Our fourth and final day at the Snowflake Inn and I can’t say enough good things about this place. First, it’s immaculate and complying with COVID protocols. Because of Covid our rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis but there was always a nice basket of towels, paper goods and Lindt Truffles outside our door. The king sized bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet (little kids are not allowed). The inn has a beautiful fire pit and there were little bags and sticks set up to make S’mores. Sue, the innkeeper, is super nice and very hospitable. There is coffee available in the morning and she also provides yogurt parfaits and other yummy treats (she keeps them in the kitchen- Covid compliant). The only thing I would change about the rooms is maybe add a desk/vanity. Overall it was a lovely stay and we can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at the Snowflake Inn again this year and it was as amazing as our first visit. This cozy, romantic and casual inn is a convenient location to many activities. We went snowmobiling in Bartlett which was a quick 8 miles away (perfect!). The guest rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing. Daily light breakfast in the main lodge room is relaxing, delicious (many home made items!) and fresh. Don't hesitate to stay here for a quiet weekend, or a romantic getaway. Friendly, helpful staff without being overbearing. We will return again and again!

The Snowflake Inn is a wonderful, quiet inn located in a very picturesque New Hampshire town. The check in was very quick and easy and they take your temperature before you are allowed your room key. It is an actual key so make sure to keep it safe. The room was huge and super clean and the jacuzzi and gas fireplace were very nice. There are lots of nice seating areas outside on both the front and back porch and it’s a short walk to the river. Breakfast was super fast, yogurt with loads of berries and granola and mini pastries. The inn keeper was lovely and very warm and chatty. It was so quiet that even though it was all booked up, you would never know it. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at the Snowflake Inn recently. While it is a pretty place, the price paid ($950 for a 3 night stay, with the third night being free) plus a couples massage, it is very expensive. We have stayed at other B&B's where breakfast is abundant so that one doesn't have to eat again until dinner. Not the case at Snowflake Inn. Their 'breakfast' is cold granola with yogurt plus three very small pastries. We ate it only once then ended up having breakfast elsewhere. As Covid was a concern, we were assured that our room was not in need of us wiping things down further (we still did just for our own peace of mind). On our second night, we went to use the remote in the other room and discovered it was disgustingly dirty, which really made us nervous. We brought it to the front desk and they assured us that it was just an oversight and they cleaned the remote (had to take it apart to clean). IDK...for the price we paid, we expected everything to be perfect, especially in the cleaning department. As far as the massage goes, save your money and go directly to the massage therapist in North Conway. Also, as others have mentioned, it would be nice to have a suitcase rack to keep one's luggage on vs having to use a chair in the room.

The inn is very romantic (no kids allowed!!) and cozy. We had a wonderful time. Our room was great...the Riverwalk Suite. The only things I would have changed would be to add a writing desk and the jacuzzi wasn't cleaned as good as it could have been. That was fine, though, since because of Covid, I always travel with cleaning supplies. And I forget to mention this to them when we left. The continental breakfast, which you order the night before and pick up in the morning, was perfect for me, but small for my husband. As of this writing, you can get get a yogurt parfait, a small dish of fresh pineapple, and 1 each of 3 different pastries.

The inn and room were otherwise very clean, and we felt safe throughout. They take your temp before you go to your room. We arrived a little early and sat by the fire and read while we waited. We got in at about 3:15pm.

We are already planning a return stay!

There is truly no place more serene and higher quality in all the mountains, clean, quiet and well thought out. Amazing value for the dollar and kind owners. I have a career in hotels and I truly feel like this resort delivers more than high ranking Marriotts and my management company should take notes from the operations of this little inn. I'm officially never going to stay anywhere else in the White mountains. Fantastically large rooms, clean bathrooms and water pressure that will leave you breathless and never wanting to get out of the shower. This no - child resort was chosen to be a first getaway between me and a romantic partner for my birthday, and was able to be pivoted to the most relaxing girls get away possible. Breakfast is lovely, jelly rolls in the lobby, and mugs for purchase that are the highest quality. Indoor pool is a mid century dream. The best stay I've had in my life.

AMAZING!!! Place is super quiet with only 20 rooms and 18+. The room was huge with a separate sitting area, large bathroom, and the bedroom had a very comfortable bed, a jetted tub, and a window seat with 3 windows. Such a cute little breakfast with fruit, yogurt, and a couple pastries. Coffee is available 12 hours a day and they have hot water for tea and hot chocolate. They kept surprising us by putting out cookies, pastries, and they even had a wine/cheese,cannoli night all free! One of the workers has the cutest lab named Lily and we were able to give her hugs and pats. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a very quick drive. The pool is the best pool I’ve ever been in! Super warm air and super warm water; they even put a heater in the pool bathroom! It is warmer than a regular pool but cooler than a hot tub and has jets. The fitness center is huge with many options ranging from cardio equipment, strength equipment, and free weights. There is even a massage chair in the fitness room. The lobby has multiple seats in front of a fireplace that had been running most of the time. Upstairs was a pool table with a couple games and puzzles and a couple more seating areas. There was so much cute decor I felt like everytime I looked around there was another piece of cute decor that I hadn’t noticed before!! MaryGrace was always working and super super friendly. There was another younger girl working too and she was also super friendly. They have a little gift shop with a bunch of Yankee candles, and some blankets, sweaters, and mugs. We will definitely be back this stay was perfect!!!

We just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at this beautiful country inn. I researched many B&B's before deciding on the Snowflake Inn. Our experience was everything we expected and more. The website pictures are an accurate portrayal of this establishment. While in NH, I did look for some of the other places which I looked at online. Others seemed run down and tired, in person (at least from the outside).

Carrie and Eric were our hosts. They took the job after being guests for a number of years. The inn was built new, about 20 years ago. The owners, Gary and Sue (mostly Sue, from what I was told) put a lot of thought into the design. Then rooms were large and (I believe, all have an in-room gas fireplace and a two person Jacuzzi tub.

Some amenities include a "tropical pool". It is an in-door pool with jets, allowing someone to swim against the jets. Water temperature is kept at a balmy 92 degrees. There is also an impressive gym. Some places may have a small room with a treadmill or two and say the "have a gym". The Snowflake Inn does have treadmills as well as an elliptical machine, free weights, rowing machine, and more (about a dozen "stations"). There is also a pool table, numerous games, and a large selection of DVD's.

We arrived from FL on a rainy, damp, "cold" (by our standards) afternoon, to be greeted by a roaring wood fire in the great room. The large flat screen television in our room was tuned to a music channel which was playing "Spa" type music. We did not change the channel, nor did we turn the music off during our entire stay....very relaxing.

A nice continental style breakfast was served each morning with two types of bread/scones, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, and OJ. Naturally, coffee and a selection of hot tea is available throughout the day. There is even a snack display (chips, granola bars, candy bars and as of 9/21, a selection of soft drinks) all based on the honor system, and reasonably priced at $1.

I could say so much more (Fire pit outside with Smore kits, friendly folks, several restaurants within walking distance, a nostalgic red covered bridge up the street and more). Do yourself a favor and book a trip to Central NH and stay at the Snowflake Inn.

This place is so good, I almost hate to tell you about it. First of all, it is in the center of Jackson, NH, which is a quaint little town in the middle of the White Mountains. Second, there is a two person tub in your bedroom. It is deep and it has jets and it is awesome. Grab a bunch of food and a bunch of wine and someone you love and never leave the room.

No time for a bath? There is a two person shower in the bathroom. Oh and did I mention, this is a suite? There is a sitting room up front for when you get tired of that person you love and just want to read a book.

Sue Ann and her folks are just amazing. They made this Midwest girl feel right at home. Any other year, I would probably have kept this place a secret but in the world of COVID good people deserve all the business they can get.

This inn is one of the best places you can stay. It truly has it all. From an indoor 90 degree heated pool for lounging, to gas fireplaces in room, two person jacuzzis in room, to a commercial gym on premises, it’s really wonderful, and reasonably priced also. In the interest of full disclosure, I will nitpick, and it truly is nitpicking. The mattresses are a bit mushy. They do not provide maid service and so if you want fresh towels. Etc you put them in a basket outside your door and they replenish them. Also, in order to match the metal post headboard they have matching metal posts on each corner of the bed and if not very careful, especially at night, you can stub a toe. Don’t ask me how I know. But those are tiny nits. Place is great. Oh, a bare minimum continental breakfast is put out but the coffee is very good and right across the street is an excellent diner.

Does each room have a private toilet and any views?
Answer from Jen Williams
Boston, Massachusetts7 contributions5 helpful votes
The short answer is yes, all rooms have a private toilet. In fact the bathrooms are pretty big. The views are mostly of the town of Jackson, while I wouldn't call the view stellar it is nice enough. I think the views are mostly the same no matter what room you get.

Yes, the large spa pool (in addition to normal Jacuzzi type jets) has a set of jets to provide a current to swim against. Because it's also used as a spa, you might find the temperature excessive for vigorous exercise. (Or you might find it more effective.)
