The Inn on Golden Pond was recommended by a goof friend, now I'm recommending it to you. The Inn is comfortable with stylish decor and furniture. The hosts were kind and attentive. Our room had plush bedding, soft towels and was a very pleasant space to spend time. Breakfasts started with freshly baked muffins, continuing with excellent food with special touches. Make time to visit The Inn on Golden Pond. You will not regret it.
We stayed here for a weekend and we will definitely go back. Ericka and Mike were the best hosts. The Inn is beautifully remodeled. The beds were comfortable and great amenities and lots of space to move around. Our room had a separate living room for the kids and it was dog friendly too. My son spent the morning playing with their 3 kids. Our dog loved the big back yard. Plus, Mike cooks you an amazingly devious breakfast. Can’t rave enough. Not to mention they offer to sit if you’re interested in a parents night out! Thanks again for a stress free and relaxing weekend! One of our best Inn experiences in a long time! Highly recommend for families with kids, dogs or anyone who wants a great time away!
Owners are extremely nice. Breakfast was amazing. Room was extremely clean. It was quiet all night. Nice patio. It was better than any hotel I have ever stayed. Would visit again. There is a restaurant down the street with very good food and a small science center. I can't type on my phone so I am leaving it at this.
This house is beautifully renovated, super clean, and lovingly maintained. The beds are super comfortable! The chef was very funny and a real foodie. Other than the noisy baby noises (guests not hosts) at 5:30am, this place was near perfect.
What a great stay at Inn On Golden Pond! Erica and Mike were so welcoming and made our stay so comfortable! The Inn had an amazing breakfast each morning, coffee always available, wine if you want it, sheets and towels great, and conversation great! We did the Five Fingers Trail and would highly recommend as well as Inn Kitchen + Bar for dinner!
Wow! What an amazing stay!!! Our family of 5 stayed with Erica and Mike and we enjoyed every minute. Our 3 kids had a fantastic time playing with their 3 kids in their gorgeous yard. The house is so comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. We absolutely would recommend any one with kids stay with the Salmon family or just as a couples get away. And the breakfasts were SO DELICIOUS!!! When you plan a stay with them make sure you stay for at least 3 nights so you can try all the yummy breakfast options! We can't say enough about The Inn on Golden Pond... The next time we are in New Hampshire we will absolutely be staying with Erica and Mike, they are wonderful!!!
My husband and our best friends stayed at the Inn over the weekend, right off the bat it was like walking into a family members home, which in fact is exactly how host Erica, and Mike make you feel. Erica goes above an beyond in comfort, you ask for a glass (to make a margarita :)) you get the glass and more in a presentation that was incredible (that's were Mike comes in). Chef and host Mike created amazing breakfast every morning, the muffins to die for (no dieting this weekend). I can't leave out Papa Paul, Erica's Dad, we spent many hours talking and laughing with him. To sum up our weekend it was "Over the top" in detail and comfort, we will definitely be back with our furry ones.
What can I say about our Host and Hostess. They are very friendly and accommodating. We came as guests and left feeling like family. The Inn has just been renovated and done beautifully. Erica is the Hostess who juggles 3 kids and running around pleasing all her guests. Mike is also the chef and makes an amazing breakfast. And let's not forget Papa Paul doing his story telling and general good guy thing. The rooms are bright and cozy at the same time. Being there with friends made it even more special.we would recommend the Inn on Golden Pond to anyone looking for relaxing and enjoyable stay. You will not be disappointed.
Loved our stay at the Inn on Golden Pond. Our room was spectacular—nicely renovated with one of the most comfortable beds! The breakfast with Mike was super yummy! And for being a gluten free person, he took good care of me. Erica was a superb host—making you feel welcome. I was also able to bring my dog Aria. She loved the grounds including the short hike to the top of the hill overlooking Squam Lake. Definitely recommend!
We got to enjoy the product of Kelly's chickens ( she refers to them as the girls) and the wonderful fresh eggs they produce. The breakfasts were outstanding including the homemade maple syrup they make themselves. We enjoyed Daren playing his guitar per our request in the evening. Our bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the large Deer Lodge room. You couldn't have better hosts than Kelly and Darren.
