I like inns that are a mix of a beautiful and interesting property, with innkeepers that are helpful and polite but not to chatty that provide a great guest experience, and have a property with rooms and furnishings that are interesting and unique. Riverside is a perfect mix of all of these with a convent location just outside the crowds of North Conway, and as an added bonus, our filling and wonderful breakfast was gluten free. As someone who thought they knew North Conway, this was a delightful and unexpected surprise!

We had never stayed at a b & B before. It was an anniversary gift from our kids. We did not know what to expect. Any expectations we had were far exceeded. The inn was quiet, spotless and was kept to perfection. The rooms were wonderful and the food incredible. The hosts were friendly, helpful and very well versed in the area attractions, restaurants etc... The location is super convenient to the White Mountains and just outside North Conway. The innkeepers, Ken & Chris, are rightfully proud of what they offer. I can not believe there is a better place to stay. We will return next year.

We are on a months driving tour of New England and are not pre-booking any accommodation. We therefore arrived at this B & B unannounced and were given the most most delightful welcome by the owners and who are so proud, quite rightly so, of what they have created here. It is the most beautiful house (home!) and which s openly offered for you to use. The quality of the accommodation is really top-notch in every respect, spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. Large on-site parking is free as is the WiFi which is excellent and the breakfast is truly special and changed daily, waitress served and freshly cooked with a superb range of fruits. It is a quiet location and yet just a few minutes drive from the lovely, but bustling town of North Conway, and perfectly located for exploring the White Mountains and the many ‘local’ attractions and resorts etc., - and the owners, with a life-long experience of the area, are most eager to share their beautiful part of the world with advice and suggestions - including a range of local facilities including restaurants - to ensure you make the most of your visit. In summary - this location is the very best base for the White Mountains area, and in our view, you will struggle to find better accommodation!!!!

My wife and her friends have been coming here for a few years. This year, our famiy was travelling for a week in Maine, NH, and Vermont. We scheduled a stay here and it was everything my wife had told me over the years. We were with our 15 & 17 year old kids. We were on the top floor. It was a hot weekend but rooms were comfortably air conditioned. Ken greeted us when we arrived. Ken is very accomodating and great to speak with. The downstairs has some nice sitting areas with many books. The rooms are very clean. Ken prepared breakfast in the morning and it was great. Eggs made to order, healthy smoothie, berries and coffee. The muffins and bread are made by Ken right there. Ken's wife, Chris, was also at breakfast. Just a great morning of food and conversation. As the kids got ready to go for the day, I drank coffee sitting on rocks in the middle of the river which runs right through the back yard. Many different sitting areas in the back. But sitting on rocks by the river was great. Very good stay!

The inn was not crowded on the weekend we visited. I cannot imagine why! It was a lovely inn near North Conway and it's attractions but far enough away from the traffic. The rooms were cozy and clean. The innkeeper was friendly but not invasive. He created a wonderful gourmet breakfast for us which was included in the cost of the room.
