My wife and I spent a night at the Inn on Golden Pond on a trip to see family in New England. We stayed one night and absolutely adored the place. The home is beautiful, tucked away in the woods. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Bill and Bonnie were exceptional hosts who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.... More

We actually stayed in August. Such a nice place all around. Super friendly owners, great breakfast, nice common space, ample and quiet rooms, good location, you don't have to eat with others unless you'd want.to, not stuffy like one of the more "luxurious" inns where we stayed nearby the year prior. Had planned to return in 2016 but had to... More

Arriving ahead of a two night stay as the weather was starting to turn colder, we were given a very warm welcome. We were booked into a large en-suite bedroom and were able to make use of the guests living room, where Bill lit the open fire on both evenings which was lovely to return to after getting back from... I recently stayed at this cozy and charmingly New England B&B. My room and private bath were immaculate and quite spacious and the bedding, very comfy. Innkeepers Bill and Bonnie went out of their way to make my stay restful and enjoyable. They were warm, welcoming and full of great tips for enjoying the local sites and activities. At the... More

Just spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend in Holderness, New Hampshire, at The Inn On Golden Pond! When we arrived on Friday, we were welcomed by innkeeper, Bill Webb, and shown to our room, The Rabbit Hole. The room was just what we were looking for, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was made each morning by Bill's wife, Bonnie, and we enjoyed... More

Bonnie was a great hostess. Bill was rarely seen. The B & B seems worn and old - needing an upgrade. The breakfast was one of worst we have had at an B & B. It is buffet style with boxes of cereals. The coffee was absolutely awful. For these prices you expect a much better breakfast. It is centrally... More

Legendary radio commentator Paul Harvey was famous for telling “the rest of the story.” It seems like a fitting moment to emulate Mr. Harvey. Only twice in our 32 year innkeeping career have we needed to knock on a guest’s door late in the evening to ask them to lower their voices because their volume was so loud that they... More

Our host Bonnie and Bill were wonderful offering many insights to the area, like the covered bridge down the road. The Inn on Golden Pond is a charming B&B, very welcoming and comfortable home. We enjoyed exploring the trail behind the house and leaf peeping. Coming back from dinner we experienced the warm and comfort of the living room as... More

We stayed 5 nights with Bonnie and Bill at the Inn on Golden Pond, Bill made us welcome from the moment we stepped in the front door. Our Room Deer lodge was very spacious, clean and comfortable, being a corner room it was very light and airy. The Inn itself is a lovely traditional New England property set back from... More

The Inn was centrally located for the adventures we had planned. Bill and Bonnie are gracious hosts. The rabbits hole on the third floor was quite, comfortable and as advertised. Bonnie was ready each morning with a smile to fix us breakfast to start the day. We kayaked Little Squam from the launch near River's Edge marina to Walters Basin,... More

Very welcoming, homely, clean and comfortable. An ideal base from which to explore the Squam Lake area. Bill and Bonnie are excellent hosts and more than happy to provide very useful information and insights to travellers new to the area. Highly recommended.
