. It was OK, but nothing extraordinary. Pricey in foliage season.

I’ve stayed here several times over the years while hiking before but there are new owners now. Check in took some time since I know the area and hotel and they wanted to give me a room that was not acceptable to me so he had me wait for the manager to come back….this took about 15 minutes. The front desk clerk was difficult to understand but the manager changed my room to a much better choice facing the back yard area on the 1st floor. There is lots of construction in the area and when I was there, the road in front was being resurfaced so lots of noise, dust, etc and not a pleasant view. The back area is pleasant but unfortunately, the new owners were doing a lot of upgrades and right on my outside wall so could not sit out on the patio in the daytime and very loud banging. (would have been considerate if they waited when the room would not be occupied to do that type of work).
Room was fairly clean but no housekeeping while I was there (3 nights) and when I asked at the front desk just to empty my trash they said sure but never did so I just put it in the hallway. Breakfast was very sparse as most hotels are due to the covid – ate elsewhere.

I accidently left two jersey shirts hanging in the open closet that is hidden when the bathroom door is open. Definitely my fault but when I realized two days later, I called and they knew nothing about it and nothing in lost/found etc. They told me no one had stayed in the room and only their staff had been in there. No matter how many discussions I had with them they could not account for the shirts. They said they asked around and no one knew a thing and to even suggest maybe someone walking by the open room may have taken them. I travel a great deal and have left things behind on occasion but have always had them found and returned – until now. Sad but done. I can not recommend this hotel and will not be back – there are better choices in the area.
TIP- 1st floor rooms can be very noisy if you have heavy footed guests staying above your room.

I brought my son to the White Mountains for a last getaway before school starts back up again. The Lodge was very reasonably priced, tidy, and looked like they had invested their remodel budget wisely. I don't know if it is family-owned and -operated but it certainly had that homey feel. The staff was quite friendly and appeared to be providing the most they could within the limits and restrictions of the pandemic. The location was an easy ride to Mt. Washington, North Conway, and StoryLand. The town was milling and repaving the road and bridge in front of the property but the front desk called me ahead of time with instructions on how to access the parking lot, which I appreciated. The one quibble is that the wifi coverage wasn't great. My connection kept bouncing in my room.
I would stay there again.

Here 4 days. Promised “hot breakfast” with eggs & sausage. Lots of pennypinching going on & there were no such eggs & sausage to be found. The only thing “hot” was an old malfunctioning waffle machine making shredded burnt dough. The juice machine was broken all 4 days. (“technician coming.”) They were no, no fat yogurt or milk options.

Breakfast crowds would beg for eggs, coffee from the empty thermos, etc.

There are few if any breakfast options nearby in the off-season so this defect is crucial.

I was charged twice for the room with a promised refund that still has not hit my credit card statement.

Seems like a nice place was purchased by new owners, & they have let it slide everywhere due to said pennypinching.

We stayed her for one night while visiting storyland. They wanted a two night minimum but after calling they said one night was fine. Our room was clean and cool and faced the backyard area. They have a nice pool and a little play area for the kids. Breakfast was continental but they had a waffle machine and some eggs and potatoes. Not bad for a small place. Check in was a breeze and checkout we just dropped our keys in a small box. A few small toys and games for the kids and right down the road from everything. Seems to be family run which is great but they take great pride in their hotel. We’d stay again next time we come up this way with our family.

My husband and son recently stayed here and immediately upon entering the room we were impressed. We stayed in a king size room which had ample space for all our winter sports clothing plus room for my preschooler to play while we got ready for that day's adventures. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view of the mountains was wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We come to the Jackson area frequently to hike or ski, and we will be sure to stay in this hotel again. Thank you Lodge at Jackson Village for helping my family have an awesome vacation!
