Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Snowflake Inn, after a recommendation from friends. We stayed in room 206 on the 2nd floor. The Inn is beautifully decorated and VERY clean. The staff including the Innkeepers Sue & Gary, Assistant Innkeeper Marygrace, and her daughter Daria were nothing short of AMAZING. They are incredibly helpful and have an attention to detail. They offered suggestions for dining and even made phone calls for us for reservations or outside dining questions. The rooms are very clean, and the in-room 2 person jacuzzi was a nice addition. The Inn is very quiet and relaxing. They take EXTRA care during COVID and it shows. We toured several area waterfalls during the day and sat by the campfire at night. I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn for a quiet getaway. We will definitely back soon! …
Stayed at the Snowflake Inn recently. While it is a pretty place, the price paid ($950 for a 3 night stay, with the third night being free) plus a couples massage, it is very expensive. We have stayed at other B&B's where breakfast is abundant so that one doesn't have to eat again until dinner. Not the case at Snowflake Inn. Their 'breakfast' is cold granola with yogurt plus three very small pastries. We ate it only once then ended up having breakfast elsewhere. As Covid was a concern, we were assured that our room was not in need of us wiping things down further (we still did just for our own peace of mind). On our second night, we went to use the remote in the other room and discovered it was disgustingly dirty, which really made us nervous. We brought it to the front desk and they assured us that it was just an oversight and they cleaned the remote (had to take it apart to clean). IDK...for the price we paid, we expected everything to be perfect, especially in the cleaning department. As far as the massage goes, save your money and go directly to the massage therapist in North Conway. Also, as others have mentioned, it would be nice to have a suitcase rack to keep one's luggage on vs having to use a chair in the room.…
This place is so good, I almost hate to tell you about it. First of all, it is in the center of Jackson, NH, which is a quaint little town in the middle of the White Mountains. Second, there is a two person tub in your bedroom. It is deep and it has jets and it is awesome. Grab a bunch of food and a bunch of wine and someone you love and never leave the room. No time for a bath? There is a two person shower in the bathroom. Oh and did I mention, this is a suite? There is a sitting room up front for when you get tired of that person you love and just want to read a book. Sue Ann and her folks are just amazing. They made this Midwest girl feel right at home. Any other year, I would probably have kept this place a secret but in the world of COVID good people deserve all the business they can get.…
Great stay at the Snowflake Inn in Jackson, NH. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Fireplace in rooms and hot tubs. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating if we needed anything. Nice to relax around wrap around porch. Fire pit in evening and Sue, the owner, left out s’more kits and sticks to roast marshmallows. Delicious home made granola, yogurt and fruit parfaits in morning. Town of Jackson was nice and we had dinner at the Red Fox Tavern twice- food was excellent. Great stay-we will be back.
Our fourth and final day at the Snowflake Inn and I can’t say enough good things about this place. First, it’s immaculate and complying with COVID protocols. Because of Covid our rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis but there was always a nice basket of towels, paper goods and Lindt Truffles outside our door. The king sized bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet (little kids are not allowed). The inn has a beautiful fire pit and there were little bags and sticks set up to make S’mores. Sue, the innkeeper, is super nice and very hospitable. There is coffee available in the morning and she also provides yogurt parfaits and other yummy treats (she keeps them in the kitchen- Covid compliant). The only thing I would change about the rooms is maybe add a desk/vanity. Overall it was a lovely stay and we can’t wait to come back. …
